I just read on another forum that sbbt always has the funds from the irs 1-2 days before the did. I’m not sure what the hold up is this year.

I filed 2/5 and got this reference code like 2 days later. I called them yesterday and the lady said didn’t see anything wrong with my return, it was still processing. Checked wmr this morning and my 1 bar is back. I’m head of household with no spouse.

@confused if it was suppose to be DD and they sent you a paper check it is because there was an offset or bank rejected funds. I think that is the only couple of reasons why that would happen.

I have a 2/11 date filed 1/26 used HRBLock and still waiting. Most of the time I would not see my deposit until after 9AM EST. This is when I used the emerald card. This year using bank account and still nothing. I did get my state today though

Wmr updated to one bar overnight for both me and my friend. I can order my friend’s transcripts but not mine. My experience last year was similar. Wmr never updated until my refund was already sent out meaning I never got a date. I’m hoping for the same thing this year. Everyone I know who has file received their refund within 5-7 days some had a DDD and some never got a DDD.

WMR is still the same but I was able to order return transcripts this morning. I was never able to before. So I’m crossing everything that we get them this Friday!

Filed 1/19 hrb said it was sent 1/20 irs showed recieved on 1/20 but it was not accepted until1/22 bar never moved until it showed approved on 2/7 and we are still waiting it is now 2/10 and nothing yet although the irs says by 2/11 and to call on 2/16 if we havent seen it by then ……..

Haven’t checked with my in laws if they’ve gotten mine today. Still 2 bars on WMR. I have a possible offset, but still no offset note or topic on WMR. In law confirmed that her BoA typically shows processing in the DD date but won’t post till the 12th. We shall see….

I think some folks are confusing (accepted) with (approved), on the refund cycle charts. Clearly they’re estimating the DDD from when the refund is approved, not from the date the Irs accepts the return.

Update: I called 1 (877) 777-4778 (option 1) yester 2/9/15. A guy advised my that I would be getting a manual refund due to my bankruptcy. Also, that my file had just been updated to reflect a refund being processed that morning and to call back later in the week to confirm refund issue date.

@Jared if you haven’t gotten any answers anywhere else… go to irs.gov and you will see a transcripts link in the middle-right side of the main page. Go there and then click order them online, you’ll have to verify your identity and jump through their hoops but yes they can show you info that WMR won’t. Most people are able to pull their transcripts a day before WMR updates, but WMR has been having issues anyway and is not always updating properly or bars are disappearing. If you can pull your 2014 account transcripts you will see some codes. 846 (refund issued) is the one you want to see but there may be more depending on your situation. A quick google search can answer any of your code questions.
You will also be able to see a cycle code that should indicate your ddd. Mine is 20150505 which translates to week 5 in the irs cycle and the fifth day in my cycle week which is Wednesday (they start on Thurs and only count business days for the cycle week) This gives me a ddd of Feb 11th. If you were to get 20150602 your ddd would be Feb 13th since cycle 6 would start on the Thursday after cycle week 05.

That’s strange. I had to order a new card last year and my refund showed up before the card. I went to ace cash express, where I got the netspend card, and they gave me a temp so my money would be accessible. It was there immediately when she hooked my account to the card. Definitely call them, or if you can go to a check cashing place that does netspend, they can look it up too. I’d rather drive a mile to the check place than wait on hold forever.

@AC I used TT and had two 1098-Ts to file with a w-2 and a 1099-misc and I filed on 1/31 and accepted on 1/31. I got a cycle code of 20150505 on my transcripts on Sat 7th and my WMR updated on Sunday with a DDD of 2/11. I just wanted to let you know that I don’t think it has anything to do with using TT or your 1098-T. You may have fallen into one of the many glitches that have occurred, but maybe not. Stay positive :) I have seen people post on different threads who were stuck at one bar on WMR or their bars disappeared and they got their refund. Just keep an eye on it and if you’re worried you could call them. Good luck everyone!

Hey, so I also have a 570 code. The strange thing is mine appeared after my bank rejected my return. The IRS was only supposed to send me a paper check but now I HAVE A 570 CODE. oops sorry about the caps. Hahaha, anyways….I called and I have been given about seven different reasons. The irs has to review info to make sure your address is correct, they are verifying income, they just hold your money for 30 days…etc. im so irritated. Anyone else have a situation like this, or know whats up?

Mine did that as well. First it updated at 3am then a few hours later it updated the remaining transcripts. Its a matter of the system catching up with your status. It may already be finished.

Calling only won’t be much help honestly. I called today about three time and got no help. Hell one rep even asked if i filed in 2010,11,12,or 13 which let me know they didn’t look into my acct at all. Pissed me completely off. I received my 12C letter about a week and a half ago and I faxed the 1095-A and Form 8962 back to them. They had no record of receipt of either. Just getting frustrated because I have been accepted since 1/13. I knew it would officially be accepted until the 20th but it has been too long to have no answers.

@diane: I don’t know if I’d honestly go into lalaland of conspiracies and all, but it’s the government, they drag their feet. Hell I’m at my 21 day point right now and I STILL haven’t receive my 12c letter. TBCH, I’m going to assume the “Errors Resolution” department has X amount of agents vs every other department we all call and talk to, and since it’s in that department they are all manually processed, taking time, etc.

@kay: Did you go through the marketplace at ANY point to even see if you were eligible? Only asking because that’s the only way they’d say you went through the marketplace??? Secondly, it’s not waiting 4 weeks to receive the letter, I was told 5-10 days from the day it’s sent (I guess the mail is slow even when the government is sending it) and then 4 weeks from when they RECEIVE the information they are asking for. As for the no number to call, yea no-one ever told me a number, I just call the number in this thread, and I’ll probably do so again tomorrow since “officially” they’ll be able to look into it more. I’m not expecting a different answer or anything, but more-so maybe some information such as when the letter was sent or anything generic.

As for anyone thinking of doing the hardship approach, the IRS agent today said that you obviously need verifiable eviction notice/shut-off notice to fax to the TAS and even at that, you’ll only MAYBE get the exact amount released that’s shown on that. There is no “hey I got this shut-off notice, I need my return expedited” in a general sense.

Jen J it sucks…I spoke with 3 different people today and the last person of course told me that I had to wait out the 21 days before they could tell me anything. AFTER I had already spoken with someone who told me that I had a fraudulent issue and not to expect my return for up to another 7 weeks. This ish sucks. I am beyond pissed and just trying to pray and keep the faith that my return comes within the next two weeks, I have a grip planned to DR the first week of March and it was based on my receiving my tax return. My flight is already paid for. I feel sick everytime I think about it

So if you’re an DMF (weekly) which I am I can tell based on my confirmation # 201503 which is just year and cycle date, that means our deposits or updates are only once a week on Wed because the ccycle period starts on Thursdays and end Wed the following week. Am I reading that right ? So does that mean because I filed 02/06 I won’t get an update on wmr til Wed?
