I was able to get only my account transcript nailed for 2014 but the refund one still says unavailable. I filed and it was accepted on Jan. 30th. Does being able to see account transcript mean hopefully refund soon?
My refund was deposited last night to my netspend account, but I have yet to receive my card in the mail. Anyone else have this problem?
I have a offset will it delay my refund my refund was for today I owe less than what my refund amount is. IRS said they sent it. The treasury department says they haven’t received anything and the agency said that it could take 6 weeks to get my remaining refund wtf?

Hello I am just frustrated to say the least filed the 6th accepted the 13th had one bar tax topic 152 until this Friday just past and now no bars just says it’s processing and refund date will be available or something. I can’t order transcripts cause it says wrong info. I can’t even call and talk to a rep cause my zip code is wrong supposedly. Anyways my return is the same as last years so I’m stressing. My acceptance code has a 201501 on it. So confused about what’s going on. Anyone in the same boat?
It is so crazy, Turbotax has no submission or confirmation ID. I’ve read where other ppl have called them requesting this info but Turbotax has no idea what it is?!
I hope so! I’m anxious to see some movement. Filed and accepted 1/23 and nothing since then. Just big fat 000’s on the transcript. I hate wishing for time to go by faster but suspense is killing me. Not sure why since $$ is going into savings anyways, but darnit, I want it!! :)
@denise – I am beginning to see that trend. It happened to me last year as well.
I apologize if my comments were a bit rough. I thought Dr. Howard was trolling through here and was not really here to help. New intel or ideas is appreciated. My frustration with the situation reached my keyboard and my hands got carried away. I hope we all see our transcripts with approval code updates tomorrow and money friday.

On my acceptance email from tax act , this is getting frustrating
I filed and was accepted on 1/23 and my status still says this:
Refund Status
We have received your return and it is being processed. No further information is available at this time.
Crap I’m in the same boat and I filed with tax act on 1/29 …. Ok seems tax act is giving out lots of dead cycles
Where did you find your submission number? Who did you file with?
@clemsonhistory I wasn’t referring to you at all with that comment. I apologize if it seemed that way. Sharing ideas and opinions probably isn’t getting anyone closer to their money, but neither is constant complaining and making snarky comments to people who do have an opinion. (Again, this is not directed at you). :)

That’s my submission ID so does that mean I’m in the dead cycle ? And my old transcripts ends in 05 so does that mean I’m just double screwed?
Seriously this is annoying seeing everyone file after me and getting movementSame issue, but I don’t know when mine was accepted, I probably should have asked, I just know it *was* accepted…

Yeah, that’s what we get for electing democrats. That was a bad idea. I didn’t vote that way btw, lol. I didn’t like voting for McCain or Romney either. There just aren’t reasonable people in politics anymore. We all could have insurance if it were cheaper, and there is a way to make it cheaper. It’s called tort reform and allowing insurance companies to compete across state lines. Anywho… politics prob isn’t a good mix for the stress that’s going on, so I’ll keep my dumbness to myself.
Also, I didn’t mean people shouldn’t voice opinions either. I’m saying it’s good that we all do. I just tape my fingers together when I get on here, and just read lol. I only mean to be observant, not inciting arguments.

call IRS on 2/2 said he didn’t see my returns for 2014 at 1st and then said to call back FridayI talked to the irs this morning I was told that the aca is holding up accounts they send it from one system to another and it can take up to 4 days for the system to catch up so if you had to pay that from your return that is why some of us are still waiting I was also told in my case that the hold should end today and update over night so for those of us that are in day 15 or longer that could change over night. I do not know how correct he was but instead of putting me on hold he stayed on the line while he researched so I do think he was telling me accurate information
Yes. doc 2013 and I were playing around yesterday… got to do sometihing to pass time…. We all have our guesses on what’s going on. No one really knows at all whwn we will get it. Just trying to joke around to stay sane…. yes I did join the group… Holy cow there alot of ppl on that sight…. I can’t believe the goberment is making this many ppl wait… I can’t believe a congressman hasn’t done something about it.

I also filed with turbo taxI thought my Acceptance was 1/29, but after speaking with live IRS person, Acceptance was 2/2.
Turbo Tax and WMR both said sent and accepted 1/29.
However live person said it arrived Monday!I did have filing fees deducted from return via Turbo Tax Bank.
Waiting for DDD!Looking for info from all filers.

Hey, Bart!! Still no update. I’m still sitting on full transcripts. I do have the healthcare penalty, but no freeze code. My 2011 debt is paid per transcript. Do you think I’m being resequenced? My cycle code is 20150402 and I was accepted by the irs on 1/21. I’m hoping they don’t forget about me. What do you think the hold up could be? WMR isn’t even showing a difference. It just says my refund has been applied to a past due tax obligation. They wouldn’t keep it, would they?

Dead Cycles – A Week Counter
Definition- ECC-MTB Posting Cycles during which MASTER FILE postings do not occur.
No data is lost. The delay in posting is solely related to start-up for the yearly changes to the Master Files.
For BMF, there are two dead cycles each year. For 2015, they are ECC-MTB Posting Cycles 201501 and 201502. BMF transactions that are sent from the campus locations during GMF Campus Production Cycles 201501, 201502, and 201503 will attempt to post to the BMF during ECC-MTB Posting Cycle 201503.
For IMF, there are three dead cycles each year. For 2015, they are ECC-MTB Posting Cycles 201501, 201502, and 201503. IMF transactions that are sent from the campus locations during GMF Campus Production Cycles 201501, 201502, 201503, and 201504 will attempt to post to the IMF during ECC-MTB Posting Cycle 201504.
Most campus processing can continue during the dead cycles. Just as with Accelerated Cycles, the majority of the impact is on Master File processing at ECC-MTB.
@macygray: If we’re always weekly, and we’re 04/05’s and we don’t see anything tonight/tomorrow, I guess we can all assume we’ll be hitting that 21-day “magic number” to where IRS agents can actually “help”, eh? Personally, I’m already going with the intention that 6 more days and I’ll be on the phone, yet again, HOPEFULLY actually getting answers.
I don’t think we’ve ever been over the 2 week mark before we seen any sort of update, so we shall see what tonight/tomorrow holds.

