NY STATE REFUND DISCUSSION

Created this topic to discuss NY Refund progress. I filed 1/23, accepted 1/24, and currently the NY Refund Status website states
“We received your return and it required further review. While most returns are reviewed within 4 weeks, it may take up to 6 weeks to complete our review.” Am i the only one with this status or is this the general status message used during processing? Also anybody know how long NY Refunds are taking this year!? Thanks and good luck with returns!

I have the same 90 day review…I was an early filer ..called Thursday rep told me that it just fell under review she also said it was nothing wrong with it should change in a few days .i asked if she was sure due the fact I fell under review 2yrs prior to this year .so this makes 3yrs back to back .smh

I filed on the 23rd and was accepted that same night. Up until a few days ago tho it was telling me that they had no info. Then it updated to:

We have received your return and it is being processed. No further information is available at this time.

I also got the 90 day review.. Maybe NYS doesn’t want to give us our money.. Or it’s a glitch are the really reviewing this many returns???

I also have the 90 day review statement. I went on TT forum and saw a lot of people have the same thing listed on the refund page. I am trying to figure out what needs a further look. I do file EIC, child credit, but its a simple return 1 W2 and no extra deductions.

DEE, last year i had the “90 days” message, and after the 90 days it switched to “120 days” . I didn’t see my state refund til MAY! Hopefully it won’t take the full 4-6 weeks before i see a change

I also got a message saying that my return requires further review and it can take up to 90 days. Not happy, I have never had an issue with my return. I’m having issues with my federal return too.
