@ready2spend I filed through TT with no fees coming out. If you didn’t have any fees or paid for filing costs prior to e-filing with a card, you will not find your info on SBBT. The money only goes to them if fees are to be taken out prior to being deposited to your bank. This is what is listed in their FAQ:

Why can’t I find my information on your website?

Answer:
Please make sure you are entering the Social Security Number (SSN) without dashes (if you filed a joint return, enter the Primary SSN), the correct refund amount – before deductions – and your filing status. I filed with TT on the 15th accepted by the IRS on the 16th and I can’t get my transcripts and only 1 bar on WMR. I looked back at when I got my last two years deposits and in 2013 it was a Wednesday but only 6 days after I was accepted and last year again a Wednesday however it was 12 days after I was accepted….I thought I was like what the others were talking about in the cycle thing and I can’t look at my transcripts to verify the 05 thing but isn’t it odd that in 2013 I got a DD in 6 days but last year it took 12 days. Both DD’s were on Wednesdays….this is all driving me crazy!!

IS EXACTLY RIGHT, as I stated previously, it IS in fact the “Cycle Date” plus 4 days. At the time of this posting I didn’t have the “+4” information and I was making a calculated assumption of what I knew, what I researched, and previous year returns. So I was right on when it would be DD, because the end result of the pattern was correct, but wrong on the definition of the cycle date. Its like doing Algebra in a sense, you can get the same answer and the solution is correct, but how you got to that solution is wrong. I WAS DAMN CLOSE THOUGH. Lol. Either way, I am happy that when I told people they would have their money Friday, that I wasn’t wrong, and didn’t get anybody’s hopes up for no reason. So in that sense, the post served its purpose. And Thank you @Roger.

Just got off the phone with SunTrust. She said she already sees a deposit coming in on the 30th from the IRS that it was “sitting in the warehouse waiting until the 30th” lol. Sounds like a hold to me :/

The last three transcripts are as followed. 20140604, 20131304, and 20120703. Last year I didn’t get my refund until April. I had a outstanding Student loan and that delay it. 2013 we were delayed until Beginning of April because HRBlock had some error in their code and it kicked our return back. 2012 We were not delayed. This year my wife and I don’t owe anything and hopefully get it the normal time. We generally get ours the first week of February.

After I went back looked all my refund dates over the last 3 years- This is what I found. 2011 -0405 refund date was 2-6-12 (Sunday) 2012 – 0702 refund date was 3-4-14 (Sunday) 2013 – 0601 Original refund date before (1121) was 2-24-14 (Monday) then changed to 3-10-14 (Monday) Looks like I should have my refund by next Monday.

Do you have the text alerts setup for your phone? I have mine setup to let me know still from 2 years ago for over a certain amount. I didn’t get mine yet though. It will send it to me the same time I can see it online. On a side note, I had to call online banking for a check being lost through Chase bill pay and they had a message on there saying “If you are calling about the status of you IRS deposit please check our automated service for your available balance” I guess they are getting pestered for that.

Files with Turbo Tax on 1/20, IRS accepted about 2 hrs later. Transcripts became available 1/27. WMR updated 1/28 with Refund APPROVED, DDD is 1/30.

I was accepted the 20th and today my WMR bars completely disappeared and says a refund date will be available when it is finished processing. And no transcripts. My cycle last year was 20140601. Can anyone tell me what that means?

Same boat here. Bank with Wells Fargo, but no funds yet. Filed: 1/21 Accep: 1/22 DDD: 1/30…I remember calling last year and them telling me they had no way of seeing if something was pending, yet, the money was in my account the very next day. I call BS. lol

Yep, MCRT88 was right about the DDD, but for the wrong reason. The 20150402 cycle date refers to this past Monday, 1/26, not this Friday, 1/30.

The cycle date is not your DDD date – it’s the date your return was processed. As someone else said, DDDs tend to be your cycle date + 4 business days, which is what occurred in this case (as well as last year and earlier).

In other words:

Cycle date = Date Return Processed
Fund release date (date your direct deposit institution is notified, I believe) = Cycle date + 2 business days
Date funds are generally available at your institution = Cycle Date + 4 business days

Therefore, the 20150402 refers to Monday, the funds were “released” today, and they will actually hit your account on Friday.

I’m not saying this to be a jerk to the OP – he did a great analytical job – but I’d rather people fully understand so they know for next year.

I filed on 1/10/15 accepted on 1/12/15 bars and amount disappeared and have not returned, TT dd changed from 1/13/15-2/2/15 to 1/21/15-2/1015. I did not have access to any transcripts up until today and I can only access wages and ACCOUNT transcripts. Under both they state no return filed but has a hoh on it. Has anyone found out why? My brother in laws filed on the same date and still have their bars and is still saying accepted. Anyone have any updates

@sadie: Interesting – did you call them to find them out? I called them last year, the day before the DD actually hit my account and they said they “don’t have any record” of it and “don’t hold direct deposits anyway.” This seems to always be their message to me. I’ve never heard from them that there is a pending direct deposit on my account, even when I explicitly asked them about it. Not distrusting you at all, I’m honestly just curious. I wonder if they are governed by different laws or regulations in New York.

I had no 2014 information on Sunday’s transcript. Then Monday am I had N/A. Then on Tuesday, it all changed to include a cycle date and a code of 846. My WMR is currently at x2 bars, scheduled for DDD on Friday.

Baloney that the transcript does not offer some insight. It was accurate last year, and was again this year.

