i have read, on here through reliable source, the 896/570 should update tonight and if your a 20150402 , funds should be released tonight/tommrw. the 896 is the healthcode penalty and the 570 is ‘holding’ your return so it doesn’t go out to you without the penalty being applied, which is supposed to happen tonight.

My 896 code has the same amount I paid for health insurance and my refund total reflects that. I am able to see all my transcripts.

I was wondering if maybe we got re sequenced too. Maybe they have to manually put ours in because they didn’t go through correctly. Just a theory.

If you paid your 34.99 at the time of filing, with your credit card or debit card, your refund will NOT go through SBBT. SBBT is a tax preparation group that is used when you choose the option to have the filing fees taken out of your refund, rather than paying upfront with a credit/debit card. You would only have an SBBT account if the 34.99 was being taken directly from your refund!

@BartD: Accepted by IRS on 01/20/15. Since then I have been stuck on one bar with no progression. I’ve had no changes in my info whatsoever. I don’t know how accurate the cycle codes ( I don’t even understand the cycle codes) are but for the past two years, mine has been 20140601 (I was part of the 1121 fiasco) and 20130804 ( I was part of the education credit fiasco) After the past two stressful tax seasons I just want one without any glitches! Any ideas when you think I should be able to see my transcripts and get a DDD?

Last year SBBT deposited my funds sometime around 3 pm PST. The year before that I had my funds at 10 am PST. It is 10:27 am PST an still no funds on my green dot card. There are so many different answers and stories. Although the facts remain that we do have 896/570 codes. Is it possible that since we filed early not only did they gives these codes but resequenced us at the same time, another theory to throw out there. I just wish we good get an honest answer. We pay tax companies to file our taxes, they should be able to help get an answer!

I just spoke to someone at BOA as well, he said something similar. Since it’s ACH, it needs to go through their overnight processing which can take up to two days. If they receive it today anytime before 8 PM Eastern, then it will be available tomorrow morning.

Can anyone back this statement up, or was he just saying a generic message. I thought we were paying SBBT the $34.99 fee as a wire fee essentially. I also don’t remember it taking more than a day last year. Although it looks to be the case that we won’t be seeing the cash till tomorrow at the earliest. Anyone know any different?

My husband just called H&R Block Emerald Card customer service to see if there is a pending deposit for our refund. WMR says we are approved to the money will be deposited by Jan 30th.. Well the people at H&R Block told him it could be all the way up to the 12th before it posts but should be sooner.. Ummm I thought the Emerald Card was supposed to be fast!??

You all have given me a breath of hope. I was starting to freak that maybe i was under extended review for what ever reason. i was so scared because my sister and my boyfriend who both filed the same day as me, have a DDD set for tomorrow. I only have the 1 bar on WMR and i was started to get really scared. I bought a house in 2014 so i didnt know if something like that was holding it up and threw up a red flag. I get so nervous for no reason. the government and IRS scares me, but its nice to see that i am not the only one who is still only 1 bar. I have a question. Why did so many people file as early as the 8th of January when the irs announced that they wouldn’t process returns until the 20th? It seems there are a ton of people who filed before the 20th and they’re having a lot of problems getting progress on their refunds. On the other hand, there are a ton of people who filed on the 20th and a few days later who are getting their refunds tomorrow. I’m in that group. I filed on the 23rd and got a DDD for the 30th and my state refund was in my bank this morning. 7 days from filing to refund is something I’ve never experienced until this year. Just wondering if by filing so early did something to their returns.

When I checked SBBT earlier, under dispursment details it didn’t have very much info, however when I just checked back it said my amount and Dispursed to my customer id number and under note it said “GREENDOT”.. So I believe they just recently released them.

I just spoke to someone at BoA, he told me that since it’s an ACH deposit, realistically I’ll be seeing it anywhere from tomorrow morning to Tuesday morning at the latest. I’m not sure if that’s just actually realistic or just a generic CYA response.

Various factors come into play with when people file and get their DDD.
I filed & immediately accepted 1/26 (Monday)
WMR showing 1 bar
tax transcript viewable 1/28 (Wednesday)
account transcript viewable 1/29 (today Thursday)
showing cycle code 20150404
code 846 with date 02162015

From what I’ve read I should have a DDD of 2/2 or somewhere thereabout….

I’m going more by transcripts than WMR because the bars didn’t correlate last year for me.

I’ve been an 05 the past 3 years. 2011 and 2012, I filed on Thursday of one week and had my dd the following Friday. Last year, I did wait 2 weeks but there were a lot of people who filed early that we caught in the mix up.

This is my third year using Green Dot. The last two years played out like this…. I was able to see my funds on SBBT first thing in the morning (7am-9am). My first year they released my funds at 10 am PST! The year after I received my funds by 3 pm PST. The funds will come through today I am positive. It is just a matter of time until it does.

Ok so lookkng and researching it seems that any one with an 05 or have had any offsets or issues in the last 5 years you will wait a week no matter what. File on Monday 1/19 wait until the second week to be processed. File on Friday wait until second week to be processed. It makes perfect sense. It explains how some years you file on Friday the wait from accepted to DDD is shorter than those filing on Monday. The first week is a dead week just because of the weekly filing. Makes perfect sense to me. Let me know if any have input. It sure does create a peace of mind if so.

The worst part of this is the gossip. People throughout the internet are making things up, repeating things they heard, or getting misinformation from uninformed IRS reps. I have heard we are all under review, that it will be take 4-6 weeks to process health care penalties, that we will have our DDD tomorrow, that we are getting a audit, etc.

If tomorrow morning comes and go without a change at all, I think alot of us will just loose it. lol

I’m in the same boat as many of you. Filed 1/18, accepted 1/20, 1 bar and n/a on 2014 transcripts. I filed both our taxes and a friend of the families about a half hour apart on 1/18, our friend’s were approved with a 1/30 DDD on Wednesday while we still wait. Hoping for an update tonight/tomorrow since the same thing happened to us last year.

I guess the bright side to all of this for me is that I had two teeth extracted on Monday and I’m still on soft food for a few more days…it would really stink to get my refund tomorrow and not be able to go out and get a nice fat steak dinner! :)

I was able to view my transcripts on Monday, however, ever since… they have either given me error codes or said I was “locked out” for misinformation.
When I saw my t’s I had a cycle of 20140402 with the 896/570
I feel like we have been voted off the island! I am not much of an obsessive girl, but the “limbo” is maddening!
