I am a 1/20 filer
No activity until I could finally order my transcripts at the end of the day. This morning I finally got a ddd for the 4th I’m on the se on bar on wmr

If you wasn’t updated last night it’s definetly coming! I hope this gives dome hope because I too was absolutely frustrated with this process

Kristin..our bars and refund amt went missing for over a week with tt152 remaining…we finally updated…after a lot of nail biting …and have DDD Feb 4. Hang in there…..try not to fret..your d day is coming soon!

0405 here…I am one with a 570 code and no 896. I had health insurance through the marketplace all year, and had a tax credit. When I filed my taxes, my credit increased and I am getting an additional amount back. I believe this is where the glitch popped up, and I am hoping for an update next Friday. I can view all of my transcripts as well. We shall see! I am interested to know…for the other 570s, when did your code first appear on your transcript? That may have something to do with why some 0402s haven’t updated yet. Mine appeared yesterday (Friday).

A number of us are in the same boat unfortunately. I have had my blank transcript ALL WEEK. NO progress has been made. It is driving me freaking off the wall as well.

Here’s my update:

I filed on 1/26 and was accepted the same day. I was not able to order any transcripts via online or by mail until midnight this morning. I’m still not able to view them online because of identity protection. I was sent a letter from the IRS to use an IP Pin. I was, however, able to order my transcripts by mail on the IRS2Go app. I woke up this morning and checked my status and was approved.

Filed/accepted: 1/26
Transcripts order by mail: 1/31
Approved: 1/31
Mailed check being sent by: 2/6

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for checks to be received in the mail? I opted for mailed check because my previous bank account is no longer active. I’ve heard 3-5 days after the date it will be sent.

This happened to me a few years back I had to prove that I was the guardian of my kids and I didn’t receive a refund until mid September. good luck

I finally got a ddd of 2/4 today. filed 1/7 on turbo tax. accepted 1/12. wmr checked every day since then and no update until this morning. Thankful. I read so many horror stories across the internet.

Alex, I think we should start seeing movement early to mid week. Seems a lot of people who filed on the 26th got their money by the end of the week, so hopefully we’ll get ours by the end of next week too. :)

Yes I am having the same issue! Filed 1/20, had one bar all week and now went to still processing. Cant access transcripts or anything. I was going to wait to file cause last year my refund got delayed months when I filed on day one. Now I have a wedding and a honeymoon coming up and im assuming the IRS is going to screw me again.

That can be explained as well. Their situations aren’t identical to yours, mine, or others. There have been people with 896, who never got the 570, and got their DDD. There are also some reporting having 896 and 570, but now updating to a DDD. Point being just because someone has 896 & 570, doesn’t mean they are related. Yes, we have been able to determine the 896 & 570 alone are related, but thats not 100% of the time. TC570 is a generic code for many things that fall under additional liability pending/ credit hold. Just because someone has 896 & 570 together, doesn’t mean they are caused by the other. If they have another code, or reason for review, the 570 can be related to that as opposed to the 896. In other words if they have 896, and another code or reason for review, they got the 570 for that. If they didn’t have another code or reason for review, they would have never got the 570, and would have went on to DDD, like some with only 896 have already done.

I have a offset and on WMR it shows Topic 203. But when I call the hotline it keeps saying it “could” be offset. I did get my refund approved for the 4th that’s my deposit date. When you call the offset hotline does it or does it not say it will be coming out on your refund date??

No changes for me. Not losing hope though. From what I’ve read here, turbo tax forums, and facebook group, it appears multiple people were told the 570 was lifting on it’s own yesterday, which is inline with the systemic release on the 4th business day after posting (code posted monday, so 1st business day wa Tuesday, 2nd day Wednesday, 3rd day Thursday, 4th day Friday. The reason I think we aren’t seeing updates is because Yesterday (Friday 1/30) was a deferred day, meaning anything processed didn’t post, and can’t post until Monday. Monday is an elongated day, which means anything that processed or updated on Friday, today, or tomorrow, will post late Monday night, early Tuesay morning.

There is a person by the name of ugh who is lurking around writing negative comments about people who was approved. He/she decided to wake up and hate on individuals who were approved. We all will get approved hopefully by the end of next week if not tonight. Ugh decides to be a jealous little insecure bitter rat faced hoe who has nothing else to do but nag. I can’t access my transcripts either due to identity protection crap. This morning I have gone from one bar to none and the message that they are still processing my return and they will give me a refund date when it becomes available. I haven’t received a letter…at least not yet. Its funny how your address doesn’t match their records but you are able to get the mail they send you. Just know you aren’t alone in your frustration.

I was accepted and can see all of my transcripts, including cycle date for Wednesday. However I had a very small offset from 2006. That’s shows it was transferred then notice issued. No 846. WMR updated overnight to refund delayed. Any ideas?

I also received this code 9001 as of today…I filed on Jan 16th..accepted on 16th…All week WMR site said accepted and processing but with no DD date…now I am getting this code…I called turbotax and they said it’s a generic code usually means you tried to sign in to many times or they r doing updating in their system…they only update in the evening and on weekends..so there is no need to check more than once a day….I get locked out all the time for too many attempts. .I hope they r right and it goes back to the bar soon with a DDD…good luck

I also went from one bar with topic 152 to no bars and no topic just the “we are still processing your return we will issue a refund date when one becomes available” message. Refund amount still shows though. No letter from the IRS. This is nightmare.

I can look at my account transcript but it’s blank besides my name, OLD address, ssn, filing status etc. There’s a date of February 16th 2015 which I’m assuming is the end of my 21 days but someone said it means I’ll get my refund 10-14 days before that… I’m not sure. Its all so confusing.

I filed on 1/27 and was accepted almost right away. Now I’m super sad because all these people who filed at the same time have refund dates of 2/4 :(. I have checked my refund transcripts but all 2014 sections show N/A except for the one under Wage & Income Transcript, does anyone know if this means anything? Which one should i be looking for?
