Florida 570 freeze won’t be lifted until the freeze error is fixed typically as long as it’s not a audit id verify or wage verification it’s around 4 days…. The 2/16 date is the projected release date for refund “projected” being the case hence why some get it earlier and some will get it a week later

msg Online ones are 1-2 days slower SOMETIMES than being able to order them wait till this weeken is over

I’ve been lurking on here for a few days, I filed on 1/19 and was accepted on 1/20. I was not able to see any transcripts until today, I still have one bar on wmr and no ddd. When I checked my previous years transcripts I realized that I am an 05er. I have a small offset and I called the offset hotline to see if it was still there…. As of today, the debt has been paid and the recording said that the payment came from my refund dated for 2/4, which is Wed. Hope this helps someone.

Yes unfortunately my refund was deposited at 12noon but have yet to post on my card I spoke with a human and she said they are having some delay problem and couldn’t tell me how long it will be just someone’s working on it I’m so frustrated this will definitely be my last time dealing with them …..but I am so glad u started this post becuz I thought it was just me and I’m in TX.

@shenderz – Yep. DDD of 2/4, but should get it Monday or Tuesday (2/2 or 2/3). The 2/16 thing is basically meaningless to us. It has no bearing on your deposit date.

Same exact thing happened to us. They claimed its because we didn’t check savings or checking but still it set my state up for dd with savings selected. TT blamed me but didn’t pay attention to the fact that state is going to be the way I wanted. Double check your tax forms to see if your state shows you dd info.

I filed and was accepted on 1/15 and Where’s My Refund still says processing return while people who filed on 1/23 have gotten their refund already and I’m very frustrated. any help?

My son received his GA state refund today and he filed on 01/24 accepted on 01/24.
I filed and was accepted on 01/27 and when I try to check status with GA it doesn’t even recognize my information at all.
I filed a friend’s taxes on 01/26 and they are expecting a refund with South Carolina. They have received a DDD of 02/04.

The irs agent you spoke with failed to give you the most important piece of information, which is if you have nothing nice to say, just keep your mouth shut. That was plain rude.

Question:

Does the date beside code 896 & 570 represent the date that it will be released, or is it typically four days?

My transcript shows a cycle date if 20150405. If I read correctly I should get updated tonight and get a DDD of 2/4/2015, correct.?
I have a 846 refund issued on transcript but it gives a date of 2/16/2015. Does this make a difference on the DDD?

I can’t figure out how to start a new topic to ask a question. I am hoping someone will read this and help me out. I am so stressed out right now I really want to cry!

I filed and was accepted on 1/27. I did have one bar on ‘WMR’ with tax topic 152. Today I checked ‘WMR’ and the entire bar area is missing. I just get the standard message about processing 21 days…. I read many post saying that is not a bad thing and I should expect progress soon ‘DDD’.

I decided to go ahead and try to order my return transcripts and was able to view them online. However, my refund amount has -XXXX.XX. Then I can’t remember the exact wording but I think it says my balance is 0.00!!!! How can I have a negative refund amount? Are they saying that I owed them this money and am receiving nothing? I don’t see how that could be possible.

I’m worried because for years I filed married filing joint. However, now I’m not married and have filed “HOH” with my children. Is it possible that my ex-husband owes some debt and my refund has been taken to cover his debt since I would also be liable if it were due to some unknown error on a prior years return? My federal refund amount is $7821.00 I do not owe any debt like this, but I don’t know about my ex’s financial situation is anymore. I am dying because I have 4 children with him and I support them 100% on my own.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! And I apologize for hijacking this thread.

Update…
I read that code 570 has a date beside it and that date represents when an additional action will take place on your account.

I checked, and mine says Feb 16.

Notable though is that the payment for 896 also has that date beside it.

Bart told me 896 has to be manually input, so it looks like that is the date the payment will be applied to the account and refund approved.

Check your transcript and report your dates so we can confirm this hypothesis.

