Which is most accurate information? TOP line says no offsets, NSLDC shows defaulted student loans, and my eddebt.com doesn’t list all the loans. I’m in the process of consolidation, and wondering if I’ll be offset???

Yeah, this whole issue with Kentucky is ridiculous. It’s one thing to have the refunds delayed, but to just give us a bunch of representative jargon when you call to inquire is rude. You’re tellin’ me that no one at the Kentucky Department of Revenue has any idea what is going on? Haha, good one.

Last year I used an AMEX Serve card and had fees taken out. I had a DDD of 2/10, the SBBT received the deposit on the Friday beforehand, and I had the funds deposited on Saturday the 8th. So there is a chance you may see it soon, but I think that was just Amex being awesome and not holding the funds all weekend until Monday. They deposit the next day, no matter what day. So with a DDD of this Friday, you will have it either Friday or Saturday early morning around 2:55 EST.

It’s hard to predict when they will process yours/issue a return in the future, as there are many factors involved in it and there is always the risk of delay, audit, etc.
That said.. However it looks as if they processed yours on 05 every year and are possibly on a weekly cycle. The MOST recent people who have gotten their transcripts have received a cycle code of 20150403 and should expect movement on WMR and a DDD within the next 3-4 days. With the first 3 weeks being dead weeks, I would say your return is most likely to be processed and transcripts available this week within the next 1-2 days and WMR updated and DDD sometime beginning of next week with a DDD towards the end of the week Weds-Thurs. Thats my best guess. I would say that if you can’t view your transcripts by Friday night, then I’d start to worry.

I went through taxslayer filed 1/20 accepted 1/21 I am able to see account and wage transcript just not return.. WMR still at 1 bar and the usual 152 tax topic.

Called the its waited to speak with a rep for over an hr… Lady didn’t want to give me no info because of the 21 crap.. but I had to practically beg her than she took a look and said my return was fine no errors just wait..

I filed on 1/24 and was accepted 45 minutes later. I checked WMR 20 mins ago and have a DDD of 1/30. Was able to pull my transcript yesterday and had a cycle date of 20150402.

Cycle dates there means year/week/day

05 is the day which is thrusday so you probably always got your refund on wedsnday

I actually asked during a recent phone call to customer service who advised that my account will text me when deposit is made, and that it would post on the expected date not early as netspend is good for.

I quit using netspend though after some really poor response to customer service. Wish now I had keep it only for tax season.

I have been using the emerald card for the past 9 years and I receive every direct deposit on it. I remember last year talking to customer service for the emerald card and asking if they release tax returns right away or do we have to wait for deposits to process and they told me as soon as the IRS sends the deposit it is released they do not hold it. So if you are like me & have a DD of 1/30 and the IRS sends the deposit to your card account tomorrow it will be on your card tomorrow. Last year my DD was 2/13 and I got it on 2/8. Also you can go to any H&R Block and request a new card they can give you a new card that is connected to your account information that you used for your deposit.

Unfortunetly I don’t think this is right. I have a confirmation number of 201502 that is still processing with no DDD yet but my daughter has a confirmation number of 201502 and she has a DDD for 1/30. I submitted both her return and mine on 1/21. We both were accepted immediately. Last year the exact same thing happened. I submitted us both at the same time and she was approved about two weeks prior to me. For some reason I end up on the weekly cycle instead of the daily.

I filed on the 22nd, approved an hour later. 1 bar and TT 152 since i was approved. I have not had any movement since then. Turbo Tax online shows Expected refund date of 1/23/2015 to 02/15/2015, the TT App shows 02/20/2015 and WMR has only one bar.

So many ppl have either received DD or have transcripts.
I keep getting locked out of website for transcripts.
SBBT has no record of funding be deposited to them and WMR i have heard isn’t working properly.
Some ppl are receiving there returns and still only have one bar.

Hope Im part of the DD 1/30/2015 I could so use the extra cash:)

I was in a Family Dollar today, the lady in front of me was paying with a Rushcard, she seemed to be unfamiliar with it, as she asked the cashier if they accepted them, then mentioned that it had her tax refund on it. @Florida nope, basic codes like 105, the EIC code, etc. nothing diff from years past (except I’m missing TC846–essential for getting a refund). Just the TC896. I did have a Tax Topic 201 this am on WMR. I owed previous taxes and they applied my refund. I’m just waiting for yet another update to release the leftover $$$ and give me a DDD (per IRS rep this morning). Tax debts can delay your refund. However, the tax debt and application aren’t reflected on my scripts. I could very well wake up tomorrow to a TC570 after it updates. Tax season sucks.

