Candy the delay and motice is because u filed 2013 in this tax season.. I don’t know what the letter is cause they don’t put that on your transcriots.. If you asked for DD then you will get DD not a check

I have a deposit date of 2/9. I split my refund this year. I got the 1 money friday night. The other money which is going on a walmart preferred moneycard i am still awaiting a deposit. So i will not be using this walmart card moving forward.

I already received my 2014 but also filed 2013….I have a 20150505 transcript cycle but got the code 846 and 971…..there is no code on what kind of notice was sent….Also I requested direct deposit is that available when you file previous years…if I am getting a paper check when should it come ? Shelly the 570 could be the fact you have no filed and they are verifying income/eic and so on… if you have to notice issued that tells me there is going to be a second letter going out to.. you return may have been flagged as a risk

Kelli yes you have to file an amendment return and that will get your money back… but,.. is it worth it… also that foreclosed hbrc for,=m you must also file next year as well or you will owe again… thats because if you buy a house with in 2 years of losing the main home you still owe the credit… if you didn’t get a house you have to state that 2 years in a row

Ejsmom2014 yes thats prob what it is…. 570 with the date is nothing cause they can take 45 days for the 570 then take extra time on that.. the 2/23 would have been the refund do date from the cycle but since it was frozen that doesn’t matter

Hi Bart I recently I filed my 2012, 2013, and 2014 taxes all in the same year. I already received my refund for 2014. I am still waiting for 2012, and 2013 all three refunds were supposed to be direct deposit. I received the 2014 refund on the 2/4/15. all three returns had a cycle date of 20150405 . I have codes 971 and 846 for both 2012 and 2013 both codes are dated for 2/16/2015. are you able to tell me what that means. I haven’t received any new notices from the irs. and would the IRS be able to do dd of all three refunds into the same account

Same codes 570, then the 971. I could pull up my transcripts 2/1 and all I had was the 570 then Friday 2/6 the 971. The only thing different was the new heath care this year. I called the IRS they said that I would be getting some letter. The guys was saying something about identity and then the letter may ask me about income or to provide additional information. He said to go over my return which I have many times now and be proactive. But its crazy that they don’t tell you what the letter is about when they know its being sent out. Why all the mystery. Its all madness.

I filed with taxact on 02/01/2015. It was accepted that same day. I had a DDD of 02/09/2015, I got everything deposited to my Amex BlueBird account and it was on it at 11:59 p.m. PST on 02/06/2015. I was thinking they would wait until Monday to post as some banks do, but was very glad they released it over the weekend. :)

I don’t think they’re down on Saturdays. I got my DDD on 2/7 (Saturday). Checked it 2/7 3 AM, no update. System went down for a bit. Checked again 2/7 4 AM and I had my update.

It’s been down for me all day long. Checked this morning, then at 1pm, 3, 5, and so on, but it’s still down. I don’t believe it’s usually down this long even on Saturdays. It goes off eastern time at 3:30 am. I’m in AZ and it updates at 1:30am for me, and takes about 15 or 20 mins for it to come back up usually.

2/11 ddd using netspend. Nothing yet, but am hoping possibly Monday afternoon or Tuesday for sure. My funds always hit between 3:30-5:00. And Netspend will deposit on weekend, it’s IRS that do not release on weekends…. or at least thats been my experience as Payroll ACH has deposited on a weekend a few times.

Netspend does deposit 15 minutes within receiving funds, however I’ve always gotten it 2-3 days earlier than my said DDD. Last year I was scheduled for 2/12 and got it 2/11 which has been as close as I’ve come but I’ve been using netspend since 2006 and have always used DD and never had a problem.

Here is my Tax refund process this year.

Filed Jan 28th through turbo tax
Accepted Jan 28th for both State and Federal
Feb 2nd IRS intercepted state return for Sallie Mae
Feb 3rd Bars went missing
Feb 5th transcript available with a 971 and a 846 refund issued code. However refund amount was $100 more than I was originally told
2-7 bars were back and I was Approved with a DDD of 2-11

TT didn’t calculate numbers right for EIC which caused them to pull my tax return for a soft review.

Hey Bart, I filed my tax return on the 21st, and was accepted the 23rd. Checked my tax transcript and the account balance says $-XXXX as of Feb.16 2015. The codes are: 150 (tax return filed) cycle date 20140405, 806 (withholding), 766 (credit to account), 766 (credit to account), 768 (EIC), 570 (additional account action pending) 826 (credit transferred out), 971 (notice issued), 971, notice issued. I have not filed taxes since 2010 because I was not working. The 570 was because I owed in from the last tax return I filed and am assuming the first notice is them informing me they have taken that amount from my return. I was wondering if you have any ideas why there was a second notice sent and when (or if) I should be expecting my return. WMR is still at one bar. Thank you!

