I am expecting my deposit onto my walmart money card by morning and am scared and worried to death because of all the reviews about “holds” on their refund and I am a new cardholder just recieved it and activated it a few days ago I used to have a card before and used it for a few years and never had a problem before but that was when it was with GE and now it is green dot I need this money badly or I will be out on the streets is anyone else having this problem? my landlord is expecting rent and the past rent I owe him I wish someone will help me shed some light on this because I called them last night and the lady I talked to said she doesnt see any problems and people must be getting held for a reason? I am so stressed its sickening!!! thanks people!

I files 1/17 accepted 1/20 wmr first bar. Just learned about the transcripts and the cycle 20150402 codes 150 806 766 768 896 570. I have heard nothing from anyone. filed with Jackson Hewitt, Am I a weekly, am I a daily, home page says cycle code 20150402 got ddd 1/30 I got nothing please please please help

So checked again today and this was the message I received on the website: Your return has been processed; however, your refund was approved for a different amount or has not been approved.

So I will call tomorrow and see what the “different amount” is that it’s referring to. As long as I get the deposit not to worried about the amount of the refund as I am receiving federal which is significantly higher. Oklahoma definitely has issues, when I first moved here from Texas it took almost 7 months to get my state refund from Oklahoma! Last year I moved, so I can only imagine that this is the issue with Oklahoma, heaven forbid you move and they can’t verify your address or something!

Update coming once I call or receive the deposit.

On the IRS website it’s states there’s some kind of delay with the system tonight so it looks like updates will not be happening at the time we thought. You might want to check back in the morning (those of you that first saw your transcripts blank last Thurs/Fri). Sheryl you will have to wait a week from the date you first saw your 2014 transcripts blank with 0’s. That has been the pattern or was, but it seems after tonight there may be more delays since the IRS seems to be screwing up things left and right.

My taxes were accepted on 1-21, and I still have only one bar. I checked my transcript and it said something about refund on 1-30, but no refund.. it’s been almost 2 weeks, still trying to wait patiently. Maybe the delay has something to do with the healthcare penalties..

Same here filed on 1/23 with taxslayer. Accepted within half an hour I’m a 05 weekly stuck on 1 bar, with 000 on the transcript. But from what I’ve read 05 should update tonight HOPEFULLY. Good luck

@Travanti so if we call that number and tell them that wmr now shows no bars they’ll help us instead of the generic “wait 21 days then call back” Answer? Does all the bars missing signify that there’s some sort of problem with your return? I don’t have the 570 code or any other code at this point. My return was filed and accepted on 1/23. My confirmation number has the 201502 cycle code in it but I’m not sure I understand what that means exactly.

20150502 with the 846 code and a 2/6/15 DDD’s
0700 pacific 1\5 SBTPG has refund and deducted turbo tax fees. Then sent remaining refund balance to my Chase account.
Chase usualy post direct deposites to my account at 0237 eastern time. That should be tonight 1/5 at 1137 pacific time for me.

JD no the reason you can’t see the transcriots is because u just aren’t finished processing… Ur ss is what irs uses to updat files not ur filing status… The filing status is just the tax bracket info… So when transcripts for u update they will be posted to the account you signed up with under ur ss

Previous years my wife and I filed Married Filing Jointly, but this year I filed Married Filing Separately. When I went to view transcripts, it would not let me in when I selected MFS, so I registered an account with my SSN and MFJ so I could get in… Well, my transcripts still say N/A (filed/accepted 1/22 and bars missing).

My question is, are my transcripts not viewable because I filed separately? Do I have to get them another way?

@1/28’er sounds like we have a lot in common! First time filing as a student, filed 1/29 with Turbotax and accepted same day. One bar on WMR, no offsets, transcripts N/A except for wage which reads ‘no record of return filed’. My previous years were 20140601, 20130604, 20120404.

Only 9:30 p here in Texas but I checked anyway. Still nothing. No return transcript and wage only reads no record of return…I’m a 0605 for 2013 and 2012 years and a 0703 for 2011 tax year. Got my deposit last year on the 11th of February and the previous year received it on the 12th. Can anyone explain this to me? From what I read, it doesn’t sound like that jives. Thanks and good luck to anyone who gets a DDD!

I filed 1/28 MFJ, education credit (first time) and a first time filer with HRB online. In the past, I’ve always taken my taxes in but couldn’t see paying $200 + for something I could do myself for $20 and some pocket change! Maybe that’s the holdup!

gettingimpatient there really isnt anything you can do but wait unless u find away to get a copy of your transcripts or get a letter…

Carrie offset letters are only sent after they take the money… if u call the offset hotline and it says you dont have an offset then no the that is not the delay unless u go into collections… the n/a is your just not done processing,,, u have to wait so ur in a delay thats all for now

justasking no u should not be worried this happens sometimes where the system kicks out the return do to a glitch and then someone manually has to put it back in… this is what takes time there are so little people to handle so many returns

hollyb no no no they have to show the offset and no irs would not be able to catch the w2 and stock options until after the filing season so i would just wait and see and get the refund chase to happen…. see what account the money went into and why…

scaredaboutmyrefund yes that could delay the return because of that…. but most likely not because your company has to send them the correct one 2 and they would have sent u a letter telling u owed…

justmy3cents yes really i hate to say wait but there are certain things u have to wait… example like bill situation u have to wait for the received by date for refund before u can do something.. if you cant access transcripts then u have to wait for a letter or WMR update,,, if you have a 570 freeze and have no clue why you have to wait for the letter or it to be removed ,,, the IRS agents are to lazy to tell you what they see…..

bill i have seen it say sent before then people not get it and on the day after the by date WMR updates saying a new date and or tax obligations when somewhere else… the reps cant see that only back end processors can see that

Accepted 1/21. Yesterday when I checked, it finally stated that my DD was authorized. I checked again and it says that no information was found.

