I’ve never gotten a transcript in my life any time i try it locks me out saying my info isn’t correct. idk how many times i can enter the same SSN, DOB, and address and get rejected. My info is correct :( i hate not knowing what’s going on. i’m on hold with the irs to see if a live person can help since it never works. my husband even tried to do it for his and it said the same for him and we have a joint return. WHAT IS THE DEAL? anyone else have this problem?

it say the balance of your refund was sent to your bank account January 30,2015, for direct deposit.
at first it said if not credit by feb 4 2015 check with bank, i still haven’t received mines and i know its because the tax penalty because i don’t owe anything else

it also show a tax topic 201 and reference number 1091 which mean i owe the irs, but my question is when will i receive the remaining balance of my refund, how long does it take after irs has took the money out that i owe, somebody help me tell me something

Hey Kassy I filed on 1/22 with turbotax and the IRS approved me on the 26th.. I was kinda curious why I hadn’t got my refund back yet usually it doesn’t take this long so that lead me to find this site and your post! Ok I did what you suggested and checked my transcripts it has a 846 code on it but the where’s my refund thing on the IRS site still says it’s being processed with one bar! You think they just haven’t updated it? Sorry for all the questions your advice was the best I’ve seen so far.. Everyone else just seems to be complaining or asking questions themselves! I’m also wondering if it’s going to take longer because I’m having it go straight to my bank and not like a net spend card or something it seems like a lot of ppl using those have already received refunds lol hell it probably doesn’t matter! I can’t get my transcripts to pull anything up EVER! No matter how many times i get locked out… i enter the exact same info that is on my return for this year and it tells me my info is wrong every time… i even went back to look and make sure i didn’t make any mistakes on my return with my address and it’s correct there too. Why can’t i ever pull up my transcript? i have tried every year and i can never get them for some reason. I filed on 1/20 thru HR Block, accepted 1/21/15 and WMR is still sitting at accepted. I have never waited this long in my life for a refund. I also checked my confirmation code from HR Block and it says 201502 which i’ve read is a “dead cycle’ i need some answers… does anyone have anything like this going on too? on hold with IRS now, i don’t know if they’ll even help me. No update here either. Filed/accepted 1/29. Account transcript for 2014 available, but no codes, all zeros, and the only date says as of 2/23/2015. If what I read from someone else is true, and we were not actually accepted on the day we were told, it would make sense by that date. 2/23 would be 21 days from 2/2, which follows what that person said about actually being accepted on 2/2. That would mean it has only been 3/4 days. Craziness, and it stinks, but IF it’s true, it does make sense with the date on my transcript. Who really knows?? Not me, for sure.

I had EIC credit…the bars FINALLY moved and I will get refund this week.

However, because of this fiasco I will NEVER file early again. Neither will I e-file ever again. Im only filing on the very last day of tax season, to guarantee myself a low dif score.

Last year, I got my refund within 1 week of filing. Now, I’m right at 21 day marker.

Whats next? 45 or 60 day wait for refund next year?

Too much suspicion with early filers for my comfort.

Second time it’s in final stages of processing will have date available soon

Then back to intial stage of processing so I called and they claim in was pulled for review I never go no letter or anything that was 2 days ago

Today I check now it says in final stages of processing should take up to 2 weeks

I am in the same boat , Filed 1/29 accepted same day , 1 bar on WMR N/A on transcripts , Called the IRS yesterday they said mine is still processing and i do not owe them any money but i do have a Action on my account which is a student loan i owe but that should be fine sense i already talked to my student loan office and i am currently on Financial hardship forbearance so that should not affect it .

So i guess we are in the waiting game atm not sure why maybe we got resequnced

I’m so aggravated!!! It seems like the last 3 years no matter when I file my return I get stuck in a group of people that have to wait the full 21 days or longer. 2 yrs ago I did contact a tax advocate and she did help. Guess I’m going to have to do it again this year. If I COULD wait I wouldn’t mind it so much but, I have an 8 yr old with Autism and Bipolar disorder, a 6 yr old with ADHD and anxiety and I’m physically disabled. So I depend on income tax to help pay for all of our various medical necessities. Also, I developed a pretty severe heal spur on my “good” foot and I need to have surgery. I just wish there was some quick easy way to KNOW when my money will be in the bank or know if there was an error or just KNOW SOMETHING!!

