Looking back at my prior 2 years pins, I received them early in early January. Will keep you updated as to when it comes in the mail. 12/31 12/31 12/31/2019 12/31/2019

2019-12-30 04:40:32 12/30/2019 4:40 AM Sheila_33 Beebee: The IRS says your daughter can have her own earnings and still be your dependent as long as she doesn't contribute more than half to her own support. A gray area may exist if she has a good income and gives you money toward her room and board, or uses it to pay her own college expenses. Otherwise, as long as you out-earn her, she usually qualifies. She does have to file her own tax return if she earns more than I believe 5700.00 during the tax year. If she files her own return, she can't claim herself as a standard exemption if you can claim her as a dependent. 12/30 12/30 12/30/2019 12/30/2019

2019-12-30 04:29:20 12/30/2019 4:29 AM Sheila_33 @you know: It kind of depends on the 1099. If its taxable, then you may end up paying taxes on it. If its not, then it won't make a difference. If you can access your tax account at Irs.gov then you will be able to see if it has been turned in. 12/30 12/30 12/30/2019 12/30/2019
2019-12-30 00:08:42 12/30/2019 12:08 AM Beebee21 Hi everyone I need a little help, please...can I file my daughter if she has a full time job, her income is actually close to mine, been working since March, goes to school online, and she's 18 years old but lives with me. Is there a limit of wages she can make to carry her? She also wants to file her own taxes as well. Since she will also have the school credit. 12/30 12/30 12/30/2019 12/30/2019

2019-12-29 13:00:47 12/29/2019 1:00 PM Sheila_33 @Genn: You cannot choose to file as single or head of household. However, if you were separated from your spouse before December 31, 2019 by a separate maintenance decree, you may choose to file as single. You may be able to file as a head of household instead of as married if you meet certain qualifications to be considered unmarried. 12/29 12/29 12/29/2019 12/29/2019

2019-12-25 15:40:11 12/25/2019 3:40 PM Sheila_33 @SabrinGa: Mine did that before I updated to a refund date last year when I was audited so I'm hoping that's a good sign. An audit, unless an advocate is involved, goes in order from when it was received, so with it being December, fingers crossed they're getting yours wrapped up. 12/25 12/25 12/25/2019 12/25/2019
