I am still on one bar… tax topic 152 and still locked out from getting transcripts, I have lived in the same place for years, I have tried every possible variation for the past 7 days… I think I am locked out for no reason. Here’s to patience and hoping that we all see an update by tomorrow. I have not tried calling the IRS, I am super thankful for all of your updates, it is keeping me sane :)

I filed 1/28 and was accepted immediately. I checked my return transcripts for 2014 and they aren’t there. Boo! Hopefully tomorrow. I was able to access the wage, income transcript but not sure if that means anything though. Anyway, maybe tomorrow will bring an update! Good luck to all!!

I file on 1/28/15 Today I check WMR and still one bar, went ahead to check my transcript and I now have a cycle Date of 2150502 and a Code of 846 Refund Issue, So now I am guessing WMR will get updated by tomorrow… if not that’s Ok with me Now I know I am getting Paid…

Awesome, woke up at 3 am to go to the restroom, checked my phone, WMR still at one bar. Grr. Went back to bed. Woke up at 6am – checked WMR – 1 bar. GRRRR (starting to fume like Johnny lightning in fantastic 4) – was afraid to catch my bed on fire!

Then i started to wake up a bit more and checked my transcript – Bam! cycle code 20150502 and i can fully see my whole return on there. Bloop (I was up and going without coffee!)

@nikiB I have USAA too. I have not called them. In the past, SBBT sends the refund to USAA the day they receive it from IRS. USAA only does deposits in the mornings. So, it should be there tomorrow early.

@tina I also use Fidelity. This year I chose to have my fees taken out of my return thru Taxslayer which I have never done before. I’ve always paid up front. I can guarantee that I will no longer have fees deducted from my refunds. Using SBTPG (SBBT) this year has delayed my refund. All my previous years I’ve also had my refund the day before. If you can afford to file and pay upfront, I suggest those of you reading these threads that you do. Using a third party to relay your refund is nothing but a waste of money and time.

I bank with Fidelity. Fidelity has a checking account service, which I highly recommend. They are not a bank but a brokerage. I believe it is technically UMB bank by the routing number but serviced by Fidelity. I will tell you that everyone at work gets paid on a Friday. I get paid on Thursdays- so yes they are very quick to release deposits.

I have the same. Best case scenario is we get an update Tuesday night late into Wednesday morning. DDD hopefully will be sent by Friday. The 570 code will lift once your 896 Healthcare fee is collected, hence the delay. Worst case scenario is we get our 570 code manually lifted and refund sent the 15th or 16th. Also, watch for code 971, as it means a notice has been sent, which is ultimately worst case I guess.

Approved 1/30/15 at noon time.
I am still on Bar 2.
No fees/ filed with freetax usa.

Hi Bart. Okay, so I filed on 1/25 in early evening, accepted that same evening. Blank Account transcript popped up last Tuesday with 2/16 date. I’ve been at 1 bar, topic 152 for a full week with no progress. There was a massive update last night and this morning of people with blank transcripts since last Mon/Tuesday, but I was not one of them. I am confused, what to do. I want to call IRS but keep telling myself to just wait until tomorrow. I told myself I wouldn’t call until I hit the 10 day mark which would be today. I just worried that my file was caught in the glitch and lost in the shuffle with all the resequencing that seemed to have taken place between 1/25-1/26 and I’m in some infinite loop. Which supposedly happened to some people last year. I only think this because it’s the only thing that makes sense with all the info I’ve gathered. My question to you is, should I call IRS now or truly wait out the 21 days?

Hawaii– I have a tax debt, too. My 2011 script shows debt paid and my 2014 scripts are good to go. I’m just missing the 846 releasing the remainder of my $$$. Hey EVERYONE! PER the IRS today. I just spoke to an IRS agent about my return. Super nice guy. He told me that my return had been approved and gave me my DDD. HOWEVER, He noted that the IRS is also sending out audit notices based on the cycle date, beginning Monday. They are planning to audit 25% more returns this year. The first ones to be audited will be those with red flags OR if no red flags, they be drawn from those with ODD cycle numbers….

