I had the same thing I had a code 846 and was to get my refund and then changed to code 898 with the non irs debt with the 0 amount to the right and then my whole amount under that. but I know I only own like 1300.00 in debt and my student loans are deferred until 3/2014 so I should still get 4000.00 back … hmmmm totally confused

If it has not been 21 days from the date you are accepted, they IRS are not allowed to look up your account. They actually get dinged on the call if they do. In the IRS manual it actually instructs them to tell you to wait 21 days and basically get you off the phone. That code can take about a week to fall off. Mine transcripts just updated today. When there is something new the IRS always slows down.

I filed on Jan. twenty first, accepted same day and got message that it will be mailed by Feb. third and that is the exact date they mailed it. It has not arrived as of yet but I am praying it comes today-the sixth. I live near Detroit and it is coming from Phil. so hopefully the three days is enough –will update if it comes today

My transcripts updated this morning and they took my entire refund. I have had 846 refund issued for days and not it has I think 898 non irs debt to the right a zero but underneath irs debt it shows the full amount of my refund. I have had an offset before so I know what this means. My refund is gone to pay the Employment Security. I wish I could have got at least a small portion of my refund. Oh well now my debt is paid down. Any way to file a hardship or anything to get any back?

So excited for everyone that has gotten an update. I really hope WMR updates tomorrow with a ddd. I can’t see my trans online so even though I got them thru the mail and can see that they are completely filled out and I have cycle 20150402 with the 896/570 combo just like the rest of you that have had updates, I still won’t feel completely confident that mine updated until I see something online. Heck, with how crazy this tax season has been so far I won’t feel confident until I see my money in the bank!

I had called the IRS earlier today to see why the progress bars and refund amount disappeared and (I already know) she told me I owe back taxes and they will be paid and then remainder of refund will be sent. She did tell me it was pulled for review but no codes that would hold it up besides my past due amount.
Maybe that is why, maybe they are working on our transcripts and when we can log in it will be updated.

I’m tired of waiting and feeling like I’m being held hostage to checking transcripts and WMR and message boards. Why can’t it just be easy. I’m not even desperate for the $ I just hate to not know what’s going on.

I’ve been able to access my transcripts page all morning. I’m a 29’er filer and accepted with no offsets, and only this morning my account transcript became available with 0.00 and ‘no return filed’ and my wage transcript saying the same. I heard they were updating throughout the day but when I went to check again, I get a technical error. Does this mean they are updating? Will I get another update tonight or have to wait until next Friday. None of my previous cycling codes are 05s.

I filed through TT on 1/22/2015 accepted same day less than an hour, I had no progress since then transcripts top two were N/A for 2014 and bottom two account and wage showed up a week after I filed but it was blank with 0s and no return filed, it’s been that way for since Jan 27/28 no change. Then thankfully today my top two were available to view online and it had a cycle code of 20150505 on my return transcript I decided to check my account transcript as well and at that time again say no return filed, so I logged out and checked again around 2 hours later and all my transcripts were updated and my account transcript had the same cycle code with the 846 code refund sent… Now let’s see if WMR will update soon to reflect the transcripts. It was really frustrating not knowing if anything was wrong but thankfully/hopefully it’s correct .

All of my transcripts updated this morning. Early this morning, around 5’ish, I could see all the info filled in on my transcripts and cycle code 20150505 but there wasn’t any refund codes. A few hours later, they updated again and I got code 846 and refund issued. Should see it by Wednesday.

I filed by TT Monday 2 Feb. Both refunds (Fed & Cal) are in the bank (USAA) this morning Friday 6 Feb.
Wow! That was quick. Neither web site show that the refunds have been sent. They both only say the refunds are approved.
It was a normal return. The standard deduction was used. I did include a Schedule C with a good sized loss.

Unfortunately I am in the same stressful situation. I was supposed to have a DDD of the 4th. It never showed up and I realized I left on 1 number for account info. Make sure you call your bank and give them your info and tell them to release the funds. Irs won’t cut your check until they get the money back. My bank said they rejected it on the 5th. I also got a time frame of 4-6 weeks (which is crazy) so I’m right there with yah… got tons of bills to pay and patiently waiting. I swear I could kick myself.

I filed and was accepted on 1/29 (late in day) and on Wednesday this week my bars and amount went missing. I called today to see why and if there was a problem. I do owe taxes from 2011 so I fig that was why. I got a very nice lady on the phone that told me I was being resequenced and after she looked into it she said they pulled it for manual review probably due to the back taxes and the large amount of my return. She did say they will satisfy my past due amount and then will release the remainder of my refund. She also said I should have it within the 21 days as there are no flags on my account and to please call back in the 20th if there is no movement. She said so far there is nothing else holding it up and there are NO holds on my account. Hopefully all works out for everyone here!
Another reason (I think) it could have been pulled is because I filed an adoption credit this year since we finalized our adoption of our daughter this past May. The rep did not think that was or will be an issue for my return.

Sooo there’s hope! I spoke to a very kind lady at the irs this morning who actually looked at my account I did slightly alter the truth by telling her I was accepted on the 16th when it was actually the 20th but she did it so she tells me that she can see that it had been approved and I have a direct deposit date of 02/11 I asked if she thought that wmr was not updating because it still says processing on my end but she said most likely it was approved this morning so it would not show till tomorrow morning. Hopefully everyone will wake up tomorrow with progress on wmr!

@ Rasten I agree. When I do get through to an irs agent I have gotten yelled at told not to call until it has been 21 days. And of i do get someone to pull my info up all they is yes we have your return nothing else. When I asked about a glitch they tell me there is no glitch yet there are lots of us that seem to be stuck. Worst costmerservice I have ever had with any place or company. The 10th will be here before we know it. And I won’t be getting off the phone that day until I have answers. I am just hoping we all here something before then.
