OK, color me stupid but how do you know what cycle you are on if you cant see or get your transcripts? i keep seeing all this daily and weekly stuff and I dont understand it. I filed my daughters along with mine on the same day (1/20) and accepted on 1/20, from the same state and same city, she has a ddd of 1/30 and I have 1 bar / 152 no transcripts. Can someone please explain this to me?

I ussually check before bed when i wake up and every 4 hours in between . As to the time it is ussually overnight but in the past I have seen it during the day. if you filed single you might want to do every 6 hours or you will get locked out. if you filed joint use both socials throughout the day. i use mine till it locks me out and then my wifes

Is it possible that someone who was not a weekly before could have become a weekly this year?

Last year I got my refund in the first batch. The other years I filed before then I actually filed well after they opened up.. Like in March or April or whatever. So for me last year was great but this year SUCKS!!

Is that something that might have happened?

I filed on 1/23/2015 and got accepted like 15 minutes after i filed. I used taxact. This morning i went to see if i could see my transcripts on the irs website and it told me i had to call the identity protection unit. So i called…..waited on hold for 45 minutes the lady i spoke to verified my personal information and i said i wanted to see if my transcripts were ready for 2014 and she looked and said she would mail them out today. So what does that mean? If i can get them over the phone does it mean im done processing? WMR still says processing……im just not understanding.

copied this frm way down near bottom of this feed…. since were all processed on wednesday (if cycle ends in 05) i think we should see our transcripts by 6am tomorrow…. then if so, we can get our cycle off of it and determine our DDD. I do think it will be 2/4…

If the 05 weekly theory is correct, (and I think it may be) I got my transcripts Friday last year 2/7/14 and the wmr update on Sat morning 2/8/14 with ddd on Wed 2/12/14. I was accepted that year on 1/31/14 (2 weeks from acceptance to deposit)
I think the theory holds some weight and if my transcripts update Fri and wmr updates Sat with a ddd of Wed 2/4 I’ll believe it to be true

@blackman2kids I wouldn’t use any special characters, like a period. So I’d just put 4th st sw, but keep in mind if your transcripts for this year aren’t showing yet and you had a different address on last year’s return, they will only accept the address on last year’s return.

Filed TT 1/22 and accepted less than an hour later. WMR still says processing, and I’m not able to pull any transcripts. All except wage are still showing as N/A. This is driving me crazy!! I’ve never had to wait this long. I wish I knew something

Ive been lurking for the past week but was on here last year so I thought I would try to help ease yalls minds…. a MOD on here was repeatedly telling people earlier that if you think your weekly (cycle ends in 05) then its like clockwork every year (or was for her the past 3years) — Transcripts available Thursday/latest early fri — WMR updates with DDD on saturday — for a deposit on the following wednesday. Weeklies always get deposits on wednesdays…or so ialways hae from personal experience… I filed 1/19, accepted 1/20 with TT- one bar..no trannys except wage andincome for 2014. all others say n/a. Do have TT152 on WMR.

Im quite pissed that people after me have money or DDD;s….but im a weekly so…hopefully ill see my trannys tmrw, latest fri. im trying to give hope to a few so hang in there until friday at least…

I’m pretty positive SBBT has our funds NOW and it’s just not showing on their site.

The reason I say this is because other people with a 1/30 DDD have it, either pending on their account, or already deposited to there account. Now, the IRS doesn’t just releas this persons funds and not this persons funds. They release ALL funds at the same time. The hold comes off and away they go to their designated destination (BOA, SBBT, Wells Fargo, Etc.) . The IRS almost always releases funds 2 days prior to your DDD for processing.

I believe SBBT will release the funds tonight/tomorrow, our banks/cards will receive them tomorrow and the funds will post on friday. I use walmart money card for my returns, every single year, and every single year I go through SBBT. It has always been there on the date specified.

I don’t believe the company you used to file matters. I saw a comment earlier that it looks like H&R Block and Turbo Tax filers are still awaiting a DDD. I used Turbo Tax and filed 1/21 accepted within 10 minutes and DDD showed this morning of 1/30. So, I do not think the company used makes a difference. I read on other threads its connected to our social security numbers. People who have EVER in the past had an audit or tax check applied to a debt owed it takes longer only because the codes are always in the system to let them know what has hopened

So if your cycle date says 20150403, by the conclusion we’ve come too, that means your return and refund were approved in 2015 during Cycle week 4 on Day 3. So today.. Now add 4 business days to then and you will have your DDD. Tuesday of next week will be your DDD. Possibly Tuesday night Weds morning. I would expect an update on WMR tomorrow or sat/sun based on when most people get their WMR updated. IT IS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER YOU MUST HAVE TC 846 ON YOUR ACCOUNT TRANSCRIPTS.. if you do, congrats, you should have your money middle of next week!

You will get your money. I filed on the 9th was accepted on the 12th and got a ddd of 30th just like some people who filed and got accepted on the 20th… 8 days after me… does that mean i need to throw a fit about them getting their money on the same day as myself and the fact that they didn’t have to wait as long? no it means who gives a crap?

If you don’t want to let the gov take a loan from you interest free for a year i suggest you learn how calculate correct deduction amounts on your W2. Myself, I would love not to pay a dime to the gov, but i am not tax exempt, and the only reason that I get a return is the child tax credit and even if I paid no fed tax on income for the whole year i would still get money back!

