that happen to me last year I was under review the system pick people to review them. I kept getting letters until one day I snapped on a agent after months. I told I needed that money because I ‘m a single parent and he gave me the number to a hardship advocate who then helped me get my money so don’t wait 60 days because those letters are generated after 21 days call the hardship advocate and I promise they will help you. but if you don’t call they will string you along. js!

Similar thing happened to me years ago.

While living with in laws, I claimed both my kids for eic.

It caused an audit because technically the in-laws could have claimed them, even if there was a dispute, they had the right.

The irs set a date, we went and it was so easy because we are poor and have little other than w2.

By then my in laws filed, proving to the irs they had no intention of claiming out kids and then they approved the refund but man it took months to fix.

Please be patient. My file was in the early batch. I filed my taxes with TT on Friday, January 9th and accepted early on Monday, January 12th. I check my WMR bar daily and finally noticed today, Saturday, January 31st that their is a DDD for 2/04/2015. So its coming.

U haven’t gotten a letter or Anything crazy, I claim hh family lives with me younger they don’t work so I claim them. I have my own child as well schedule c haven’t nothing has changed but I keep seeing so many people that are self employed getting pulled with HOH….. Hopefully this isn’t the case but with all of the budget cuts how do they have time to bug all of these people.?!????

I have the same issue and refund amount is what I was expecting. Maybe this has something to do with the aca penalty.

Noone else is claiming them because they have lived with him for 10 months in 2014. They are his nephews and our sister was also living with him. He supported all of them because she did not work before nor after release and she wans him to claim them.

I filled and was accepted on 1/26. I knew I had an offset from 2012. I filled my 2012 taxes right before I filed my 2013 by the hair on my chinny chin I was able to get a refund because it was also my 1st year filing married jointly.. I had gotten married in 2013. I knew that this year they would offset our taxes which is fine. As of yesterday my bars dissapeared and all I see is your refund is being proccessed.. On my account transcript for 2014 I see the cycle 20150404 but when I go into my 2012 transcript I see Code 790 Cycle 20150405 I see that they have cleared up the account with they amount from my refund from this year but No DD date or updates on the 2014 Transcripts or WMR… Could an update be coming soon and do you think I will receive the balance soon??? I have the date of 2-16-2015 all over but I figure thats just the 21 day limit after I originally filed! Any answers would be gratefully appreciated!

I don’t know what’s going on I filed 1-21 per JH self employed with a w2 3 kids which are mines and have claimed them for 5 years..and this nightmare began..stuck on one bar I have been able to pull acct trans since Monday but only shows ooo with head of house hold and at the bottom no refund on file ..I received a letter from examiners office wensday required me to set an appt to review 2013 taxes and schedule c income ..I ask if that could delay 2014 she told me it hasn’t made it to that point yet it could take 3 mos to get to her..ughh but when I called IRS yesterday no offsets and could not give me any info on 14 cause it hasn’t been 3 weeks. I have a code 150 and a few others like eic code I have a cycle number of 20150405 and it says 2-16-2015 but I don’t have a 846 code….. Does this mean I’ll be waiting a while?

Mine was accepted jan 24th 2015. It was saying processing til today. Now it says I’m entering wrong info. I used turbo tax.

I logged into WMR earlier and noticed that my bars had gone missing and I had a generic message that stated “Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.” My refund amount and tax topic 152 was still there as well. What does this mean? Am I under a manual review or is my DDD close. Does anyone know what the answer is?

Cycle codes mean nothing at all. People trying to decipher them… Just stop. No one but the IRS can predict when you will get it.

You may be lucky on some of your “guesses” but The IRS told me that no one can predict when you will get it this year.

It seems that the 570 has been lifted according to a person from the fb group I am in, she went in with her transcript into IRS office in Long Beach and she was told it has been lifted and is back into processing. However, she wasn’t given a definite date for a dd. At least it is progress, I guess.

I now have a DDD for Feb 4nd. That makes me one of the eight day turn-around people.

Filed with TT Jan 27th, accepted within minutes. DDD posted today. I had education credits so expected a long delay. Maybe my luck is getting better. It has been a year from hell, I keep expecting something to go wrong with taxes too.

I filed 1/20 at 5:30pm PST. My return was received at 9:30pm. 1/30 at 11am I checked WRM (iOS app) and still only one bar, however I was able to order and see my return transcripts as of that time. 1/31 at 11am I had two bars with a DDD of 2/4. My cycle date is 20150405. Hope everyone is keeping their heads up, yours will come!

I got the same manual review everyone else is getting. My theory is that they are trying to milk as much interest out of the tax money as they can, so they are stalling.

The issue was fixed by the 26th. So anyone before that date that filed was considered an early filer as well for the ACA thing. Some went through and some didn’t go through. But anyone that filed on or by the 26th is going to be fine. It sucks!

My opinion (just opinion, based on others calls) is that the transcripts wont update but wmr will. They both may not, i just have a feeling wmr will. Because i think we’re basically starting over processing. And considering its only taken a few days for those who filed this week i think we’re almost finished with this mess. Again, just my opinion

@Bart Thanks so much for the info. My transcripts were available yesterday around 1pm, this morning WMR had updated to approved with a DD of 02/04. So, it looks like I skated past that tax obligation for 2013, but they of course got 75% of my refund for the 2012, but I’m glad to have that just over $3,000 IRS debt behind me! I’m so thankful to God that everything seemed to be timed right, because we needed that refund and I’d rather just call and set up a payment plan for 2012!

Finally got a DD today of 02/04 after being able to view transcripts yesterday around 1pm. I’m wondering if anyone has experience of getting their refund to a Walmart money card faster. I know they advertise that it can speed up direct deposits, so here’s hoping. I’m just glad to finally have my WMR update!

I too have the schedule C. Last digits on codes from last 3 yeas are 05. Last year I had 0605. Looks like people getting approved right now are 0405. Just speculating here, but perhaps the schedule C DOES slow it down. Hopefully we’ll be in the next few batches. I don’t know

@s4sh: Yea, it’s kinda funny how broken their system is. I ordered them via mail for 2013 (said neither 2014 were available) no problem, but yet that same information doesn’t work for the online registration. I supposed I SHOULD be able to get an idea (while waiting for a letter maybe!?) on the progress of the return when I can order the 2014 ‘scripts via mail at least, right?

Ok I went backed and looked I have codes 901,702,601 the past three years always on a Friday always towards the end of the opening batches… So if it’s acorrelation I would say it’s there. Could be wrong but that is three years in a row I’m also schedule c so I know it’s a few extra steps to make sure your numbers add up which is why it’s always been later..

The code could have been lifted. We could just be re processing. But if transcripts aren’t updating we aren’t goong to know until money hits. Even if we just went back into processing yesterday it should only be a couple more days.

@pugtor: Darn. Was hoping it was something easy like what happened to me. They dropped off the “Ave” from my street address this year, began processing and had me thrown for a loop until I realized it. Have you tried calling the IRS about your transcripts to see if your 2014 is available? I know some folks have had luck with that & apparently luck with IRS agents giving them status updates.
