Stuck on one bar
Can view account transcripts but are blank besides name, ssn, and address. States no return filed. I have been able to view my account transcripts since Monday and I haven’t had any updates. I’m losing my mind as to why it’s taking so long and ppl who have filed after have gotten there refunds or at least transcripts or ddd.

Jami stuck again this year ….the amount for the penalty should be next to the 896 , the 570 is ‘holding’ your return from going out to you before that 896 amount is sent to the treasury, thats why if you only have 570 and not the 896 it’s a hold for something else/some other offset

I filed and was accepted on the same day 01/27 just checked today 01/30 and I can see my transcripts. I have a cycle date of 20150405. So I’m hoping from what I have been reading that means I get it Feb 2nd. But then February 16th is showing on my transcripts too. So I’m a little lost on if it’s the cycle date that shows when I’m going to get my refund or the other date that’s on there. If anyone knows that will be great.

looks like your diredirect deposit will be wednesday or thursday of next dont worry look for an 846 code in that transcript . you are probably still processing

I filed and was accepted the 20 within minutes. Never any offsets bills paid up as far as student loans go. No tax debt etc. same tax situation I can only order my account transcripts. I notice in past cycles in prior years my return is always later in the batches. I have one bar since 10 am on the 20th. Tax topic 152. Should I just hang out knowing when I’ve gotten my return in years past? Or panic ? Thanks so much

Filed on 1/28, accepted 1/28. Code 152, cannot view transcipts as the IRS website SUCKS and locked me out because their identity verification SUCKS. Dude who built ACA website is working on IRS one as well so that’s just wonderful. /end sarcasm

In answer to your question, I filed early because last year a lot of people where I work were victims of identity fraud so we were advised that we should file as soon as we can to reduce the risk of someone else filing with our SS#’s. When I filed on the 9th with Taxact.com, I knew they wouldn’t submit it until Jan 20th when filing season opened. I got a message on the 12th or 13th saying I was in a test batch and was accepted. I didn’t think I’d get my refund any sooner than those who filed on the 20th, but I did think since I was in a test batch, I would at least be in the first run of checks they cut. I can’t view transcripts (get message to contact identity fraud dept—which I did and was treated like, “duh, of course you got the message, we haven’t processed you yet.” How about giving me an error message saying not available instead of freaking me out that I was a victim of identity fraud and tying up the phone lines on hold for an hour)? I have no refund date either.

Finally! Checked my transcripts at 12 only account was available. Checked it again to review about 10 minutes ago and all my transcripts are there. I’m hoping that means things are moving along quite nicely. From what I’ve read on other posts, a date of 2/16/2015 would mean I would get my refund anywhere from 14 to 10 days before that, think that’s right? WMR hasn’t updated yet, but I think it will over night! FYI I had an offset from past federal taxes that showed on my transcript and the remainder was issued to me with a code 846. I had it sent to a Walmart money card, hoping it’ll release it a little early, but just so thankful to see some progress. Anyways, thought I’d share to prove that transcripts update all day long obviously and that in my case with an internal offset, it doesn’t seem to have delayed me. Filed 1/26, accepted about an hour later, last year was in 05 cycle!

Never two of the same answers from these irs people. that makes sense except, it seems, if the penalty was already calculated in your refund amount by the tax preparer (or software) then it has already been taken out and that is why there is a $00.00 by the 570. as if it has already been offset and taken and put wherever the he– it goes. If so we should be unfroze(?) unfrozen, whatever. Just wondering if anybody has an amount other than oo.oo next to 570?

Well I don’t have the 896 and 570 code I only have the 570 code. Okay I called the IRS this morning….. But I was told that it’s a system issue and I’ve done nothing wrong and everything was done right. I will get my refund but he didn’t say when…… However I got my state refund. :-) but I need that federal though. Lol. I won’t complain. In due time.

The thing is this isn’t like any other year. The issue is that this year there’s budget cuts for the IRS and they have 17,000 fewer employees (if I remember correctly). Just think of how many people have filed tax returns and are waiting to get there money. There’s no way everyone will get their money in the first batch or even the second. I don’t think it even has anything to do with your SSN, how you filed, when you filed(for the most part), etc. It’s just a matter of when they get to your return.

I got my blank transcripts the same day other people got their completed transcripts(the people who got their money today). That tells me what I was in fact first in line to get my taxes processed but it’s just taking longer. Could it be because my refund is so high? Could it be because I I claimed 2 dependents, EIC, CTC, and AOC? Possibly. We won’t know though.

