I’ve called the Treasury Off-Set Hotline a few times and have no offsets or debts. I check WMR everyday in the morning and nothing has changed since the first time I checked it on the 27th. Just one bar and the message about I should receive my refund within 21 days. Will it take longer since I’m a first timer, should I be worried? I filed as head of household, and one dependent my son. My refund is 2,720 and could really use the funds. Do I just wait or call the IRS?

Oh, I know we wont see a DD on the 11th. I was meaning we should see WHEN our deposit date is ON or BY the 11th.

My return was accepted on 1/30/15 stayed with the generic processing message until today. Now I have to call the fraud dept (same as last year) so at least Im a step closer. Last year I just answered questions verifying my identity and income. Will try to repost tomorrow if I get a deposit date!

Looks like most people have to wait for the bank to return the funds to the irs before getting a mail by update. My account info was blank (irs glitch) so I was immediately switched to check and given the mail by date of 2/11.

I am having similar issues….I filed on 1/29 and was accepted not an hour later. WMR still just says accepted. Everyone I know filed after me and has either gotten theirs or has a Direct Deposit Date. Any idea whats going on? My refund has never taken longer than 9 days.

I filed on 2/5, accepted 2/6 at 3 am. From what I’ve read the ddd is 2/12 if accepted by 2/6 before 11 am. Does anyone know when they do updates. I still have one status bar. Nothing’s changed, however in the past I have always received my dd without any change to the status bar. Hoping this year is the same.

I am a 1/28er and my DDD is set for 2/11 but H&R Block told me just a few minutes ago I wont receive it till 2/19. I called her a liar and she hung up on me lol.

I have a DDD for 2/11 with the Emerald Card. If it helps, an HRB rep told me today that the funds will probably NOT come early if the IRS scheduled the DDD date. Many of us who were early filers were told 2/11 by HRB because it’s literally the day after our 21st day and the system automatically puts that day in there for the reps. But, if the IRS says 2/11, it will almost certainly not be on your card before 2/11. I’m sure there are exceptions to that.

HRB does not delay posting to your Emerald Card if you have prep fees/Emerald Advance coming out of your return. Those fees are pulled in minutes and the rest of the money is made available to you.

There is a Facebook group called H&R Block Emerald Card Holders. Everyone in this group has reported that they received their refunds on their Emerald Cards before 10:30 am, the day of the DDD. No one has gotten any money early – yet. Not saying it can’t happen. Just saying it’s not likely to happen.

Efiled my return on tt 1/30 was accepted about 45 minutes later after submitting returns. State sent me a letter for identification quiz before they could finish my return I was wondering would this be holding up my fed ddd because the transcripts have all 000 on it and a date of 2/23/2015 so I’m not sure what that means and says no return filed will I get an update soon?

Netspend received my refund before I had my card. Activated my card, still says zero balance. Anyone else have this problem or does anyone know how long it take account to update after card is activated?

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but I doubt we’d get our money on the 11th. Only reason is I know people who filed and were approved on 2/4 and have DDDs of 2/12. :(

Still only have 1 bar on WMR, but yet everything I have read on the net, including this forum states we still have hope for getting our taxes by 2/11/15.

What is the actual possibility we are going to get our taxes this week? The anticipation is killing me, that’s 7500 waiting for me, just chilling. I mean, if its not showing more then 1 bar by tomorrow should I just plan on next week?

You’ll get a 570 if they put a hold on the refund. 22,000 seems really high. If an error caused the refund to be that high you can count on a thorough second look .

Oh yeah, I also have Tax Topic 152… But that really doesn’t mean a damn thing. Last year I had “tax Topic 152” and ended up waiting almost 5 months for my refund. So don’t pay any attention to that. Tax Topic 152 means absolutely nothing, however, other “Tax Topics” may be different.