Cycle dates have to also have a code 846 to anticipate a soon coming refund.

For simplicity’s sake, all the 2015402ers were grouped together. 846 code essentially means approved for refund without it, expect additional steps, hence no refund at the same time as the rest of the group.

For many, there will be a delay because of the lack of health insurance. Its rumored that this should only be 4 days extra.

I got the same quiz in the mail too. I filed on the State’s website using my driver’s license. Then they want proof on top of that. A little over the top. I can see if the address or something didn’t match but we have been filing from the same address for the last 10 years and on their website. Used the telefile prior to the website.

Someone needs to write Joe testa (the tax commissioner) a little note. Not just someone, everyone.

Do you have an equivalent “freeze” code holding yours?

I read there are several codes to freeze an account.

I also read that 570 typically also generates a 971 I think it was which was notice sent to taxpayer.

In the absence of a letter being sent to notify the reason for a freeze, it sounds reasonable that it may be healthcare penalty related.

But I really have no clue

This is all covered in my post: Accepted 1/20 and no DDD date. A few posts down. If you filed last week and are on cycle 05 then we should update sometime this weekend and have a DDD of Wednesday Feb 4. A weight was lifted off my shoulders when I figured out this weekly cycle thing :)

I have been using TT for many years and since they started using SBBT. Every year the same thing happens. I get a DDD from the IRS. My money is always there on that day. SBBT will update like the day before normally. The only time I received my DD early was when I used Netspend. Otherwise, I always have my money on the IRS date. I have had late deposits though. Normally no later than noon b/c SBBT is on Pacific time I believe. Hope this helps. Not sure if anything will change this year but I wanted to ease some minds if possible. Oh and I always let TT take the fees out of my return as well. Good luck!

I called and the lady at IPSU asked me all my personal info and said she can mail me my 2014 transcripts. Why cant i view them online? I dont understand.

You have to see a code 846 on your transcripts, this is the indicator that a refund is coming.

For simplicity’s sake, a cycle code is just the group you’re lumped in – then they either get 846’d for a soon refund, or put in a different group for further processing. For many, the lack if health insurance denied them the 846 code, however it is rumored that this just adds 4 days to the cycle.

If you don’t have TC846 on your script you don’t get a refund— yet. 570 isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Last year a TON of ppl had that code because of an IRS glitch. I’d give it until Monday. I have a tax topic 201– I owed back taxes. I’m due a refund, but don’t have a DDD and WMR isn’t even showing the difference. Just a lousy “we applied your refund” notice. I have TC896 on my script as well, but it don’t have 570. Forbes published an article today about the 570. I wouldn’t sweat it. Just give the system a little more time. :)

fall0109, i got the same message this morning when i tried to get my transcripts. So i called the 800 number and waited on hold for 45 minutes. The lady who answered the phone asked me all of my personal info and said she would mail out my 2014 transcripts today. So what does that mean? I didnt say people waiting have done anything wrong. They started processing returns 8 days ago. I understand the frustration, please trust me. Those of you who remember me will remember how awful last year was. I used a diff company other than turbotax for the first time and they entered the wrong babank info so my deposit floated in space for about 3 weeks before the irs issued a paper check. Also liberty tax group whixh is who i used forgot one of my w2’s. I should have caught it but i trusted it was correct. The w2 was in the pile with thoe other 2 so i thought it was entered. Cycle 0402 with transcripts and codes 570 and 896. So does this mean the ddd do not apply to folks in our situation? Funny thing is I get a Native American waiver on health insurance but the marketplace still cannot verify my identity after 2 yrs and photo id copies…. so I pay the offset

Not trying rub this in anyone’s noses, just trying give useful info that may benefit some. I got my refund today at about 4:30. I filed and was accepted 1/24 with only one bar on wmr. I was able to view my transcripts with a cycle date of 20150403 and code 846. Also I’m a netspend user. Actually the deposit was pending since last night at 9pm but never showed on netspend account. The reason for the hold up was because the netspend account is in my girlfriends name so she had to call netspend to authorize it. So if some of you are using someone else’s account to dd then make sure the original cardholder authorizes it. Good luck to you all. I know how frustrating this can be as some of us really depend on this money (I lost my job 1 1/2 months ago so I really needed this). And thank you all for the support and info.
