I just looked at the GREENDOT faqs and the only mention of anything taking 2-3 days is for a standard bank transfer, which is where: you enter your bank information on the greendot site, they verify your bank account (Chase, BOA, Etc.) and then you can have money transferred from your account at your bank to your Greendot card directly. They said THIS takes 2-3 business days, but I HIGHLY doubt they hold ACH transfers for that long because I have always had my work DDDs immediately and my state refund came through immediately.

If it makes anyone feel better, I had no fees taken out of my refund because I have a hard copy of TT. Filed 1/09 accepted the first day 1/12 got a DDD of 1/30 and the money is not in my BofA account yet either, so fee or no fee BofA is slow.

@BartD: Accepted by IRS on 01/21/2015. No updates since. No transcripts. No weird tax codes. I don’t know how accurate the cycle codes are but for the past two years, mine has been 20141203 (because I filed late) and 20130603. Any ideas when I should be able to see my transcripts and get a DDD?

2 years ago I had a fraudulent return filed in my name. Big mess. I had to send in a paper return which I still haven’t gotten any info about. Last year I did not receive any money until May. In January I got a letter in the mail from the IRS ssaying I owed money from the fraud return. I went to the IRS office and got everything squared away. I filed this year on the 19th. I was accepted on the 20th and 2 days later my bar’s disappeared. I have no transcripts and no amount on WMR! Am I going to wait until May again this year? Does a missing amount definitely mean that the amount will change? I added a pin this year so does that make it go faster? Should I not count on a fast resolution? I still have TT 152. Is that good? Good Afternoon, I filed on the 19th and got accepted on the 20 and I have only the 1st bar on wmr. I tried to order my transcripts and it show n/a for 2014. So now i’m going out of my mind. My friend did hers on the 20th and she was accepted on the 21st and shes getting her damn money tomorrow 1/30. She text me @ 3am saying her bar on the wmr had moved to the 2nd 1 and if she doesn’t have it by 2/4 then call them. Every year I’ve always filed early and got my cash back early. I know the irs is low on staff but really people who have filed days after me have their money or they are about to receive their money! smh

I filed on 1/16 early in the morning through hr block. Accepted 21st, still no ddd. I really think hr block must be the reason as most of my employees did turbo tax and did theirs after me. Two of three already have ddd. No more hr block business from me.

I owed in 2010 and filed them in 2013. That put me on a 05/weekly cycle (I can see older T’s but like the most of us here, not this years…)I suppose based on everything I read here. That’s fine, but oh boy, if I don’t see some form of update by Monday I’m scared they’re up to some trickery….

Hi All,

After reading some more on the IRS publication on processing timelines for the past hour (http://www.irs.gov/irm/part3/irm_03-030-123r.html), I found that since we are on weekly processing that all files will be submitted to them today and will start to be processed after 5pm tonight. They state that this should be completed by 6am. They then have 4 days to deposit the funds. Times are in EST

However, if their computer receives any errors for posting delay, you will be recycled for the next weekly posting date. Hope this is true and we all can view our transcripts tomorrow morning and we receive our DD next wednedsay.

As to why we are on weekly cycle instead of daily: 1) Their computer checks us 3 times in the past year to determine if we are eligible for daily. There is a list of criteria that probably doesn’t apply to most of us (ie..installment payments, criminal activity..etc..) 2) We have always been on a weekly cycle before 3) Some of us were daily before (that was me) but this year, your file was batched to weekly instead of daily (I think this is random). They state that even if your return is flagged as daily when you submit your tax return, but you are sent to weekly to the weekly batch, it does not change and you default to weekly.

Hope this helps answer some questions and we all wake up to transcripts tomorrow and DDD on Saturday/Sunday and DD on Wednesday.

If this is true, I will post tomorrow morning when I can see my transcripts. Let us know if you are able to view them tomorrow

Making this thread for people to assist in updating when they receive or received deposit to their banks. For last year or this year, for example I got a text at 8:05 from Republic Bank saying it was sent to my account. I checked now at 10:14 and still nothing. Could someone tell me about what time they got the refund in their account last year? Was it the same day the bank released it?

someone on another thread on Facebook/Greendot is saying that she spoke with a greendot rep who told her that when they receive the deposit they hold it for 2 business days. I’m hoping this is completely false, why do ppl try to scare others? Based on everyones experience here I’ve heard Greendot posts as soon as the deposit is received. Im sure the same with Netspend, Blue, Vanilla, Rush, etc.

vanessa yes moving can delay ur refund, yes there are stages first stage checks basic info (returned accepted) then it goes to more stages checks incomes then credits. after that math errors. then goes to final checks and then post to master file (refund date), if their is an error or its flagged then return is stopped has to be manually fixed and the stage 2 starts all over,

You got further in the process than I did. The IRS rep I spoke to wouldn’t look anything up or do anything for me saying they won’t do anything for 3 weeks. Did your rep tell you why you got that message or what it means? The rep I spoke to make it sound like it was an error message because my info isn’t in the system yet. I’m not sure I buy that though because other people have gotten messages saying they can’t view their transcript and that would seem to be a more logical error message. My rep didn’t offer to send me transcripts and sounded irritated I dared to call when 3 weeks hadn’t transpired.

