I filed on 1/30 after 11am and was re-sequenced (according to the IRS was due to high volume of filers that day). New sequence code 20150605. DDD showed on 2/14 (finally) as 2/19. I am apparently a Thursday process and my account transcript updated when the IRS went down at 11am on 2/13. I read somewhere that 11am was the magic time that the IRS updates the account at that time and WMR will them be updated the next morning. I also was reading the IRS manual (I was really determined to find out information) and discovered that an account will continue to re-sequence until the ending number in their sequence is 1. Hang in there.

You’ll have to wait for updates – mine was rejected on the 4th updated transcripts updated the 6th and wmr updated on the 7th for mail date of 2-13.

Shouldn’t take long unless you get code 1121 then it will be a little delay.

When the bars disappear is when we were recycled into the system due to no one available to work our returns. Count 21 days plus upto 10 days past from there and you should have your refund. We filed 1/27 and was accepted the same day. We lost our bars on the 30th. So we should receive our refund between this weekend and the next. Only the IRS knows, but that is what happened when this occurred last year. Only time will tell.

I filed on 1/21 I was accepted on 1/22. I received a DDD for 1/30. On 1/29 I received the dreaded 1121 code. Y transcripts read refund issued the 841 refund cancelled with a 2/16 date. Both my tax rep and I have called the irs and was told that I was chosen for a random review, that Im not flagged and may or may not reiceve a letter. That I need to wait 60 days and no real information. I wanted to know if you could please help and offer any advice on what to do. Should I speak go a tax advocate? It’s frustrating that I don’t know what’s wrong so I can’t fix it and my refund is in limbo. I look forward to hearing from you and Thanks

Hi guys I’m new here. On February 5 my return was accepted with a DDD of February 13. On February 11 I realized that I had left out 3 numbers from my account number. I contacted the IRS but they told me there was nothing they could do and that I would have to wait for a paper check, but now when I check WMR it’s saying that my refund was deposited on February 13. What do I do now???

Hi All. I had a 2/11 deposit date. My bank told me on 2/13 they never saw any deposit. Tried calling IRS on 2/13 – what a joke. Today (2/16) I sign back on to WMR and I see this: “We are sending you a check to the address shown on your tax return because your bank returned the direct deposit of your refund.
Your tax refund is scheduled to be mailed by February 23, 2015. If you do not receive the refund by March 23, 2015, please contact us again. We are unable to take any action until then.”.

My bank never saw a deposit – I am absolutely positive all my banking information was 100% correct on my return. The IRS is clearly lying. Someone messed up something on their end, or they are just trying to buy time giving me my money, but it is a huge issue for me. I was relying on that money to pay several bills and now my bank account is negative. I am beyond frustrated.

If anyone else is in my boat, I recommend contacting your IRS Taxpayer Advocate. I don’t think this will help my current situation, but I want the IRS to know that they messed up and I know it. I tried to order a transcript this morning after still not having any bars, and was given the message “we cannot process your transcript request. I filed through tax act on January 21, accepted January 21. I received my letter from the irs on February 14 saying they ate holding my refund for review and I don’t have to do anything. (Pretty much just wait? !) I can access my transcripts. … I have multiple codes. …

Still nothing form NYS. Mine was E-Filed on Jan 21st with TaxAct and was accepted on the 22nd. Still says under further review could take up to 90 days. I’ve used TaxAct without issue for the past 6 years. My Fed was also filed on Jan 21st, accepted almost immediately, and my refund was DD’d on 2/4. It’s been within 14 days every year. NY always takes longer…but I’ve never received the 90 day message before. Can’t find out any information even when I log into my NYS.GOV account…and nobody can tell me any new info over the phone. My return is very basic…nothing that “should” warrant an audit or delay….so from reading some of the file/acceptance dates from other people…it looks like it might have something to do with returns filed/accepted within a specific date range…don’t know.

I filed taxes with TurboTax on Feb. 3rd, I was accepted that afternoon around 5:30pm. I have never been able to see the bars on WMR. I have checked it on irs.gov and it still shows accepted and processing. I have been able to view my transcripts since Feb. 11th.
my transcript shows the following:

This has not changed since Wednesday the 11th. I always get my return within 7 days and this year its taking longer and it harder to track. When I call the automated line it says processing too. You are under manual review. I would say it is where you have claimed dependents and you might not have had enough income to sustain so they are reviewing it.