Still n/a for my return transcript and my account transcript has all 0s and “no return filed”. The last 3 yrs cycle codes have ended in 03, 02, 01 in that order chronologically. So if anyone can maybe decipher that info I’d be eternally grateful. Or if you can point me in the right direction to figure it out myself I’ll do the research myself.

My ddd was yesterday 2/4. My husband and I were on a payment plan with IRS due to a 1099 misc coming after we got our refund last year, which made us ineligible for eic. On WMR and act transcripts it shows that they paid back what we owed the IRS and that the difference was sent to our bank on 2/4. The act transcripts still have 846 with that ant on it. Today WMR updated to three bars with sent with message 201 for taking what we owed the IRS from last year. Here is what it shows: Your refund has been reduced to pay a past due IRS tax obligation.
The balance of your refund, $xxxx was sent to your bank on February 4, 2015 for direct deposit. If your refund is not credited to your account by February 9, 2015, check with your bank to find out if it has been received. Please wait until February 9, 2015 before you contact us as we are unable to take any further action until then. Where did my money go???

I filled 1/29 and was accepted same day. Nothing fancy or unusual about my refund-only a $36 difference from last year. But last night a group of Mom’s at Dancing were saying that Louisiana taxpayers don’t see their refunds till their State has been processed… They said we “piggy back”… So I gave that a lot of thought last night- could this be true? I normally get my federal and state within 72 hours of each other but being that Louisiana didn’t start processing till yesterday could this be the hold up or is this just an Tax Urban Legend?

I do not have a blank transcript at all. I have n/a on all my transcripts except wages, which only states that no return has been filed. If you have a blank transcript with an “as of date” Feb, 16, 2015 then most likely you will see a refund Monday the 9th according to others who have had the same thing. Good luck!

I am not sure about the IPSU message, I can’t get into my personal transcripts, but since we filed joint and he is primary I can see my husbands. Not sure what that’s about either.

That sucks! I knew the ACA forms were going to be a bother so I made sure (3 times) that mine were included when I efiled. You should be able to fax them. I saw somewhere on here someone posted the fax and phone number with ext to follow up. They said it only took 2 days.

Going off of one year I cannot say you are one of us weeklies, but if all your returns (or last 2-3 years) end in 05 then you SHOULD see updates tomorrow-Monday morning.

I got my state back on netspend 4 days early. My ddd was Tuesday Feb 3 and i got it Friday Jan 30 th at 3pm.

Filed and accepted 1/29 afternoon through Turbotax. One bar (processing) on WMR. N/A on all transcripts, Wage Transcript for 2014 says ‘no record of return filed’. No major changes, move within same zip code, first year student, had insurance through hubby’s work, same dependents. WMR shows Tax Topic 152, but that is automatic, right? Called Turbotax yesterday and they said to expect an update within 24-48 hrs, but I feel like I should know by now.

Previous cycle codes are 20140604, 20130601, and 20120404. Deposits were 2/10/14, 2/6/13, 1/23/14 — all within days of filing. Can anyone explain to me what might be the hold up in my case? I My hubby has been temporarily laid off so any extra $$$ would take a weight off our shoulders. If it was an offset, I’d know by now, right? Or review?

You can actually buy a NetSpend card at your local Walmart CVS or Rite Aid. I had that situation occur about two years ago and after going through a rigorous identity verification process and speaking with the rep for almost 30 minutes they transferred my money. It can take up to 1 to 2 hours but if you’re patient when you speak with the rep you should be able to get your money transferred to another card.