I filed with Turbo Tax, Relatively simply return, a single W2, some deductions, etc…

My return was transmitted to the IRS on Thursday, 2/5 @ 1:53P (EST)

The IRS accepted my return on Friday, 2/6 @ 10:38A (EST)

Since then WMR says that my return has been accepted and is being processed while showing one bar. As of now my transcripts are not available. I’ll update you guys regularly…

Filed 1/26, Accepted 1/28 officially. No updates in WMR and status bars went away over a week ago. Still cannot access transcripts and still getting the error message about ID Fraud. Now I just got some bad news. I called the same 1800 number that I called last week. It looks like my return is now “in review”. I asked the guy why and he said it looks like mine was randomly selected and it could be 6-8 weeks before I see any money. WTF. He said they have not sent a letter to me yet, but it was put under review on 2/5/15. I may or may not have to provide more information but he made it sound like those who filed in and around the same date I did are being randomly selected. THis makes sense now since I have seen so many people who filed the same day as I did and are not getting any updates. I’m livid right now. I was counting on that money for so many things.

In previous years has anyone else be randomly selected to be “under review”? What happened? Can anyone give me any insight?

Still one bar on wmr, n/a and no return filed on transcripts. Does anyone know if they usually start processing the IS return upon receiving? They received mine a week ago and have not started processing it. I talked to an IRS person on the phone that told me my form was received. That is how I know that much, but by looking at my transcripts they do not appear to be processing yet. If they were processing my Injured Spouse, it would appear on the transcript I assume?

@ Dawn once it is accepted it can take them the full 21 Days to process it and issue a return. Once your return is approved it will show it was approved with a ddd or a date they will be mailing your check. Hope this helps some. And in some cases it can take longer then the 21 days.

The 2/23 is your 21st day. The IRS’s “Due Date” so to speak. You may get a refund before this date. On the 23rd if your situation still hasn’t changed you can call the IRS and they will be able to tell you what exactly is going on with your refund.

Have you ever heard of them snatching a direct deposit back for further review? What if it were a mailed check….they couldnt do that. Seems odd..

Anywho I have done research on the 570 holds and there are several reasons to have one on your transcripts. A bank reject due to misspelled name, wrong account info, income verification, etc.

It seems everytime I call they pick a new reason under the 570 freeze list. Is it possible they dont know what the heck they are talking about. They have now quoted me a 60 day wait and that at some point a letter will be mailed. Ive had the hold since last tuesday….wouldnt a letter be sent already. Gahhhh…sorry for the long question. :)

You’re still in processing. Don’t stress yourself out – if you haven’t gotten a letter in the mail from the IRS odds are it isn’t that you’re being held for manual review etc. What was your cycle code for last year? If it ended in 05 you update weekly.

I filed with Tax slayer 1/28 early evening and accepted within minutes. I could access wmr the following day. No movement until last week I could request my acct trans by mail as it won’t allow me to view online. I am still unable to request return trans. What could this mean?

Sounds like a bit too much! I thought my return was freakishly large at a bit over $10k. I am filing married joint with 2 kids and wife is unemployed. I also claim 0 on my w4 witholdings. So unless you give additional money weekly on top of claiming zero I think something might be amiss. All the better to you though if it’s correct!

I filed wit tt acceptes 1/12 did not need a 1095a but the irs put a hold on my taxes .. they said i recieved insurance through the marketplace and i did not… after a day of phone calls and being on hold. I wad told i had to wait 4 weeks for the same letter you are all referring to to be sent out ahain since i never recieved the first one. When I downloaded all of my tax forms from TT, I noticed that the electronic postmark/filing sheet
states I have not filed! Yet, the TT site reflects I was accepted by the IRS on 1/25/15 and WMR also
states it was received on 1/25/15.

Anyway, as I search for explanations as to why there has been no movement for 2+ weeks now, I am wondering
if there was some problem with the transmission?!?! In years past, the electronic postmark filing sheet with TT was correct.

I have asked this question to TT and am waiting for a response.

I am wondering if there are others who have filed with TT and have an incorrect electronic postmark but did in fact
receive their refund.
