I filed my taxes on 1-20-2015 accepted 1-20-2015 still one bar on wmr cycle date of 20150402. I ordered my transcripts Friday and viewed them online same day and noticed i have the 896 code along with 570 . after reading some people response to this code I called the irs 15 min ago . I got someone on the phone pretty quickly . She looked at my account and told me its a freeze on my account .She also told me that it would take an additional 2-3 weeks. I don’t owe the irs any money i had my a.c.a. takin out of my refund . I was told their going to being looking further into alot of account with the a.c.a. So it made me wonder if we are being singled out since we filed our taxes honestly. And our there others without th 896 being held up .
This is how my transcripts look as of today. I keep calling the offset number and nothing. I tried calling the IRS and they stopped taking calls for today. UGHHH http://i62.tinypic.com/24vrvw5.jpg
When I call the offset hotline all it says is, your refund MAY be reduced due to an offset.. But no guarantee. They haven’t sent me any warning, or notification about an offset. I have a DDD for 2/4. Does anybody know anything that could help me? Thanks
You are corrrect. I called the irs the other night before they shut down and got a great guy. TT told me my acceptance date was the 12th IT WAS NOT he said my return did not get accepted until the 15th. I knew being an early filer I took my chances because of course, my name is not Hilton or Rockerfellow. Well the very next morning after speaking with him on the 31st I had a DDD for 2/4 so thats when I knew why I had the hold up. I didnt bother with turbo tax about it but I wont believe their acceptance date in the email anymore. So I hope this helps all you anxiously awaiting people. Been there and CAN FEEL YOU ANXIETY. <^. .^> be patient its coming.
Not complaining. I know some have been waiting longer. I just thought I’d start a thread for the 1/30’ers. Accepted 1/30. As of just now, no transcripts available, nothing other than good ol’ Tax Topic 152 in the pizza tracker.
I have the same, I knew I had a tax offset of under $100, they applied that to the old account. Now I have the message on WMR of refund delayed. I called and was told my account is frozen. But, cant get anyone who can tell me why.
What do I need to say to get the IRS to look at my return over the phone?
Some of these reps clearly have no idea what they’re talking about. So I called and let’s just say he didn’t ask for any type of credentials so I’m assuming he was just telling me stuff off the top I his head. He didn’t look into my account at all. Jut told me that the code 570 is a freeze and they’re not allowed to give any information until after those 21 days, which mine would be on the 10th…. And then he said if I didn’t receive a refund by then, it would take an additional 6 weeks Bc of the penalty I have to pay back for healthcare which is only $66. Now that didn’t sound right to me at all. He was surprised that I had my transcript already lol. When I called on Friday a different rep got all of my information and looked through my account and told me i had nothing to worry about. It was just a system issue. I’m more likely to believe the person i spoke with on Friday.
Non update yet. Still has my codes but no refund issued. I’m tempted to call bit know they are going to just tell me to wait the 21/days. Hopefully it changes soon.
my ddd is 2/3 ans although SBBT has received my funds, my bank has yet to release them
It’s all a bunch of bull that the irs tells everyone different shit just so you leave them alone. Every year transcripts are blank until they finish processing and I have never been under review.

“THE” Super Under Paid IT Guy.The last rep I spoke with said the guy that told me about it being deposited today at SBBT ; was likely counting to the 21 day mark from the acceptance date of 01/12. I hope, it really will happen today.

