I bank with Wells Fargo and have never received my refund early. It’s always posted in the early morning hours on the day it was scheduled to be deposited. Hooray to the ones at Wells Fargo that get theirs early!! I’d love to get mine early! Mine is set to be deposited on 2/11 but 2/10 would be awesome! :)

We filed with Turbo Tax 1/24, accepted 1/26. NO UPDATE. Called the IRS today and spoke to a super nice rep who actually researched our account. The first time she came back she asked if we ever had an issue with our returns … I told her no (because we haven’t) … She came back a second time – with the same question … third time she told me our refund was pulled for Identity Theft – seriously?!?! She said while it is investigated it could take 90 days. She told me to call back in two weeks to see if I can get an update. Our filing status, dependents – all the same from the last few years. Our refund is even within dollars of previous years … how the heck do we get pulled for Identity Theft?! SO MAD!!

I filed my taxes with Liberty Tax who uses Republic Bank. Wheres my refund says its was sent on the 4th but give until the 9th and I have. I go to republic bank website says my info is invalid. call the 866 number says my ss# is not in the system. Of course there is no live representative. Im not receiving dd Im supposed to get a check the same day Republic Bank takes out their fees. I have no idea where the hell my refund is and no one is giving me any answers. I will never use any tax professional that goes through republic bank. This is beyond ridiculous. where is my money?? So frustrating

@faith I used Liberty in the past, but I stopped going to them because I had a major headache trying to cash the check they issued me. Apparently WalMart didn’t like the way their checks were made that year and they had MANY issues with people not being able to cash the checks their that year. I had to take my check back to Liberty and wait for them to issue me a new check and have my dad cash it for me at his bank. I don’t know if they have the same problem this year or if they fixed it like I said this was probably 2 years ago but just a heads up!

I would say that No News is Good News. The people that found themselves being reviewed and having to send in additional paperwork were notified. Many of the 1/28 fliers were unable to view transcripts and WMR had yet to update while their refunds were deposited. Also some of us 1/29 were not actually accepted till 2/2 even though our preparers sent us confirmation emails stating we were accepted the same day. Keep the Faith- I’m keeping my fingers crossed for y’all. But I will say- call the Offset Hotline- the people answering the phones tend be more helpful. Fib a little. Tell them you have an offset but without an amount or you already have a DDD and you checking that you do not have an offset. They then will confirm or deny that you have an offset and give your correct DDD if hey can see it. Some people might fuss at me for telling you to fib, but manners and niceties go a long way when speaking to any of the Reps.

I filed on 1/31/15, approved on 2-4 and received x dollars on 2/7 in one account and nothing in my Fifth Third account. Is this something that should cause concern. My refund date is 2-9 and my cycle is 20150503. IRS website doesnt indicate that the refund has been sent. I show nothing pending for my 5/3 account.. Any ideas?

I just spoke with HR Block and the agent i spoke to told me that it’s like 2 different direct deposits are set up for your refund. One is sent to HR Block bank for just the fees and the remainder is sent to the bank acct you chose. So there should be no waiting time whatsoever. It’s been a while since i’ve gotten a refund, so i’m confused as to how all this works. Hopefully that agent was correct because i need my money Wednesday and not later lol.

Last week (can’t remember if it was Thursday or Friday), I got my DDD of 2/10. I have my funds being deposited into 2 different accounts (one is my mom’s, for money I owed her). Friday she told me her money was showing up as pending, but not available. Today we’re both still at the same place, hers is still pending and mine doesn’t show up at all. Hopefully tomorrow at some point we’ll both be satisfied!

I’m in the same boat. My bars went missing Jan 31. Transcripts are blank too. This will be the last time I ever file early. I went through the same BS last year and didn’t my refund until June. Next year, I’ll wait until April to file.