Here’s what I learned from ordering transcripts over the past couple of years:

1. Your address has to be listed the exact same way it’s listed on your return to get in and view your transcript. If you’ve moved, you will probably have a harder time getting in.
2. Some people who received that fraud alert were eventually able to review their transcript a few days later, however some found that they were under review.
3. You can get in quickly when you sign in as “guest” after you receive the code via email. If you signed in as “guest” one year, you won’t be able to do it again the following year and will need to create an account by clicking the “reactivate user id” link after you enter the code sent to you via email.
4. If your account transcript shows up without the return transcript and has 0’s and “no tax return filed”, your tax return hasn’t finished processing and you will probably see the Return transcript a week later.
5. Once you can see your return transcript, locate the cycle date on the Account Transcript. Example: 20150505 = Tax year 2015, Week 5, Day 5. We are currently on Week 4.
6. Now, the last two years the cycle date started on Thursday and ended on Wednesday excluding weekends. 01 = Thursday, 02 = Friday, 03= Monday, 04 = Tuesday, 05 = Wednesday then repeat. Some people say the cycle days begin on Friday instead of Thursday this year. I guess only those who have received their return already can attest to that.
7. If you call the IRS, it’s hit or miss that you will get someone to look up your account and most are clueless about transcripts and cycle dates (temps).
8. WMR sucks! It works for some and not others. Missing bars are not necessarily a cause for concern and some people get their money before it updates.

Here’s what I noticed this year:
1. Some tax returns are being delayed because of the Obama health insurance (Affordable Care Act- ACA).
2. A lot of people (more than normal) are being held for review if they switched jobs, new address or dependents).
3. Some people are filing one day and getting a DDD within 3 – 5 days (lucky bastards).
4. Some people get a cycle date without the 846 code (refund code) and are then recycled back in the queue and have to wait a little longer for their refund.

I hope this helps! I’m no expert, I’m waiting like many others, but I’ve been viewing my transcripts for a few years now and they’ve been on point.

Accepted 1/28, yet the NJ site says no record of me. When I checked my tax records over the last few years, barring there were no problems, I always got my money 3 weeks from the acceptance date. Hopefully that will be 2/18 this year. Knowing those jackasses, it will probably be later though.

I have a tax debt from 2011. I called the number on the letter I received about my balance. Just a little history, filed on 1/16 via taxslayer. Accepted on 1/20. WMR has shown me at one bar since 1/21. Was able to view account transcript on 1/26 but it was blank. On 1/30 return transcript was available with 0’s and a date as of 2/16/15. I just called to verify that my balance would be taken from my return and was told that there is a delay because I have education credits and they have to verify them due to that being a scam this year. She did tell me that there is a completion date for early this week, but be prepared to wait the full 21 days which puts me at 2/10. So we will see then. Really hoping an update comes soon for all of us who where accepted on 1/20. This is the first year I have ever had to wait this long for any type of update.

@Dan – If you see a pending deposit in your Navy Fed account for tomorrow you can call right now and get it released. The only thing they won’t release is military paychecks. If it’s pending it’s available. We did that last year and got it at like 2:00 pm and it wasn’t supposed to be released until the following day.

This is Santa Barbara Bank & Trust. That is who Turbo Tax uses to take fees out when you opt to have your filing fees deducted directly from your refund. Their website is: https://cisc.sbtpg.com/

I just checked my status and it says they have received all or part of my refund and Bank has forwarded all or part of your income tax refund from the IRS to your financial institution on 02/03/2015, per the IRS refund delivery date.

This is probably the last time that I will use them, my fees ended up being $112.01 and I qualified for the free file but was too anxious to wait for it to become available. My refund ended up coming late anyway compared to the 01/12 that I was accepted. So next time I will save myself the money and just free file a week or two later.

Ok I was accepted on the 14th as part of the test batch…accepted on the 20th and received my federal refund in 6 days just like last year. But I’m concerned about the st ate refund. I’m self employed and I got a message saying it has completed processing abd you will receive correspondence from us in ten days… Does that mean something is wrong? My income isn’t much and it’s the same as last year. I haven’t received anything and it’s over ten days.. Has anyone gotten this message and still received their refund? Should I be worried?
