i can still see my transcripts but….i dont have a 856 refund code on them…..website only says they have rec’d my return and are processing it…..is anyone else having this issue…..should i be worried?

thank you. I’m on the phone right now. I hope I can get some answers. It’s been like this for over 2 weeks. Taxact said that I was accepted on the 14th, which now, I know is not true. So I need to get some answers seriously. This being held in the dark is not cool at all. If it was them, I know they would demand answers asap.

I too filed and was accepted 1/23. Several days with no progress on WMR. 1/31 checked transcripts, and like most ,they are all zeros, says no return filed . Also have the Feb 16,2016 date on the transcript but i noticed its using last years head of” household” rather than this yrs “single”. My taxes were filed as Single this year so im wondering if they just use last years info as default until the system updates the transcripts with accurate up to date information. 1/31-2/1 system at wmr was down and today 2/2 its back up yet no progress on my approval. Still at accepted. Anyone else still waiting who filed the 23 or around there.. Im in FL if that matters.

So I just saw on fb that a few ppl have been told if u have market place insurance with the credits, they aren’t being processed yet, and that the ones who filed early are missing a form and will be pulled for review and have to mail the form in and wait an additional 3/6 weeks. So anyone who has been stuck forever, this may be ur problem.

Filed 1/16 accepted 1/20 only one bar on wmr and no transcripts :( I hate the irs my grandma filed a week after me and had her refund 3 days later!?!? Came across this though and it made me feel a bit better about waiting.

I just filed 2/1/15. I am currently on a payment plan with the IRS and from what I understand they will pay your balance with your refund… payment plan or not. I don’t owe much so I am not worried but does any one know if this will delay my refund in any way? If so, are we talking a few days, weeks, month…what?

I split mine over three different accounts just to test and see which one was the best and I have to say that my Netspend account had the funds on 1/30 while the other two, (card.com) and my personal bank are still sitting there looking sad waiting on the funds to be deposited. Next year I am Netspend all the way. Looks like I will be waiting until weds for the remainder of my return :)

Nope it’s probably not H&R Block. What’s your WMR status? Lots of filers 1/25 and earlier have been in limbo. Have you checked your transcripts? Refer to the zeroed/no return filed transcript thread.

What I did is stayed on the collection area (attorney General) and once they posted it as paid, when I kept calling the tax payer line. They were not very happy I was calling each day. I was told they would get to mine but they were processing current year. I think the entire process took almost 6 weeks. I was then issued a paper check.. no ddd.

It’s bc u were exempt from Paying the penalty. They want proof. It’s basically a scam saying if u want ur money faster, just pay the fee. ACA is a joke and illegal.

Just checked and the WMR site says i have checked the status too many times??? I only checked twice, is that a normal response?? I have never had that happen before. And to be honest I also normally have a DDD by now, filed on 1/28 normally only takes 7 days to receive my refund. Starting to get a bit concerned.

Yes!! I highly recommend Netspend. This year I split my return across three accounts. I was able to view my account transcript on thursday, my netspend showed up overnight Friday and the other two (one with my bank and another with card.com) have yet to appear. Next year I am using Netspend all the way. I had read about people getting their returns quicker but I just wanted to test it out and I am going to say you get it as soon as it is transmitted; it appears they do not hold it at all. So it could be from 2-4 business days sooner. I am not due my deposit until Weds and I have had my funds since Friday.

Oh and my bars finally updated to approved with the deposit date for those that are curious about that part ;)

I have a question. I filed my refund on the 14th. My dad filed his one the 17th and my gf filed hers on the 25th. Both have received their money already. Do you know why this could be?

Only thing i can think is they filed Turbo Tax and I filed H&R Block?

Filed accepted 1/20 still NOTHING… 1 bar, no transcripts. I was thinking back about the past few years and have come to an obvious realization…. “If you file EARLY or in the first FIVE days of acceptence, they will PENALIZE you and make you wait longer than others”. It’s a passive aggressive way of them getting back at us for making them work lol! I have truly learned my lesson this year. ALL the people I know personally who filed after me have trancsripts or 2 bar. Mark my words!!!!

I’ve have backwards progress. Filed on 1/21, accepted minutes later, had one bar for a couple of days but no transcripts available. Bar disappeared around 1/28, no refund amount shows and still no transcripts. Very, very frustrating.

Filed and Accepted on 1/22. Still shows Processing. WMR has no transcripts for me (actually is says “no records found”). Always had it in days in prior years, but it seems that this year it is happening to a lot of 1/22 ‘ers.

If your WMR is at one bar and you can see your account transcript with all zeros (and with the words ‘no return filed’ and most important, no CODES) most likely you have been caught in the system glitch and re-sequenced. This kicks you back into processing mode, like kicking you back in line. This may be why people who filed after you or at the same time are getting DDD’s and you’re not. Some people may see a ddd after the next update tomorrow, but if not I suggest calling the IRS to find out if you have been caught up in this glitch. Do not mention you’re calling about a refund. Inquire about whether you’re under review because your account transcript is showing all zeros and no return filed. I hope this info helps.

(502) 564-4581 is the number I called this morning. Pressed 1 and then 3. I filed on 1/21 and was accepted same day. They informed me that it was received but has not been processed. It can take 7-10 BUSINESS days, which today would be day 8. She also said that they have not been notified yet as to when they will be releasing funds. And asked me to call back Thursday or Friday. They are also aware of the website error but she had no idea when that would be fixed.

@ 2013taxpayer: Yes I was able to view my transcripts on Wednesday 1/28 and was able to see the 896/570 TC’s but was just not able to access my return transcripts then I ended up locking myself out I guess for trying too many times. But I filed on 1/6 and was accepted 1/13. Received my update on WMR website Saturday morning 1/31 and was able to access my return transcript late Friday night via phone. I hope my info helps some of you. Im almost positive most of you will be receiving updates on WMR website tonight going into tomorrow morning or tomorrow night going into Wednesday morning with a DD for Friday 2/6.

Still no deposit. Some/most/all Netspend users who got approved on 1/29(or 30) hour their funds in hand on 1/30. I use Rushcard and have been sitting here looking stupid since.

I hate that they got theirs basically immediately after being approved, yet Im out in the cold.

I was a first time filer this year, and doubt I’ll be going through all of this hassle ever again. The excruciatingly numb wait just isn’t worth it. I knew the IRS was bad, but I didn’t think it was THIS horrible.

1/10 would not recommend.

@ Jenn7 I dunno. I hope so. Do you see your acct transcript by chance and is it zeroed out with the date 2/16/2015? Because on the IGMR FB people are stating two things. 1. That means we got caught in a system glitch and review letters have been generated or 2. We’ve been re-sequenced. I just don’t know what to think anymore. If I don’t see an update by Weds (which would be 10 days from acceptance) I will call IRS.