Victim of ID theft twice. I have been issued an IP pin for the 4 years. Last year I was able to see transcript on line to see cycle posting but per Identity blah blah unit will no longer be able to because of ID flag. SOOOOOO of course I’m a weekly and the only way to see progress is WMR which I’m hoping will update Saturday.

Just checked SBBT, they have my money. Last year they did not release my funds to my card until 3 pm Pacific Standard Time. The year before that it was around 10 am Pacific Standard Time. I am confident that anyone who sees money in their SBBT account will see funds sometime this afternoon.

I am hoping that we have it today since for most Greendot, Netspend, Etc. ACH deposits post immediately and they post all throughout the day and some even deposit ACH in real time. It is just gonna depend on how long it takes to bounce around and finally get to its destination. It would be really awesome to have it before the end of business today. I have Wal-Mart Money Card (Which goes through GreenDot) and I know that my state return was sent out from state between 12-3 AM and I received it at like 10-11 AM. Here’s to hoping! :)

Hello Bart,

I filed using TT ,accepted on 16th. I had education credits on my refund.I also had a substantial refund amount not counting the education credits.
If IRS decides not to grant the credits will I recieve remaining(non education credit) refund on time. Its been 2 weeks almost. No 2014 transcripts accept for Wage and Income thats blank. Also I moved address so I filed with a new address on my 1040.

I’m still seeing one bar on wmr. Nothing new at sbtpg website state updated to say approved and unemployment their money and my refund will be issued on the 3rd. I hate how this state works. I asked why unemployment gets their cut 6 days before I get mine when it is my money? She didn’t really have an answer other than ” it could take up to four weeks before unemployment acknowledges they received the money” I honestly don’t care it still doesn’t seem fair so this year I’m going to plan out my taxes so I don’t receive a refund or pay in giving them a free loan all year for them to pick when they pay it back is kinda bs. @shareel 02: I was told you won’t be able to access transcripts online at all once you have that ID theft indicator, 2 reps told me that, not sure how accurate but I know I can’t access mine. No this is the first time I have ever received that message. I have never ever had a theft issue. In fact the third time I called the number the rep laughed and would not even look up my account because he said he has been getting SO MANY calls from people saying they received that message when accessing transcripts and even though it does then put indicator on, if you have never had an issue then it means nothing. He was even frustrated by it.

Bart., I am getting scared. I have called twice and to no avail. The ladies were not helpful. TAlked about the 21 days. Now is that 21 days from when I filed, which was the 13th, or 21 days from the 20th? I’m just wondering if something is wrong, but I didn’t receive anything from the IRS stating that I owed anything. I keep calling the Offset line and it shows no debts. I don’t know what else to do, except wait. It’s just frustrating but I will also use this as a learning lesson. Transcripts still show no refund filed with February 16th date and no amounts at all.

So I was able to access my transcripts once 2 days ago and part of 2014 was showing but not all of it. I had no codes yet. I’m assuming that meant that I was processing. I have tried numerous times to access the transcripts again over the last 2 days and it keeps saying that I am locked out due to information not matching. I have no idea how that would even happen because I didn’t change anything! When I tried to check on the IRS2GO app it stated that I had ordered transcripts to be mailed to me, which I did not. My WMR is still stuck on one bar as well. I filed on Jan 21 and was accepted the same day about 10 minutes later. I did amend my return last year, so would that put me into a weekly cycle? And if I am weekly, could that be why I’m no longer able to access my transcripts right now? Please help!

ohiosnow…is this your first time with identity theft? my opinion, not sure or do not know for a fact, but just because you put in wrong info to view your transcripts is not the reason for the i.d. crisis… again, i am not sure. someone actually stole my ssn, and filed under my name in 2012. they caught the guy, but i use a pin, have for the past couple of yrs now, dont know when they will finally stop. whatever your case may be, the irs should send you info. patience is the key. it will be hard….. but please considering your condition, do not stress.

Hey guys,How are people checking SBBT? I didn’t have fees taken from refund will SBBT be able to answer any questions for me? Correct me if I’m wrong but even if I used Turbo Tax and I didn’t have any fees my refund will be sent to my emerald card directly from the IRS right?Not to SBBT and then to my card since I didn’t have any fees. I Know the emerald card releases the tax returns as soon as they are sent to your account. They make it available right away they do not hold it and they release throughout the day when ever it is released to your account it is release to your card.

If you all look through the posts on this thread you will see that what jb is saying is true. I have always gotten my deposit on a Wednesday so I should see my deposit next Wednesday. The last three years I have gotten cycle code 05 on my transcripts and 05 is Wednesday. So we should all see SOME sort of update over the weekend and if you don’t see something by Sunday then it’s time to really freak out. I’m trying to stay calm until then :)

Filed early on 1/5 got accepted on 1/14 and still have only 1 bar on WMR…… but just looked at my transcripts online so im confused.. cycle code 20150402 is on the transcripts… only “debt” that was owed was for my husband not having health insurance the entire year (which is a load of S*** people should not be forced to pay a fine for not having insurance) anyways.. will that cause a delay in what im seeing? my nerves are bad right now i need some type of reassurance lol