I have Chase and it will go in Thurs night for us and be available for use on Friday morning/hard posting Fri night. I am getting mine this Friday too. I was hoping we would have ours early, I hope every year like it will change for some reason and we will get it early like the Netspend people do but it never happens. But 100% if your WMR says 1/30 it will be there if the IRS sends it. I am on the West coast and I will see my deposit at 11:30pm-2am, don’t know what time zone you’re in, but my work DD goes in by 11:35pm and the IRS one always hits between the 11:30pm-2am without fail every year.

Hey kgirl I’m OCD too because I can’t think if any other reason other than we are on the weekly cycle. That has to be it because everyone I know has filed accepted and able to order transcripts but they have never owed irs or had refund withheld for any reason. I’m the only one out of the circle that’s unable to order transcripts and my refund last year was withheld to pay irs like 800.00 and of course it delayed it last year. This year I owe NOTHING filed on 17th accepted morning of 20th and still no transcripts. I’m praying it’s the whole weekly cycle thing. Wish I knew more about when updates happen etc…

Hi BartD, I filed through TT on 1/15 accepted by IRS 1/16. I have one bar on WMR with tax topic 152 but I cannot access either transcript yet – both say N/A. In past years I was approved start to finish with money in the bank in 14 days. Doesn’t look the case this year. I think I’m in the weekly group as my codes always have 05 – in previous years anyway. Do you think I may have gotten resequenced in the early batch and maybe something next week? I dont have EIC and all in my household has insurance through my employer, no identity theft issues; I do have education credit and farm deductions but I spoke with Kelly Erb from Forbes and she is not aware of any delays on either form this year…. (I’m in TX by the way)

Out of all the threads I have seen this one is most logical. It seems to be that Your SSN is tied into if your weekly or daily, I have had DDD all hit on Wednesday and I think that is just the cycle that we are put into and no matter how early we file its the cycle we get based on our SSN. Its not the tax software, or where you live…IRS doesn’t go by that everything is done by a verification number (aka your SSN). I had to call them this morning. Was told they got my return on the 21st but I have an email confirmation showing it was accepted the 20th. They said nothing was wrong with my return. If anyone is getting directed to call the identity protection line I would recommend doing so since I found out i had been flagged on my 2013 return and had no clue. The sad reality is we can discuss and ponder all day. Wont make the refund hit our accounts sooner…But it is nice to know that I am not the only one in this waiting boat.

Cycle dates are important, but they mean nothing without a transcript code of 846. If you have one, it should be Monday or sooner.

I understand the anxiety. My wife thinks I’m crazy. She says “just let it go and wait”. I’m in the same boat as you are. What I told you is what I tell myself to try and keep me from actually going crazy.

For now I just have to accept I didn’t get into the first batch of deposits and wait until my status gets updated. No need for me to freak out until I actually am given a reason other than my own fears of screwing something up on my return.

Yesterday I checked transcripts and they were avail for 2014, but none of them had any information. I checked about twenty minutes later and information was available. This was between 8 and 9 in the morning. I’m guessing that they very well could be updated during the day, as is WMR. I’ve checked WMR in the morning to see it at a different status in the afternoon. **shrugs**

Below might be why we are all still waiting when others have received their Ddd before us even though we filed before them.

In the irs link, it explains the difference between daily and weekly processing. Some returns are proceeded as daily and the others as weekly ( not sure how they determine this).

Here is the info:

In January 2012, IMF began processing TEPs daily for daily transactions directed to daily taxpayer accounts. All BMF, EPMF, and IMF weekly accounts or transactions will be processed at ECC-MTB on Thursdays. The acceleration of the cycle results in the inability for a campus to extend a production cycle.

The cycle number used as the GMF Campus Production Cycle for one week will be the same cycle number used as the ECC-MTB Posting Cycles when posting occurs. The cycle number, then, describes the same information being processed.

Example:

The GMF Campus Production Cycle 201504 runs from Thursday, January 22, 2015, through Wednesday, January 28, 2015. The ECC-MTB Posting Cycle 201504 runs from Friday, January 23, 2015, through Thursday, January 29, 2015. BMF, EPMF and IMF weekly transactions and weekly accounts will be processed on the last day (Thursday) of the Posting Cycle.

For IMF, there are three dead cycles each year. For 2015, they are ECC-MTB Posting Cycles 201501, 201502, and 201503. Appreciate you helping people out. Was wondering if you could tell me what to expect from my current situation.

I live in South East Michigan and I filed on 1/8 and was accepted 1/12 (I guess not technically accepted cause of the test batch) . Either way, on WMR I have 1 bar with Topic 152. When I check my transcripts I have an account transcript available but it’s blank other than the name for my wife and I, our SSN, and filing status.

Am I getting close? Should I be worried? I’m not in a hurry to get my refund but I just want to know that I didn’t screw anything up.

I just got this e-mail from SBBT. It takes at least 1-2 business days from the time we disburse your funds to you for the money to be available in your bank account. The money has to travel via the Automated Clearing House (ACH) system, which does not operate on weekends or holidays. This is what was my e-mail to SBBT. I have a DD of 1/30/15.Does that mean I’ll get my refund transferred from your bank to my bank on Mon 2/2/15. The 30 is a Friday. Hope this helps.

I filed the evening of 01/25 (Sunday) and was accepted fairly quick. I had gotten a letter to apply for an identity PIN, which I did and used. WMR showing 1 bar. However, can’t get transcripts because of the PIN. I called the identity protection line, waited on hold for 53 minutes, and was abruptly told to call back in a few weeks as there was nothing they could do. I asked if he could at least check to make sure it’s ok (thus far) and was flat out refused.
