I filed my taxes with TT on 1/8 accepted 1/12 when going through the healthcare section I was asked a few questions told I was exempt and it took me to the next section but I was somehow missing the information from my 1095a. The letter from the IRS says my refund will be issued 6-8 weeks after they receive the information. Is anyone else going though this..is it really going to take that long I need my money >_<

Also, where u have to mail proof back u will probably have to wait 3-4 weeks at the least, I’m very sorry this is happening to u, but ur not alone.

It’s bc u were exempt from Paying the penalty. They want proof. It’s basically a scam saying if u want ur money faster, just pay the fee. ACA is a joke and illegal.