I believe they are giving you the generic response, as with most place, they are not allowed to give specific dates, times, etc…

The IRS doesn’t send the money to SBBT on the 30th. MOST OF THE TIME the IRS sends the money to SBBT 2 days before your DDD, the DDD is the date that the IRS projects YOU to have the money in your account. Remember, the IRS knew that we were getting paid the 30th BEFORE we did, and have clearly already sent funds. Its CLEAR they have already sent funds to their designated locations as some people with no fees taken have already received or have a return pending. In some cases it can take longer than usual and be a day late, on the weekends it would be a couple of days late, but 1 business day. If it goes like it did in past years for me (I am assuming it will given the recent events) the IRS released the funds today, SBBT processed and released them already, your bank will receive them tomorrow sometime, process them, and then should be released to you the following day business day (Friday) late at night.. SBBT should show they received the funds tomorrow and have already released them to be transferred to your account. That is ALWAYS how it has happened for me in the past and that is EXACTLY how events seem to be progressing this year.

@squeaker this is my understanding with SBBT after speaking with people who have used TT/ SBBT for years: they *have* to say 1-2 bus days that is a generic response, they aren’t allowed to say more. But, once the IRS releases funds, it goes straight to SBBT. They take their fees out and then send to the bank, the ACH process only takes a little bit and certainly not days. If this is the case, and if the IRS releases funds tomorrow we will have money Friday for sure or possibly even tomorrow in our bank accounts. If IRS releases funds early enough on Friday, it will go to your bank account or card on Friday, then it is up to the policy of your bank/card as to when the funds can be accessed.
Netspend users that paid no fees got theirs yesterday because that is Netspend policy to make funds accessible based of off a MEMO from the IRS that the funds would be forthcoming. IRS did not release funds to Netspend early, that is just their policy (a smart one, more people will use them for refunds because of it).
Hopes this helps guys we just gotta hang in there.

Same here! So frustrating people with later accepted dates already have ddd. I’m thinking it’s because I used HRB . Transcripts say n/a and my codes from past two years are both different.

Filed 1/25, accepted within minutes, WMR shows I filed 1/26 (I did it late at night, so I’m guessing this is all Eastern time), still 1 bar TT 152, was able to see all my transcripts today , they were dated 1/28 (today), code 20150403.

Is that a Monday deposit? (and if so, how does that work? My bank BOA generally only updates/processes at midnight Mon-Fri. Will I not actually have access to it until Tuesday morning? Or will it just “go through” Sunday night/Monday morning?)

I flied my taxes 10am the 26th got accepted at around 10:20. Mine shows the first bar on the WMR site. I cannot order my transcripts yet. Last year I got my refund April 28th. As Long as I get mine before then I am going to be perfectly fine =) Had an offset last year for student loans and to file injured spouse form and all that. This year no more student loans WOOHOO so Hopefully I get my refund in Feb.

@Rick: That means that a preliminary check yielded no errors. Meaning that your name, SSN and DOB matched up with what the IRS had on file for you. It will be moved to approved once it’s done processing, if not errors are found.

Reading the original post of @Lilly2015 and the reply of @JenJen gives me an ounce of hope. I never realized that I the confirmation number had anything relative to cycle dates. I filed with H&R Block and my confirmation number has 20150215, which according to @Lilly2015 would be dead-cycle and retried during 201504 with the end date being tomorrow (01/29/2015). Is that correct? Is there a possibility that my return will be approved tomorrow with a DDD?

How exciting if that is the case. Hopefully this all is accurate!!

I wish I had gotten a message saying transcript isn’t available. I got the following message instead, which freaked me out:
We cannot process your transcript request. Please contact the Identity Protection Specialized Unit (IPSU) at 800-908-4490.

I was an early filer. I filed on the 9th and was accepted on the 12th. I was part of the test group. I was part of the test group last year also and was one of the first batch to get refunds. When I check “where’s my refund” it is still at the one bar with the 152 code.

I called the IRS Identity number listed in the alert message when I couldn’t open my transcripts. After waiting on hold for over an hour I spoke to a rep who while courteous, seemed impatient and confused as to why I was bothering her. I told her about the message I received saying to call the Identity Protection Unit so that is why I was calling, fearing I was flagged or a victim of identity theft. She asked if it has been three weeks since my acceptance date. I replied, “No.” She said then that message meant that since your refund hasn’t been processed yet of course the transcript isn’t available.” I asked her if she could look up my information to be certain about that and she said they won’t look anyone up unless it’s been three weeks.

Why in the heck didn’t I simply get a message saying my transcript isn’t available. Why panic taxpayers with a message that insinuates some sort of identity fraud? It also causes their phone lines to be tied up with concerned individuals like myself!

I hope she knew what she was talking about and that something really isn’t wrong but she was being too flippant to care!

I think it will be Monday before we receive our funds. That is what SBBT is telling me. They said “It takes at least 1-2 business days from the time we disburse your funds to you for the money to be available in your bank account. The money has to travel via the Automated Clearing House (ACH) system, which does not operate on weekends or holidays.” I kinda hoping that is just the generic response and it comes on Friday or Saturday.

Currently have a tax topic 152 at the bottom of WMR. What does this mean exactly? Are they finished with my taxes? I noticed also that a lot of people that filed up until the 20th have received their refund or have a pending deposit. People from the 21-23rd have a refund date of the 30th. Could that mean we possibly might be the next to receive our date? Help me out^_^ btw I’m in Hawaii