Hi everyone,
So I filed and was accepted same day on 01/16/2015. Always had one bar with standard topic code 152., and transcripts N/A. This morning I woke up and finally saw my account transcript, everything matched and received the new cycle code that would give me the 02/04/15 DDD, with the standard 02/16/15 end date. No codes for health penalties and no offsets. But also NO 846 for refund issue, my transcripts ends with all my credits. Just in the past hour I can now see ALL my transcripts, and still no changes in codes, but also still no 846 refund issued code. Should I assume I’m still being processed, and I just have been batched for deposit yet, or etc. Any insight or thoughts would be great. Thanks everyone! :)

batman how often is the IRS agent right… and if i am wrong then how come u don’t have a DDD yet…. its delays it 2-3 days like i said before. it doesn’t delay it months…. and keep saying the 12th that means nothing 20th is when the clock starts ticking… even if you are a test batch… Also if you don’t like my advice or answers then go to another page… i have help 100’s of people on here for free… you act like i can pull up everyone’s files and give them exact answers… am i wrong sometimes yes of course i just know the process and how it works… enough said

aya it means you’re in final stages to being complete….. and ordering them online can be tricky including if you abbreviated the address on the return… it has to be exact…

filer2014 its just not done yet relax 1-2 days and it all should come up… the 16 is a little far next Friday i am thinking….

I don’t think that we are having issues with processing I think it’s just taking longer because of the budget issues and lack of IRS employee’s. Normally I receive my refund in a week but I’m thinking that we’re being pushed back as we didn’t make the “deadline” while they processed us and so we’re going into the “next” batch. I’m pretty confident we will see an update Sat night.

The reason why you can’t find anything on this is because the people who had this problem previously shortly after received their refunds and didn’t have a reason to go back to these sites. Most people are just here to find out where THEIR refund is and once they get it they don’t come back. I’m hoping if anyone here does get an update or a DDD or something they post back to let the rest of us know. The good news is that if this is true that means we should be getting our money soon.

If you still have Tax Topic 152 and you’re accepted and you have access to blank transcripts, I can only think that it’s just taking longer to process. As I said, I’m pretty confident most of us will see an update Sat night or Monday night. My advice to anyone else who is growing anxious and inpatient is just to try and not think about it too much. Know that you’re accepted and you will get your money it’s just a matter of time.

Ive tried looking at years past tax returns to see some sort of similarities and nothing. I have extra taken out of my check each year so I get a bigger refund. I will NOT do that again. I don’t like this waiting game.

I have a rushcard but I have had it for a while. I called rushcard earlier and they told me that the will not post taxes early. They post them on the date that the IRS has told them to. I got 20150405 cycle code and 825 today. to hoping for 2/2 deposit date. :)

They aren’t done in a certain order. I just think they are handed over I batches and processed. Just because some have received DD is not an indication that anything is wrong. Patience my friends and Irs release those funds lol. It’s coming!!

Hey there! I have a quick question and if anyone has any info, I’d appreciate it greatly. First and foremost, I updated to 20150405 with 846 this morning.

If everything pans out, we are scheduled for DDD of Wednesday. My question is: I use Netspend. Is it possible I will get it 2 days earlier (Monday) or do they send Wednesday? If you use Chase, BOA, etc. do they take 2 business days from Wednesday to process?

I don’t think it matters whether you filed before or after opening. I have been excited since Jan 12th and I was just able to see account transcript today, almost 18 days later. I think its not done in order just when they are up. I have that 846 code everyone is talking about and 2-16-15 issued date.

I ask this question with the utmost respect. If the IRS said they would not be processing returns until 1/20, why did so many people file as early as 1/9? It seems as though a lot of those who did file prior to when the IRS was “open” are having a terrible time with the progress of their returns. I filed on 1/23 and my sate refund was in the bank 1/29 and federal refund was available this morning (1/30). I feel bad for all those who filed way before me but are still waiting.

“OMG. I tried to upload the video of my conversation with the tax law department. They handle all the healthcare penalty stuff. This is what she said……. They were just informed this morning that the WMR site is not updating properly and they are working on it. She sounded very surprised that we are able to view our transcripts. She says that we have all processed if we can see them and that yes there is a hold but not really a hold per say. We are waiting for the penalty to come out of our refunds before being released, She also said that since they handle ALL of the healthcare penalty stuff that if we did have holds that they would know about it. It is being treated as an offset because they need to get the funds out. The reason it is taking a little longer to get the funds than usual is because the penalty is not going to its usual places, like student loans, back taxes and back child support. We WILL be processed completely BEFORE the 21 day mark. (theres that wonderful 21 day thing again).
Anyway, she said since this whole healthcare thing is new, the rest of the IRS does NOT know how to answer us. The advocates do not know either. The only ones that know anything are the healthcare tax law dept. We should not listen to anyone else. She assured me that we have nothing to worry about. On that note, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE code 896, YOU NEED TO CALL and find out what your 570 code is for. This only pertains to those with the 896/570 code. She also said that there is NO WAY anyone could say that the 570 will fall off on the 6th. It just depends on how fast they can get the penalty taken out of each refund. AGAIN< IF THERE WAS A HOLD OR IF WE WERE SUSPENDED THEY WOULD KNOW IN HERE DEPT. THERE IS NO HOLD PER SAY OR SUSPENSION ON OUR REFUNDS.

Fitbliss…my bars and refund amt were mussing for over a wk! Still had TT 152 though. Could pull up acct Tran today and it had refund code and date of 2/16. So that was a relief!.wmr still hasn’t updated. IRS seems to be having major slowdowns and or glitches this yr. We had w2s, extra small bus income, and ed credits for our daughter. Glad I can finally see some progress! Hang in there! Your d day is coming soon!