Filed and accepted 1/26 with a ddd of 2/3. SBBT updated an hour ago showing that they have my refund. Waiting for my credit union to credit my account.
I tried asking about transcripts and that didn’t work. I guess I can ask to speak with a supervisor.
No, the lady told me that it’s still being processed. That they didn’t start accepting returns till the 20th-DUH I already knew that. I didn’t get any further with her. I have spoken to 3 reps and not one has asked for my ssn to look up information. Not one. Even though I filed on the 13th, my 21 days didn’t start till teh 20th. All I want to know is if something is wrong. That is all. It’s been 2 weeks. If anyone gets an update please share!!! We all seem to be getting different information.
I filed with H&R this year after using TT for years (won’t make that mistake again) and I have a DDD of 2/4. I called Customer Service today to see if they have received my refund yet and how long after they take their fees would I receive it in my account. They told me it would be an additional 3-5 days! WHAT! Has anyone else had this experience? Does it really take that much longer?
most banks will not release funds until scheduled irs DDD
they earn interest on these deposits, you know.So if I was accepted the 13th my 21 days is up tomorrow?
@Brandy it all depend on the bank… some process in real time, meaning your deposit is credited to your account as soon as the bank receives it, other like mine do batched deposits meaning anything they receive during the business day is held until the end of the day and credited the next morning to your account.

Ok, I need to call again. We are getting way too many different stories. One is told of being reviewed, and now error resolution department. I need answers. So I guess it’s my turn to call.
Anyone using or has used an insight prepaid card to receive their tax refund? How long does it take for them to post your tax refund? My dd date is 2/4 and nothing has posted to my account as of yet but their website says deposits posts 1-3 days early.
Hello everyone I talked to someone from the IRS this morning I was told that my money from the health care bs lol was taken out already even though I still had the 570 code on my transcript and it usually holds it up two to three weeks but because I was accepted on the 21 I should have my refund by the 11th of February…she sounded believable and I hope she’s right and I hope this can help anyone else
wow, so there is going to be a ton of letters going out. There are so many people on the Igotmyrefund board on Facebook who have blank transcripts with dates. This means that all of us on that board will be receiving letters. I’m sorry, not sure that I can believe this one. Way too many of us with half done transcripts. I can truly say the IRS is the best company to give out false information and information to get people off the phone. They know how to fib good. People are being given incorrect information. Did you request to speak with the supervisor?
Yup this has been case as well since 01/30. However my bars disappeared 01/31. I don’t know what it means. Has anyone have any insight on this?
My latest call to SBBT the girl said, the rep I spoke to that told me the IRS has it scheduled for today must have been counting 21 days from our acceptance on the 12th. She said just keep checking.
Guys the post Kevin posted about if you have blank transcripts your under review can’t be true. I was told it was a glitch that kicked us into this week’s processing batch. And I’m sorry but there is like 30 of us on this sight with blank transcripts and I find it highly unlikely that none of us got a letter of review and all 30 of us are under review. Especially those of us with simple tax returns that we file the same every year with no issue previously. Sorry . Don’t believe it.

Or 1-800-829-1040 then press in sequence 1,2,2,4,1.That’s not what I was told. I was told it was a glitch in the system that kicked us to the next week. And I believe that is true because there is a lot of us with simple returns and no. Reason for review. Same taxes every year no problem and we haven’t received a notice as those who are actually under review.
I actually overheard a news story referencing that one day I was im the barbershop. It mentioned something like the iRS has a different audit/review process this yr amd also talkd about staff cuts. Wasnt really paying close attention though…it could b true what ur saying!
I got my 2014 taxes. I never received my 2012 amended return refund. So I checked where’s my amended return and found out it was completed June 2014 . I tried calling irs phone number and it ask for 3 digit extension given…I tried logging back in on where’s my amended return to look at the 3 digit extension needed but now its saying my information does not match their records, and I know all my info was correct…what should I do now? Please help!

So I have confirmed with The IRS (I called and asked for a supervisor) that a blank transcript such as mine means you are under review and will recieve a letter, The review will take up to 60 days and it’s not random something on your return seemed off or suspicious such as the calculations of your expected return, He also said that this years system is new in terms of fighting fraud so there it is folks at least it gives peace of mind rather than knowing nothing. He said that most agents do not have that info avail to them that’s why regular agents can’t tell you when you call.
@what happened. I’m asking you because you seem to know a little bit about this. My transcript shows the 896 for the health care penalty. Right underneath it is a 570 code for Additional Account Action pending with a $0.00 amount. Is that 570 code showing because of the health care penalty?

Is the IRS making deposits Mon thru Fri, or just specific days like Tue or Thur?
