@ Mo: Sorry honey, I was at work. Okay, did you try to order your transcripts (online) yet? If not, try to order them. *DO NOT TRY MORE THAN ONCE* you will get locked out and that will drive you NUTS, lol. If it says you address does not match, or N/A, you are not done processing. However, if it comes up and you do not have a code of any code that starts with 5 or 9, you are good. If you see the code 846 YOUR REFUND IS ISSUED!! Now if you cannot get in now, wait unit after 11pm EST, that is when it has updated for everyone. I do not think you will have a DDD for the 6th, but it is a good chance of the 7th or 9th. Let me know what you find out… GOOD LUCK!
Oh, by the way, the tax websites are pretty much fool-proof, I am sure you did fine. ;-)
What about scripts with the aca penalty without the 570???? I’ve been in irs limbo with full scripts for fifteen days. Just no 846 money code. :(
Well at least the website has now acknowledged that it’s broken! Called the number just now and it finally says my return was recieved, processed, and will be dd in 10 business days. Way to go KY, really dropped the ball this yr! Here’s hoping I wake up in the morning to some $$ in my account!
Be sure to send in Form 8962 for the healthcare. I was accepted on 1/12 and I know I’ve been waiting since the 20th. Bars on WMR disappeared 1/26 and transcripts N/A. Finally spoke with someone yesterday that helped me and they informed me that they didn’t receive my initial form and that’s why I was stuck processing.
Then you might just be in the same boat as the rest of us in the dark, Carrie – stuck wondering lol.

I We received both 896 and 570 codes on our transcripts. The 896 has a Dollar amount next to it and the 570 has 0.00. Not sure how long returns have already been on hold so I’m not sure how long they will remain on hold. Trying to call IRS to see what they say. Fingers crossed it’s good!
Filed/accepted 1/22…if I was being reviewed would I have gotten a letter by now? I refuse to call these jagwagons.

On page 16 and 17 it does in fact show the cycle codes for the weeks of the year. That’s exactly what I had already said lol. The cycle number is missing the last 2 digits as it’s not being associated with a specific day in it’s reference.
In addition to that, that publication is old and outdated. For example, that still references a cycle week starting on Wednesday. That is not accurate as of 1-1-15.
There is a group for just Transcripts so you may be able to get more answers there.
I just filed and was accepted yesterday on 2/3, but I went back to look at my 2013 transcript and it has a 922 on it that says this:
CODE EXPLANATION OF TRANSACTION CYCLE DATE AMOUNT
922 Review of unreported income – 11-10-2014 $0.00Does this mean they reviewed it and there is no unreported income?
That code will be on your account transcript at the bottom where your refund amount is.

Do understand I’m not trying to argue, I’m just trying to make sure we’re all on the same page. I’ve reviewed that page quite a bit and I don’t see anything about dead submission cycles. The posting cycle as referenced in the section 3.30.123.4.7 “Dead Cycles” section is referring to the cycle code displaying on transcripts for example.
The three dead cycles each year are the first 3 weeks of January. They started processing returns on a dead cycle which is why everyone’s returns were processed a week later than anticipated. That in addition with other issues.
Filed 25 accepted 26 can view transcips all 000 bout to blow a gasket lol!!!
Additional Liability pending/or Credit hold (from the irs code pocket book)
Filed 1/29, approved same day in afternoon. WMR one bar, TT 152. No confirmation code from TT. I went to pull up my transcripts for 2014 and Return Transcript, Record of Account Transcript, and Account Transcript are all N/A. My Wage and Income Transcript says ‘no record of return filed’. What the hell, it has been a week. What does this mean? Did I do something wrong or should I be worried?
@ty: I’m sorry that she connected you to the operator instead. She should have transferred you to Customer Service or at least given you the number, which is 800-829-0922. I wouldn’t bother calling that number, though, because you’ll have to go through the automated system and will probably end up waiting on the general line (if it even accepts you). It’s best to go through the Holds Department and get transferred. I just listed the steps that worked for me each time, but it no doubt depends on the representative that you get at the beginning. Personally, I would try again, especially since you don’t need to wait very long, but that’s just another one of my suggestions. I have found that they are very nice people in that department, though!
I checked my transcripts, and got 20150503 code 846. I went back to WMR… and they wouldn’t let me check anymore. Said I have exceeded my daily limit. I guess I should stop obsessing…….. at least I can check on here with you all as often as I want.
The cycle code people are seeing on their transcripts are actually processing dates. Can you point me to the information you found on Submission codes?
MISSING TRANSCRIPTS? STILL 000?
If you got blank transcripts last monday/tuesday you will most likely see an update yet tonight by AM. There could be outside factors that would cause this not to happen though.If you got blank transcripts last thursday/friday, expect to see an update on those days this week with a cycle code of 20150505.