It sucks doesn’t it. What we “know” really is just speculation… That’s why we have these sites. It’s funny, the people who created this site and the #club570 administrators all think we’re on to something each time there’s new “evidence.” Nope, we’re in limbo until it goes through. But, it does help us get by. I get excited every time I see new information, go research it, then go back to being mad, lol. Really, “researching” in real life is systematically identifying, and backing it with solid evidence. None of us can get solid evidence without being able to see the IRS computers. It blows… Did you join the dramatic Facebook group? People are funny, it’s starting to get into everyone fussing at each other without really fussing at each other. Just blunt quick comebacks, lol. It’s going to get worse before it’s over. You can’t put a bunch of people together like that, with that much tension to begin with, and expect happy results.

@drhoward or whatever you are…whered you pull that update time from? Your last reply basically said the same thing we all knew…that returns take 21 days from date of acceptance…i dont see how you can say we will see updates by 11:59:59 considering updates come over night..as in after midnight. I am sure its safe to say people want facts and not your off opinions. Months and months ago many articles were written predicting a delay in taxes for people with these codes. What i cant understand is how they didnt develop the software and processes needed to get us our return in the same time frame as the other people who filed at the same time or even after us who have their returns already. There are NO real answers on this issue…NO ONE with the codes 570/896 ACA hold will get a direct answer. We are stuck here to worry till poof the money shows up one day. So because our government cant give us real answers to a large number of people with the same issue, i really worry. Regardless if im still inside the 21 days or not. When the government plays dumb and cant offer answers is when i worry…
Hi everyone,
I’ve just been lurking for the past week, but I’m in the same boat as a lot of you (896/570, 20150402) and just wanted to share what I’ve learned. I’ve spoken to no less than six representatives since I found out about this problem last week and have gotten a little closer to an answer with each call. On my last call, I was finally transferred to a representative who was trained in the Affordable Care Act (or so said the representative who transferred me). After looking through my account and return, this is what he told me:
1. First of all, I had filed my return correctly, and it was FULLY processed. They did not need anything more from me (no notices sent), and the refund was simply waiting to be sent out. My hold was STRICTLY related to my health care penalty. (Two other representatives had told me the same thing earlier, but they could not explain the hold.) IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER ISSUES WITH YOUR RETURN, THE REST CANNOT BE APPLIED TO YOU.
2. The hold was due to the fact that the full refund (that is, without the penalty) needed to be paid out by the IRS, the penalty payment transferred to the Marketplace, and then the rest sent to me. It could not be treated as an offset taken by the IRS.
3. I did, in fact, miss the 01/30 deposit date for my cycle, so in a sense, there was a delay, but he said he was certain that I’d get my refund before the 21-day mark. My payment was applied on the 26th, so he said I MIGHT get my refund Friday the 6th, but most likely, it’ll be Monday the 9th or possibly Wednesday the 11th (my 21-day mark). He said that they’re depositing Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
4. If, for some reason, I don’t get it on or before the 11th (again, my 21-day mark), I need to call them, because at that point, they have to tell Services that the 21-day expiry is up and that they either need to release the refund or send a notice.
That’s pretty much all I know at this point. The representative sounded knowledgeable (he said that he knew most representatives didn’t know what was going on with the ACA), but only time will tell. I, too, am tired of getting my hopes up, but it’s good when a somewhat consistent picture starts to emerge. If you’d like to call for yourself, I highly suggest the following approach:
1. Call the Holds Department at 866-897-3315. You will likely get a live representative very quickly after listening to the automated message (don’t worry about what it says).
2. Tell them that you have a hold on your refund (no need to go into detail). They will ask you questions about your account and pull it up.
3. At this point, they will need to transfer you, because they will see that the department is not responsible for the hold (unless you have some other hold, of course). The point, however, is that they’ve verified the hold on your refund. Two of my representatives even noted my account before transferring me.
4. You’ll then be transferred to Customer Service and will no doubt need to wait. However, once you get a live rep, tell them that you were transferred from the Holds Department because you have a hold on your refund but the Holds Department is not responsible for the hold. The representative will then take your information and look at your account, and you can proceed from there.
The important thing is that you make it clear that you know there is a hold on your refund (as already verified by the Holds Department) and that your transcript shows the correct refund amount that needs to be released, but a 570 code is preventing the release. Some representatives will be surprised to learn that you have your transcript, so make sure that you let them know that you can see all of this.

Yes I have 20150503 cycle date with a code 846 and I filed and was accepted the night of 01/31.
I also have the dead cycle code and used TaxAct filing on 1/28. What exactly does all that mean.

So odd, I’ve searched everywhere. It just tells me “accepted” and when I pull my efile details it just tells me the time and date of when I filed and when I was accepted (which was 8:03pm on 1/29)The ky website finally started working & update. Said deposit has been authorized for the next 10 days. :)
My transcript says NO record of 2014 tax return.. why is that? I filed on the 21st of January & was excepted in mins. But I have not been approved. Only have one bar on wmr. What does this mean? What do I do?