I filed Jan 28th and was immediately rejected due to my depends name not matching ssnumb. I changed her last name this yr and forgot that I have not yet updated her ss card I immediately corrected it on turbo tax (where I filed) and within hours it was accepted by IRS. WMR was showing the tracker w one bar highlighted until I got this generic message when I checked later the tracker was back-still one bar. But the generic message again came back and its been over a week since anything has updated. The 1800 numb gives the same info. No codes just that it is being processed. On weds (in 2 days) I will be at 21 days and can call. Very nervous after reading some people didn’t get returns for months… I need this money asap for specific bills! Any new updates?

This morning my bars disappeared. I know some people are saying that happened and now are getting DD dates a week or more after. So my question is, is this a good thing? I heard that it was a glitch in the system but I’m not too for sure. I received the letter on valentines day….what a great gift lol. Filed and accepted 1/31. wmr at one bar no codes and transcripts are still blank. I read on a forum that one guy did 38 people’s taxes this year and 19 of them received the 4464c letter and all of them have received their refund. And he even received the letter himself and his ddd is for 2/16. He says not to call and ask about it to just wait it out and see what happens. It might be a couple weeks more. If they request more info from you then thats when you take action. But im just going to wait it out. He said we are all not under review he can guarantee that. Just the irs being slow this year from being understaffed and they need an excuse to take longer.

On Tuesday Feb 10th the site told me my refund had been processed and approved.. Checked Friday it said “your refund has been reissued”!! What the heck!? Can someone tell me what that even means?

I filed on 1/20 only to have the irs tell me that they didn’t receive my return until 1/22 although the letter I received from my accountant states a received date of 1/20. While on the phone with the irs the first time I was told to call back the next day due to the dates being different than what I thought. Called back the next day only to be told my return was under review and I would receive a letter in the mail. She asked if I received this letter (which I have not) only for me to look on my transcript and see a date of 2/23/15 next to the code 971 notice issued. I still have my code 570 with a date of 2/16. If only I knew what all this meant I would feel less stressed.

Frustrated_Refunder If it’s sitting on someone’s desk and the problem isn’t found or inputting into the system no one can tell what the problem is until someone buys notes on the file. As for the letter many people are told a letter is being sent and non are generated cause the problem is corrected before its mailed.. You have to wait and see if you actually do get the letter or not

I used balance financial last year, never use this card for tax refund deposits they held my money for a week I thought the money never hit but it did I could not log in to my account finally called and they wanted id verfication faxed in.

Lol 0605 is Wednesday. The 5 stands for Wednesday. 01 is Thursday 02 is Friday 03 is Monday 04 is Tuesday 05 Wednesday. The 06 is the cycle week. So the following would be 0701 would be next Thursday.

Thanks Bart! I’m still confused though. Why would 3 people say we were getting a letter (including 2 from the advocate line) if we’re not? Also isn’t it strange that they wouldn’t be able to see what the issue is? At this point will the advocate be of any help?

Frustrated_Refunder Actually this is not a unique situation 1/22 you filed they can see your return the transcripts are n/a due to it hasn’t processed and now the rest of it… You can’t be getting a letter or you would have a transcript so unless it’s a letter stating there was a delay in processing or the id verify and since you weren’t in if verify The only logical conclusion is that your return was unpostible due to either an irs error or return error.. Now what happening either you got reqsuenced or sent to the error resolution department to be corrected.. If that’s not the cause then you are under review and they are verifying inCome. If u were in errors resolution or reqsuenced then you will have an update by this week. That’s the average time frame. If not then it could be about another 45 days of you are under review… I hope this helps

I really need your input. We have what appears to be a unique situation. We filed and were accepted on 1/22. We had one bar until this past Wednesday when we got the “we are still processing…” Our amount is still there if it makes a difference. Now for the strange part. We still cannot not view transcripts (they say n/a). We called on Friday and spoke to an IRS rep who said a letter was mailed early in the month and but she was unable to see what kind of letter and we should call back in 14 days if we still hadn’t received it. We then called the ID department and that wasn’t the issue so we reached out to the advocate line. We spoke with two different advocate reps who stated the same as the IRS rep, it shows that a letter was mailed but they could not see what it was at all which was strange according to the second advocate. She put us on hold 3-4 times while checking different things. She said that our return has not been processed at all and maybe it was a signature because of the department/status it’s in. Well we filed electronically so it can’t be that. They went ahead and issued a case number for us and we’re just waiting for a call back. Any ideas on what the issue could be? How long it’ll take? What they’ll do next? Sorry it’s so long I just wanted to give you the details. Thanks in advance for your help. You seem to be our only hope for a reasonable answer.

Maybe 0605 was never Wednesday in the first place, maybe the whole count skips Monday, because of the holiday, the same way it skips weekend days.

Makes more sense than a bunch of wondering about when it would catch up and whatnot.

So perhaps Thursday the 19th was 0605 to begin with.
