so I called right at 7 am to the phone # given on the take action screen and it said having technical difficulties try your call later. Then I called 800-829-1040 and go to the get status and enter all your info. After you hear the code 1121/delay recording there will be an option to speak to an operator. In 24 minutes I found out they froze the refund till the 21st day, they jumped the gun with the early refunds. He did tell me code 1121 has a broad scope of meanings for the IRS so just call to see which pertains to you!!! Hope you all get your refunds quick :)

I filed my daughter’s return on 2/3 with TT, it was accepted in just a few minutes. I checked on 2/5 and it was already approved with a DDD of 2/9. I checked SBB and it was received on 2/6 and transmitted to her bank and it is there this morning. WMR IS STILL SHOWING APPROVED NOT SENT !! So, check your bank as well.

Parker 36……NO !!! He cannot purchase one at the store. If his money is already deposited, he already has an account number. ALSO, the cards you purchase at the store cannot be used at an ATM. You have to wait for the one printed with your name to be able to withdraw funds.

Simple info, no story, just facts and my two cents:

-I’ve been using RC since 2008.
-I receive SSI every month, on the 26th – no matter when RC says they are depositing, it comes the 26th (or closest weekday to that).
-I found IGMR site in 2012.
-I started using my RC for Refund in 2012 and then used it again in 2013 and 2104.
-The deposit hit the day WMR stated all three years.
-This year, I used my husband and I’s joint BOA because he’s not on my RC account and we filed MFJ.

Both my son and I have 2/11 DDD. He used NetSpend that he ordered from TT. He just received the email that his money is on the card, but the card hasn’t come yet. Is it true he can go to the store to get another and they can just transfer to the new card?

Btw, I have BOA. They dont post the refund to the exact day of my DDD every year.

I was told that the disappearance of “bars” was due to heavy sight traffic. I filed returns for all {3) of my children. The first was on 2/2 and accepted within 30 minutes. It showed approved with a DDD of 2/9 on 2/4. HOWEVER, I just checked and status HAS NOT changed it remains on APPROVED/DDD 2/9. No refund has issued. Another was filed in late evening on 2/3 and accepted about an hour later NO INFO,, the last one was submitted at 12:20 AM on 2/4 and accepted immediately, NO INFO

I really don’t think there is a straight answer besides what the IRS website says about if you loose bars your under review…with that being said ive seen people loose bars and get their refunds within 5 or 6 days of filing…ive also seen people loose them and wait months so unless you get a code on WMR or a letter in the mail…I think it ok…its really anybodys guess.

Still waiting on VA state refund too. I was told at the Treasury office in my county this past Friday that even though VA accepted returns on Jan 20, they didn’t start processing until Feb 2. I’m not sure how true this is, but it could explain why we don’t have our state refunds yet.

I filed on the 16th and was accepted the same day .On the 6th of Feb I called IRS and asked if any notice or anything was sent to me. They said you should call the tax payer protection department on 800-830-5084. So i did call and verified my information and they said I was good to go. They also said please allow additional 6 weeks for processing. I don’t understand why the extra six weeks? Do you know if they issue refunds sooner or will I ever even get my refund?

And I really can’t answer about you ddd if you can’t see your transcripts to see if you have a freeze code on it

This is the actual its 1121 or 841 transaction code work list. It tells the rep what to do for each situation. Scroll down and find which freeze code or situation applies to you. Then look at what the rep is required to tell you. Could read. Learned a great deal.

I received the 4464c letter dated for January 29 I lost my bars January 31, I contacted irs the following Monday which was February 2, I spoke with an irs rep concerning missing bars( keep in mind I didn’t know I had a letter issued to me in til I received the letter which was this past Friday February 6) the irs rep gathered my info looked it up and shared with me that everything was looking good far as my refund and that it was processing with no problems, he never mentioned a letter, and with my experience over the years with the irs they will tell you if it was a letter sent out and he never made mention of it which leads me to believe the letters were sent out because of the alleged glitch

Yeah same here. I researched this and found what they are required to do when you call. It varies. Some issue can be resold during the call. Some can’t. I found that some of the 1121ers tried to get access to their transcripts but failed the security questions. That triggered them. Not me. I found that the bank rejected the refund and a check could be issued. Could be me. I read that additional income was found that was not reported. Not me. And so on. Whatever it is I found that the average person dint get their refund until May! Wow how sad. Oh well, looks like I’ll have the summer vacation I’ve always dreamed of.

I saw at least 20 people on the FB page for this site saying it never went past bar one and it was deposited to them. That wmr site is so full of glitches. I do know missing bars once you’ve had them is only an indication of heavy site traffic.