Ive been on hold now for approx 25:55 and counting…. did she say about how long it would take to receive your transcripts or even if she saw a DDD date for your refund? Same situation here! Filed and accepted 1/20 through TT. No updates at all. No transcripts, no letters in the mail, only one bar on WMR. My 21 days will be up tomorrow. I have never experienced this type of delay before. Filed with TT for last 6 years and always had my refund within 10 days. Information the same last year, so I don’t know what the hold up is. The lack of information available is VERY frustrating. At least I know I am not alone.

Yep, It was the number that was listed on the Transcript Error screen regarding ID Fraud. I told the women on the phone that this was ridiculous and no fraud had occurred. She gave me some lame excuse that sometimes the computers think that people are trying to hack in. I told her, yes but not on my first log in attempt when I answered every Credit Score Question correctly. I am a software programmer for a living with 2 degrees in I.T. I couldn’t believe this excuse she was giving me. She didn’t even offer to reset my account so that I could log in. All she could offer was to mail me copies in the mail.

Anyway….that number was 1-800-908-4490.

I’m just fed up with the IRS. They take my hard earned money in a second but when it comes to giving back what is rightfully mine, they take their grand old time!

What really stinks is that even people who are up on their 21 days cannot get any information on what the problem is. I have seen where they have even been told it is going to take an additional 21 days. This is beyond ridiculous. We can wait it out, if no update before 21 days is over, then likely still not get any information on the hold up. That is plain scary.

Hey Bart, I’m sure you’ve answered this today already, but i couldnt find anything. what is most people’s experience of a DD date after completing identity verification. the IRS rep said “we ask for 6 weeks”. i thought i heard some people saying they were still able to get their refund within their 21 day window. In my past experience sbbt gets the funds the morning of DDD and deposits them within hours. Remember they are west coast so at 9am Est they should be sending your money to your bank. This is from my experiences from 2010-present day.

From my understanding and what I have been told by HRblock reps. They Say that as soon as they get your Deposit they take fees out and put it in your account. They claim this is instantaneous. Once they get it you get it. Using the EMerald card from HRBlock I would get it a day in advance ore 2. This is the first year using my bank account. I am tired of paying ATM fees to pull out my money. In 2009 I had to drain 6 ATMs for 3500 bucks so I could pay for a car. most ATMs have a lock of 300 per transaction and add a 3 dollar fee. that adds up to some money. Banks charge a 50 dollar fee to get a cash advance from your card in my area. That is if your lucky and got a card that has your name on it. If you got the generic card your SOL. Last year I got offset delay and didnt get my refund til April 28 and they sent it as a check. I enjoyed not having to pay atm fees. So I went with my bank this year

I filed with HR Block, chose to have the fees come out of my refund and the remainder DD to my prepaid Account Now card. I’ve had this card for many years and always get my paycheck direct deposited as well. MY DDD is 2/11/15, I need to know if HR Block takes extra time to get the money sent to me or if the 2/11/15 date is accurate. Can anyone with this or any other prepay card please tell me what you’re experiencing. Thanks!

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who hasn’t had any updates! Transcripts are still 0’s (no 2014 on top two transcripts). WMR still at one bar. Called the IRS this morning and spoke to a nice woman who said my refund is just processing and not being reviewed (thankfully).

Filled 2/20/15 and called irs today and say they sent a 12c letter out last thursday and should be getting it any day. He did not know what was missing. Does anyone know if it takes the entire 4 -6 weeks once received or if you actually get within a week or so. Still no luck in receiving GA refund. Mine have been saying processing since 1/26. I figured it would be there at least by today because it’s day 14. I am assuming GA has some type of delay going on. My return would seem very easy to review. We have only had number changes in at least 15 years. Same thing for me I filed 1/8 accepted 1/12 got the IRS letter 1/31 and faxed my 1095a same day. I have no bars on WMR and up until Friday I had the still processing message no tax topic but showed my refund amount. Now I have tax topic 152 and no refund amount shown..as of Friday. I called and they told me pretty much exactly what the letter says 6-8 weeks from the time they receive the form. I really hope I don’t have to wait until March to get my money