But either way, good news: I have a pending deposit on my Cash Card and my money is to be disbursed on Monday (02/09/15). I imagine some of you other folks will be receiving it by then also.

Account Now (or Bancorp Bank) as of 9:55 pm EST shows a pending deposit from H&R Block that says the amount and the expected post date of 2/6. Then it reads “We have received notice that this account will receive an electronic deposit. Deposits should be posted by 6 am Central time on the date listed above. Customer Service will not have any more information available until the following business day.”
So help me, please be there first thing in the am. And by god, this is the last year I utilize that card. I just read my agreement and this card is outrageous fees! $1.00 PER TRANSACTION. Oh and to top it off, they will not let you transfer to a different bank. Awesome. I’ll be pulling my money out one by one. EFFERS

I filed on 2/2 with TT, both state and federal accepted. On Wednesday checked Ohio WMR, had manual review message. Checked today around 9 am had refund being held for an offset ( I have only lived in Ohio a year and do not owe any one money). Wasn’t able to get through to the AG office, just checked WMR again and got this:

Your refund check was issued on: 02/04/2015. Please allow 7 to 10 business days from the mail date for delivery. If you have not received your refund and it has been more than 30 days since the mail date, please call us at 1-800-282-1780 or e-mail us to initiate a trace.

I filed with direct deposit, still no date on my federal. Any one else have this happen?

I truly don’t know how accurate the 11PM update is. I know they do their system updates usually between 3am-6am, so I would wait until after 6am and more likely 7am EST.

Okay so you should get your refund by that date, but most likely the week before according to some other sources. So, Feb. 9th, possibly sooner depending on your bank :-)

That is similar to how mine works. I remember that I usually get a Saturday update, but last year it was Sunday which threw me off, but since they are doing updates nearly all day Saturday and Sunday now-a-days that may be why. But just like you I always have a Wednesday deposit and my husband has too even prior to our marriage. I believe my usual wait time is around 10-11 days, but one year it was nearly 3 weeks because of the student form delays. Thanks for sharing your experience, I know it will keep hope for those that may not see anything tomorrow :-)

The first 4 numbers are the year.
The next two after that are the week of the year (06 = 6th week) and the last two are the day.
01 – Thursday

I checked my wmr on 2/4 and my bars were gone and just says it is still being processed. I check online at my transcripts and there is a cycle code of 20150504 and it says 846 refund and refunded 2/23/2015. This is all new to me so what does it all mean. Also since my bars went away would my transcript be more accurate? What I was reading was that tgethe cycle code is year then how many weeks into the year then day of the week, 01 being friday. If this is all true wouldn’t the cycle code mean a ddd of 2/4/2015? How is everyone coming up with 2/10/2015. Thank you for any insight to this!

Hello BURT!

I filed and was accepted 1/20. My bars went away 2 days after being accepted. WMR just says its being processed and no tax topic. I was just able to sign up for transcripts (once I got the address correct) but then I had to call IRS for Identity Theft (I got the error message). So I called them and the rep says there is no identity theft, but that my account is being reviewed/processed. However, WMR & TurboTax do not reflect this and I have no received a letter. Do you think I’m just in the pile of people that are unlucky and are getting put on the back burner and have to wait or should I be worried about a lengthy review? What is the turn around time for receiving a letter from the IRS when there is an issue? Thanks so much ! :)

Transcripts update daily for IMF processing. However they post in the evenings as transaction posting ends at 9PM on weeknights. That’s when you usually start seeing updates though from what I’ve seen it happens at 10 PM.

Thursday night however is different in the fact that transaction posting ends at 10 PM on thursday nights. Thus we might not see a lot of updates happen until around 11 if this week is anything to go by.

@IRSWoes: From what I understand, you only owe money back if you didn’t give an accurate amount on your income when you signed up for the marketplace… at least that’s what I was hoping for. Otherwise, an epic amount of people are going to be extremely pissed off that their refund suddenly goes to $0 because they have to repay that “loan” every year…

Weekly here. My return always takes from 14-19 days. For the last several yrs (at least 6) this is how it has worked for me… I wake up to an update on Saturday morning that tells me refund approved and scheduled for dd, if not received by (always gives a date 2 Tuesdays away) to contact them. Then on the following Wednesday it updates a second time to tell me it will be dd on Friday, 2 days from then, and I’ve never had it deposit, ever, on any other day than Friday as scheduled. Last year is the first time I pulled transcripts and they did indeed update real time noon est on the Friday right before the updates. Filed 1/29 expecting an update this Sat morn.
