Thanks for your mom’s update. 2 days is pretty quick. I’ve been noticing alot of people have different situations. But happy your Mom got her refund:)
Hope & praying that after the bank gets the notice, they will send it back ASAP and IRS or that 3rd party people’s that handle turbotaxs payment send that check my way:)

I can imagine your frustration but I prepared my mother taxes and the same thing happend to her, she accidentally gave me the wrong routing number and when it was time for the irs to disturbute her refund it rejected and therefore a check was issue out and she received a paper check with in two days. She filed and had a DDD of 2/12/15 and received a part check in the mail on 02/14/2015. A Check is usually generated and sent out instantly.
Hope this sheds a little light on your worries, it won’t be to long before you receive it.

Filed and accepted 2/11 with turbotax. I incorrectly typed in bank account number wrong for my DD. Everything else was correct after reviewing after I filed. Called IRS 2/13 to try and stop DD and have check just mailed but hadn’t gotten to them in time because IRS had already processed it to bank and if my account number was just off by a few numbers the bank will reject and send back and I will get a check mailed out to me. Called bank the same day to see if they had gotten anything and nothing yet. WMR updated 2/14 giving me a DDD of 2/19. Checked my bank and they haven’t gotten anything or something pending from IRS, not even an email saying the bank sent back the funds due to my account being incorrect. No email from turbotax OR IRS. I even called SBBT to see if they had anything of mine cause I had turbotax withdrawal the funds needs for their services to be taken out from my tax return and they too had nothing on file.
Im going crazy cause I can’t seem to find someone who knows what’s going on with my refund or can give me answers on EXACTLY seeing that check.
I’ve heard the 6-8 weeks, 3-4 weeks, 7 days and within 72 hours you receive the check after bank rejects the money.
Is there anyone else out there that knows answers? Or are also going through exactly what Im going through. I need someone to Tell me something that would ease my brain. Please and Thank you so much in advance!!!

I file on 2/4/15 and was accepted the same day. The wheres my refund site and my transcript both say a direct deposit date of today 2/19/15. But I haven’t received anything, there’s not even any pending transactions, very frustrated!

I filed my taxes online Feb 4th around 7pm eastern, got an email saying both state & fed were accepted about an hour later. On Feb 13th, I finally got a DDD of 2/19. My best friend and my father in law filed two days before me and got their refund 2/12.

I filed my taxes feb 6th, and it got accepted about 10:45am (I live in cali, not sure 11:00 east coast? west?) I look online and its still on accepted. I look at charts on different websites and it says i should get on the 12th but i dont see its even been approved yet. Did anyone else file on or after feb 6? My chances of getting it by friday looks slim……crap!!

Filed on 01/30 little b4 11am, so was accepted later for a probable DDD 2/5/15. Its been a whole week waiting while completely broke. Its due tomorrow 2/11/15 . I don’t give an F anymore anyways. I talked to the bank again today, they said that my refund was rejected by them because the name does not match. I asked what name they have and its my first and last name, I checked Tax act to see what I put on my return and it has my first, middle and last name, could that be the problem? If so, is there anyway to fix it so I can still have it DD?

The thing is this pre paid cards like pay pal the numbers on your account that is checking needs to be correct if you put it in your account correct if you done this your self i always call the bank or the card companies to double check the name of the bank and where the account is going to and your routing number and account number.
if you headed to like a tax prepare and they offered you a card like a pay card always see how the account is handled . See if there is a 1800 number to call if your missing your refund. See how much your refund is . Get the account number and routing number and double check by calling the card company it is going. Double check the IR does not know if your account is active or not if one number is missing or miss placed they will kick it back and it will be mailed in the mail . Santa barba bank deals with Tax slater and turbo tax. They are great sites to do your taxes but fail to double check your checking account number in check you need to physically go into the account double check and when you send it get the tax software company to give you the bank information number to call about your refund . Do not call your IRS office they will tell you the waiting processes is long , Tax software like tax slater,Turbo tax and other software uses Santa Barba bank check with them first , you have to have your amount your getting and if your filing status changed or not if not place it as your filing status and your ssn number. The DDD date will be there and when it is sent to the bank if you prepaid your account for taxes then the fees will be zero but if you want it out of your taxes a large fee usually of 200.00 is taken out it is for the processing fee that is normally drafted before you receive your refund.

If that does not help then call the IRS to get information. Where is my refund will let you know if you have to pay for any other taxes or debts that are owed. If that is not the case then call your tax prepare that did your taxes to see if they even have your paper work sent if it was sent and you gotten a DDD date then maybe it is at the office where your taxes were done sometimes that happens it needs to be picked up by the client who gotten it done. Liberty Tax service uses Santa Barba and they have it sometimes sent to their office for the clients to pick up the cards are reloaded with the refund all you have to do is sign for it . It is a protection for the client and they take their fees out. If your Hr Block then they should have it already on your card if not then it is at the office there is many reasons why your waiting …..

My DDD was today (2/6), still no DD :( I’m using a PayPower card. I called the IRS and they said they sent it, bank said they show nothing. I called the offset number and I don’t have any offsets. Bank said to check tomorrow afternoon, fingers crossed!

I’m not sure exactly what is going on…..there is a way to check your tax transcripts and read. The codes on there, I accidentally locked myself out for 24 hours because I supposedly entered the wrong information… ANYWAYS, I’m frustrated. Need new tires! These Pittsburgh winters are tough!!!!

the 4th. HRB took out their fees
on the 4th as well. I usually get a text when money is loaded to my card but i got nothing. So i texted BAL to 42265 and there it was all nice and sexy.

The refund code is 846. That’s what you need for your refund to be issued. If you have 570 and 896, there may be an offset/hold/something else on your account. Others here will know, search for those codes. Good luck to you.

I GOT MY REFUND AT 23:30 CST on 2/5/15. I have the emerald card and I did have the fees taken out of the refund. It’s the first time that I’ve ever gotten the refund earlier than the actual day.

0700 pacific 1\5 SBTPG has refund and deducted turbo tax fees. Then sent remaining refund balance to my Chase account.
Chase usualy post direct deposites to my account at 0237 eastern time. That should be tonight 1/5 at 1137 pacific time for me.

I called, and they show no “pending deposits’, but I guess every bank is different. I know that Ameris won’t show it online until its fully processed, so maybe it will just “hit” in the am! Good luck everyone!

Having refund go to bluebird account hopefully they release the funds in a reasonable timeframe… Next year I’ll may go back to using my actual bank account :/ the seem kinda slow… They advertise like you get it earlier than a traditional bank… Doesn’t seem that way.. At least chase post at 230 am

I have NFCU ..It has posted to the account on 2/5 – But will be moved to available balance after the system updates tonight .

So no bill paying till 2/6 :(

But , I have to say – So Glad this year has moved faster than the previous years (for me)
I tried filing before opening day and seemed to get caught up in weeks of unknown delay’s

Now my thoughts are waiting a good 5-7 days after opening filing.