Yea, Ive seen dates so far of wednesdays and fridays for DD. Also, the charts I saw had 2/6’ers listed as possiable DD dates of 2/11 and 2/16. So somehow I guess it depends on when you filed and how early (time of day) it was accepted? I have no idea. Just weird how the end date for each cycle has two DD dates possible, and 2/6 is the end of one cycle AND the beginning of the next cycle. I think they do that just to drive us insane lol. Its like they have a meeting, “hey! Lets see how much we can screw with people this year! I know, make the end date the same as the date for the next cycle, so they cant be sure which date they will have for DD!” LMAO, cant you just see the IRS doing that?

Im rather calm this year, as I have NO BILLS to catch up on, go me!! Quite happy about that. So getting it NOW isnt such a huge deal. Would be nice, but it wont make or break me having to wait a week.

My two coworkers and I all filed and accepted on 1/28. All have EIC. Two , including myself have Education credits. The one without EDU was approved and got her money a few days ago. Me and the other have one bar, no transcripts. I am a research junkie, sometimes that is good, sometimes not. I found current year info with delay for some with EDU credits due to high level of fraud. The IRS wants to verify the enrollment and 1098t. Some articles said coukd be may before they get the 1098 from colleges to verify. Here is a link to a few things I read….

On Saturdays, the IRS systems go down. It doesn’t mean they are doing updates, nothing changes on the weekend because no one is working on those days. It will come back up Sunday evening. But, it will still have the same info displayed as it did before it went down.

Monday between 3am and 6 am EST will be the first time they update it for the week.

So last year I filed my taxes and they ended up taking out $250 for half of the homebuyers credit repayment that my ex husband and I got. They however did not take it out of his because he entered some information that he didn’t tell me to enter letting them know the house was foreclosed on. This yr I entered the info and it said I didn’t owe a repayment.
My question is….. Is there anything I can do about getting that $250 back from last year or just forget about it?

If you can see your 2014 ACCOUNT transcript with a cycle code 20150601 AND code 846 (meaning refund issued) then your DDD SHOULD (according to my expierance) be Febuary 12, 2015! If you don’t have the 846 on ACCOUNT transcripts then that cycle code means nothing about approval or getting your money. If it does have the 846 code, that means you’ve been approved but the IRS has NOT updated WMR for you yet. 2015 is the year 06 is the week (Thursday Feb. 12) of the year and 01 is the cycle day for the IRS. The IRS week starts on Thursdays.
-Thursday is cycle day 01
-Friday is cycle day 02
skip Saturday&Sunday
-Monday is cycle day 03
-Tuesday is cycle day 04
-and Wednesday is cycle day 05!
Then it starts back over Thursday as cycle day 01. So on and so on. ALSO, I learned some helpful information about WMR updating- they really do update everyday but it’s for showing acceptance to recent files!
They update and post DDD only at these times.
-ONLY overnight Saturday when your DDD will be on the following Thursday.
-Overnight Tuesday when your DDD the following Friday
-Overnight Wednesday when DDD for following Monday
-Overnight Thursday when DDD for following Tuesday
-Overnight Friday when DDD for following Wednesday.
I know this is a very long message but I really was to help you understand since people have so much crap going around. I didn’t mean to write a novel. LOL.
(FYI:my cycle code was 20150505 which means 5th week and 5th IRS day of the week which is what I posted. I woke up Saturday morning (Friday overnight update) to a DDD of 2/11/15. Which is a Wednesday!

The message I am getting right now is they can’t provide me any info with my refund. I filed 1/28 accepted the same day no movement except able to view account transcripts with all 0000 yesterday. This morning I woke up and wmr had a 9001 code and now wmr is down. # 1 is it down because of updates and question #2 if it is down bc of updates is everyone down or just people that is actually being updated?

Any help on this would be appreciated. I’m so confused thanks

Bart just heard Turbo tax ceased all tax returns because of thousands of tax returns fraudulently filed. Dont know how long the hold up but people better file with someone else because no tax returns until they take off the freeze. Whats your thoughts on this latest development. So all you filers who filed last week with Turbo Tax I think your in for a long wait for identity issues. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but start reading news items. Thanks for all you do for these people.