My grandmother filed 2/2 and her DDD is 2/6. But I filed 1/27 and I still have nothing, not transcripts or DDD. There doesn’t seem to be any reason for who gets a DDD and who doesn’t. Waiting sucks :(

Yes, I’m still waiting on mine. You can call customer service and pay (mine was $30.95) to have them rush you a card. I ordered mine last night and I should have it Friday or Monday at the latest.

I talked to HRblock this morning we were having a conversation about the dead cycle and blank transcripts. The customer service rep told me whatever date you have on your blank transcript is the maximum you have to wait for your refund. Take mine for example. My blank transcript says Feb, 16, 2015. If it was telling me the truth I should receive my DD before that date. I hope she is right. I can wait til the 16th with bells on. Last year I didn’t get my refund until april 28 2014

E-Filed both Federal and State returns thru Turbo Tax on 1/29. Got accepted the same day, The past few days WMR has one bar, today it disappeared. I’ve been trying to access Transcripts but I can’t log in even if I have my correct credentials/info and instead I keep getting instructed to call the 800 908 4490 (IPSU-identity theft). I never reported of any issues regarding identity theft, first time this happened. Tried to order via phone (Transcript Hotline) and the automated system stated they don’t have any info with my 2014 return. :(

Yes, this has happened to us this year too. We have been using HR block emerald card for 8+ years and have never been rejected until this year. The correct routing number and acct number was on the return. DD was supposed to be 1/30 and I’m just now finding out it was rejected for some unknown reason. I had to get rowdy with the bank in order for them to dig deeper to find out where my money was. All the IRS could tell me was that they sent it to my bank. I tell you what we are working for our money with all these hoops we got to jump through. This is a frustrating time of year. So how long does it take to get the paper check once the bank rejects the refund? Also, the bank was saying that they are going to run it back through in 5 days. That doesn’t sound right. I thought once its rejected it’s rejected. I couldn’t understand. Does anyone know? I don’t need my money flip flopping all around.

How cool is that? 2 ppl from Tally with the same issue lol. I’ve been reading where some people are getting their prior year transcript faxed over to them to see what cycle code they have. I just did it after being on hold for an hour. Supposedly your cycle code can give you some insight as to when you can expect it. I’m an 05’er.

I pulled my transcripts from prior years and my cycle dates have been 20140605, 20130605, 20120605, and 20110708. Looks like I’m a weekly updater. I’ve always received my refund on a Wednesday. I’m hoping that we will see an update this weekend and see our refunds in the bank 2/11/15.

I called my state revenue department and my state was processed on 2/3/15 and she said the direct deposit should be within 3-5 days of that date. Hopefully will see that dep in the bank tomorrow.

@pugtor The 8962 form would only be needed if you paid premiums for your Health care. The 1095-a is if you purchased your Insurance from the marketplace. I am not sure about all those forms. My family and I qualified for state run health care. We do not have to pay any premiums and it is not considered a marketplace insurance.

I filed on January 23 and a couple hours later I received a emailing saying the IRS has received my taxes but every time I check “Where’s My Refund” it keeps saying wait 24 hours after the IRS has received it well it’s been 13 days and it still says the same thing I filed with Jackson Hewitt what is the problem? i also filed on the 20th but I call irs 3 times and was told I was re-sequenced also so now they are telling me that my process started on the 30th I guess after that issue started about I was recycled and had to be put back in. so far no letters but last I was accepted in 4 days than I got topic 1121 and was under review and after all that I didn’t get my money until the end of july. I hope this aint the case again. so far when I did call they said everything looked normal I can access my account through mail, but no return. and when I try to get info online I get locked out. when I first filed I could get info but it was in encryption. so after a week I was locked out. this is crazy to me I really don’t understand I do have topic 152 but does that really mean anything anymore? I have seen a lot who updated yesterday, with a ddd of 2/6 & some who updated this morning with 2/9. There are also a lot of people who still have not seen updates though. Myself included. There is no rhyme or reason to it. People who filed 1/20 some have updates, a lot don’t. Same goes for us, I suppose. It is, unfortunately, whenever they get to it. It really stinks.
