I’m also an 05 person. I keep hoping that just maybe I will have a positive change tonight. Federal was accepted on the 26th. Took 4 days for them to finally show up. Had filed on the 22nd. We having nothing to crazy on our tax returns. We have education credits. We could really use our refund back this year. Had really thought we’d have them back by now.

Well- I’m a little disappointed. I was hoping for some sort of light at the end of the tunnel- but a last nothing. No update, No movement, No transcripts… I’m a little perplexed by this. Our refund was a whole $36 more than last year. No big changes and yet nothing. Super Happy for the ones that received their DDD’s and refunds already- just waiting for when I get mine.

Anyone who filed through tt and was accepted on the 20th does it still say 50% of people who were accepted on the 20th have received their refund? Cause mine has said that since last Friday morning was at 0% before that so my thought is everyone accepted on the 20th ended up with weekly cycles and the other 50% will update tonight? Just a thought I hope its true but I guess we’ll find out in the morning.

I filed on 1/21 and had a DDD for 1/30 the day before I got the dreaded 1121 code. I still have the same code no updates. On my transcript it shows a 846 refund but then an 841 cancellation code. the date says 2/16. Anybody else having issues?

Account now won’t release the payment until the date on the IRS return.. They don’t release them like they do direct deposit.

If you have the 2/16 on your blank transcript that’s a good sign. You’re probably not finished processing yet. Try to remember when you first saw your acct transcript turn up blank with that date and add a week, that’s when you’ll see an update of your transcripts with a cycle code = DDD. The next morning after that you should see a full update your acct transcript with a 846 refund issued code and the amount of your refund. If the 846 code is not showing at that time, look for other codes that may be present (which would indicate and interruption or delay in you receiving your refund). Otherwise, if 846 is there your refund is about 5 to seven days away. Note: WMR may not update to reflect that after your transcripts update, there’s been reports of people getting their money with it still being at one or two bars.

On 1/29 I was able to excess my account transcripts but all 000 and says no return filed. I was finally able to excess all my transcripts this morning with cycle code of 20150504. Someone was saying yesterday that whatever day of the week you could view your “dead” transcripts (0000 no return filed) that your should be able to excess them that day the following week which held true for me but I don’t know if that is for sure for all or not just what someone else said and showed true for me. I don’t think I’m weekly cause last year I was 05 and different the years before. Hope that helps!!

Filed 1/30 accepted same day 2/4 woke up to a DD of 2/6 filed with TAXACT and had fees taken out of Republic Bank and going to my netspend card, this morning netspend doesnt show any deposits but when I logged into Republic they have received my refund and have wired it to my card. Alright, just got off the phone with someone from the identity theft line. She said that my account was flagged to a security breach when I worked at my last job (which I figured). She said my refund was fine, but that my account had a theft indicator on it, but it would NOT delay my refund and that I could write in to have it removed for next year’s filing season. Also said that my transcripts are not available yet (and said that there’s no way to tell refund date from the cycle, which is crap but she was being nice to me so I didn’t want to argue). She said *MOST* of the time direct deposits are approved and deposited 8-10 days from filing but the IRS officially says 21 days.

Yeah I think we will update tonight. I seem to remember getting my transcripts/wmr updates 3-4 days prior to deposit and my deposits are always on Wednesdays so that should be a Friday update, hopefully. I was more positive about this year, but I’m slowly getting nervous an discouraged a bit.

You’re welcome! I am seeing on other posts it means we should get a DDD of 2/10/15 or 2/11/15 and WMR should update tonight! Fingers crossed! 2015 = The Tax Year, 05 = The cycle week (this week was 4, so next week is 5). and the last two numbers is the day of the cycle. This year it’s debatable if the cycle began on Thursday or Friday. So assuming Friday is 01, Monday is 02, Tuesday 03, Wednesday 04, Thursday 05. Hope that makes sense! It’s what I’ve gathered from other posts :)

My Georgia return was flagged again for income verification (which is strange since TurboTax gathers that information online and I don’t even have to enter the W2 numbers). Does this message on the IRS site mean mine is in some kind of dead zone or is that the standard message everyone sees?

Allie,

Most banks have next day availability for government checks if the deposit is a paper check. DD should always have same day availability as soon as it hits your account otherwise I guess it would defeat the purpose of DD. If you really want to be sure though since its a local bank I would just call and ask. They will be able to tell you for sure and probably even if it will post Friday night instead. Hope this helps!

Just wanted to chime in that I filed and was accepted on 1/23 through HR block. I have gotten no updates just “being processed” no transcripts.

When I look at the confirmation code on HR Block looks like I may be in the dead cycle everyone else is talking about but not sure.

Filed before the deadline with H&R Block, got accepted on 1/21. I have seen no movement or sign of anything from the IRS since then. I have a 2014 Wage & Income transcript but when downloaded, it reads “No record of return filed.” No 2014 Return or Record of Account transcripts for 2014. 1 bar on WMR. Calls to IRS result in “call some other time” canned messages. It’s now 15 days, and I know they say wait 21, but I’ve never had such a slow refund. This year I had education credits which I’ve never had before. That and the ACA bs I had to repay $479. Wondering why the IRS has received my return but just been sitting on it like so many others here. My personal opinion is that filing early/first day was a big mistake.

Ok what is going on here. My DDD was for 2/4/2015, it is now 2/5/2015 and still nothing. I went through TurboTax had my fees taken out of refund and my refund is to be deposit on my netspend card. I went to the SBBT website and it says no information from the IRS site. I went to the IRS site and I have all 3 bars. I do have an offset but I did last year and never took this long. Does anyone know what is going on , or what to do? Thank you.

Same as @vero. DDD of 2/9 this morning. Since that’s a Monday, is it possible we get our deposits Friday night? I know that sometimes if my payroll falls on a Monday my deposit will post Friday night. I use a local bank. But then again I’m scared they will hold my deposit the full 5 days and I won’t get it until Friday. Thoughts?

All of my past transcripts end in 05 last year i got my refund around the 13th hoping its the same this year.. but as of no movement at all….