WHAT IT MEANS:
If you got a cycle date of 0502 CONGRATULATIONS! Your return has been processed! Account transcript should be updated soon as well. You should expect to see WMR update Tuesday night and get a DDD for Friday 2/6! CONGRATS!
HOW TO FIND CYCLE CODE:
1. Go to http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript
2. Click “Get Transcript Online”
3. Login or create an account.
4. Click on 2014 under Return Transcript.
5. If it says n/a you are not done processing.

Why don’t I see a cycle code?
– If you don’t see a cycle code on your transcript it’s because it has not yet been processed completely and you are most likely being resequenced.

What does resequenced mean?
– When your return gets processed it is done automatically by computer. Occasionally there can be a glitch or problem with it in which case it fails to process and needs to be reprocessed. When this happens it is “recycled” to be processed the next cycle(The next week).

How do I know if I’m daily processing or weekly?
-Without looking at past data there’s no way to know. You can look at your past cycle codes and see if they all end in 05. If they do, you’re most likely weekly. Weekly processing happens thursday nights/Friday morning. Only the IRS can tell you for sure (Not that they will though).

The IRS said I’m under review! Why!?
– In accordance to the IRS manual, any tax payer calling in before the time frame for processing has expired will be told to wait. If you continue to push they may just tell you that you’re under review.

Why is Where’s My Refund not showing any bars?
– This is likely due to inactivity. It should update the next time your return updates.

Why are other people getting their money before me? I filed before them!
– Not only can there sometimes be issues where a return needs to be reprocessed, some peoples returns can happen faster for a number of reasons. They could be on a daily cycle while you are on a weekly. Also, in the past, refunds under a certain amount(Used to be $1000) would skip a step while processing and allow you to get your refund quicker.anyone with updates throughout the week that were accepted 2/2 post here please. or if you were accepted at an earlier date and your acceptance date changed.

You will see an update the same day this week as you got your blank transcripts last week. Probably going to be thursday night.
What happened was your return was set to be processed and for one reason or another failed. When this happens your return is then delayed to be processed the next cycle (Which is the next week). It happens on the same day as the previous cycle.

I apologize if I misunderstood your post but I’m referring to cycle codes people are seeing on their transcripts. There is no “refund cycle” date or any of the sort. Also the IRS has done away with the “refund chart”.
IMF Cycle Date is a daily cycle designated by an eight digit number indicating the year, the two digit cycle number and the two digit number indicating the day of the week (YYYYWWDD). The following values for DD are defined:
01 = Friday
02 = Monday
03 = Tuesday
04 = Wednesday
05 = Thursday
IMF computes your refund date as the posted cycle date PLUS four business days for Direct Deposit refunds; posted cycle date PLUS six business days for Paper Check refunds.
For example: 20150502 should get a DDD of 2/6 (four days later). 20150503 will get a WMR update tonight with a DDD for Monday 2/9.
Well I took the advice below and called the holds dept. And it was the most useless call ever…. I got the sweetest sounding granny ever. Lol she was way to nice…. well sugar u called the wrong dept but ill get u were u need to be.. And she connected me with the operator.. soihungup

How can I find my submission id, (it has a cycle code in the middle with 6 digits which tells you what cycle your return will be processed on)

My prior two year transcript codes end on 05Please help..
It seems many of you misunderstand cycle codes. Cycle codes consist of 8 digits. NOT 6. 20150503 for example would mean cycle 05 and day 03 (tuesday). No one should be seeing a cycle code of 201501 or 201502 or 201503 as they are the dead cycles. Again, It’s the MIDDLE number that references cycle, NOT the last 2.

I have not gotten my DD yet, but my account shows a credit balance in the amount of my refund. To see it you actually have to create an account with the Georgia Tax Center and log in. Also if you create an account, you can set up an alert for when your return was processed. You can also see correspondence they’ve sent you, etc.The WMR is still showing “being processed” but the credit balance is there. Typically I’ve seen my refund hit my account within 4 days after the credit balance appears.
This year I was accepted on 2/1 and received the alert yesterday 2/3. Last year for GA I was accepted 2/3, processed 2/8 and DD 2/12.
I filed on 1/23 and do not have to pay a health care penalty since we have it thru my husbands employer.
Did your account transcript with the 00s show up at the end of last week because I have read if that’s the case, we should see updates tomorrow or Friday night. Fingers crossed.