Called hotline twice and no offsets, and when I check all my past transcripts it doesn’t show any tax balance due ir owed to them, my transcript just shows continually was it due to me.. Just no 846….. LOL

RANDY… I already knew I had an offset from student loans. The offset hotline phone # is 800-304-3107. It will tell your friend if there is anything that will take some or all of it. In my experience it would have shown up on the offset hotline by now.

Just a little update. Got off the phone with a wonderful gentleman at the IRS……..Turbo tax is reporting that my income tax got accepted on January 12. But that is NOT the case. My return was actually accepted on January 15th!!!! WTF he said they have received it and it is being processed and that NO returns were processed until January 20th at all. Just thought you early tt filers should know this and now understand how we got delayed this far along. Chime in if you have any new news. Thanks

Was the offset listed on the hotline prior, or did it just show up? A friend has been calling hotline daily and nothing is listed. His account transcripts are available and doesn’t show an offset. He is nervous about it hitting now that refund has been approved. Thanks.

So, last year I started getting my wages garnished from student loans, but only my wages. Never got any notice about a refund being offset. Though, I was still worried it might happen. We moved, and have had mail going to at least three different addresses, so it is possible that a notice did go out to another location and I never knew about it.
So, I called the offset hotline and was informed, by the automated system, that no offset is present but that they can update daily if requests come in.

After moving and going through some extreme hardships last year, it is extremely important that we get our refund this year. Does anyone have insight onto the reliability of the IRS offset automated system? Is it safe to assume that if they don’t have a garnishment on request now that likely they will not before I get my refund?

Has anyone had experience, good or bad, with this?

Want to know for myself, and so that we can help possible put others minds to ease.

Bill your transcripts will update when the money is released to pay the debt and again when it’s release to your bank

It may actually be before then. When I called they said it would come out of my refund for 2/2/15 but it has already been sent to sbbt and released to my bank today.

JH Preferred Card holders are completely out of luck. The bank JH is using in my area is American Tax Processing (855-875-9706). They have received and released my refund but JH Preferred card has not loaded it. I cannot get a human, but by checking JH’s Facebook page I found out that there is a glitch or compromise in their system. All JH preferred cards are locked. They are saying 24-48 hours to clear this up. Let’s keep each other updated.

I have the same cycle date. I filed my taxes using HRB on 1/22 and accepted the same day. I wasn’t able to order transcripts until early this morning…and when logging into my NFCU account to check to see how much money I would have for the weekend, I saw that I had a pending deposit dated for 2/3 (funds available the next day) from the IRS. WMR hasn’t even updated for me….

Also don’t be alarmed if you only have an “account transcript” I checked this morning and that was the only one I was able to pull but I checked back a few moments ago and now have a 2014 “return transcript” as well. I do show an 846 code as well that says “refund issued” Also if any of you are wondering, I filed on 1/24 and was accepted 1/24. Still no updates on WMR but from what I hear as long as I am able to pull my transcripts for 2014 that my refund is on its way any day. I’m hoping this is the case. I have been trying for days to pull the transcript and had nothing until today. Hopefully all of us who are in line waiting, will hear something soon!! Good Luck everyone!!

My bank account (navy fed) finally shows mine as a pending deposit for 2/3/15. No second bar, just transcripts. So hopefully all us with 20150405 will get our refunds between today and the 4th :)

Hello I am unable to view my transcripts online but i called over the phone and today they finally finished processing. Since i can not view it am unsure of what code i have.
My question is i used turbo tax. I did not have health care i checked the box that i filed for an exemption and have not heard back yet….. will they penalize me? Did any of you also use TT and check the filed for exemption and have not heard back and receive the 896 code? Thanks for all your help

I also have the 20150405 cycle date code and I am being told that I should have it on the 5th if not before. Hope this is the case. Still sitting at the first bar on wmr. Also the irs app. Checked my bank account, nothing there as well as the sbb nothing there yet as well. From my understanding it will get sent to sbb (santa barbra bank? I believe that’s what its called?) before it gets sent to your bank account. You can check the sbb site as well and it will let you know if they have any information on you. Hope this helps.
