Pikkin your story is a prime example on how the irs agent know nothing. They do not pull your credit so they have no clue if you were link to the target breach so that has nothing to do with it.. No so ID verifies are random and you might have been one especially those whole file early.. Turn around time is 3 weeks usually

Dreaded 570 no always a lengthy process and both can trigger the 570 its usally 2 week delay

Jared it’s a great possibility that they will take that money for her debt that hotline doesn’t always show that money is owed you look to see if there is a 570 code or a refund issued code. You need to see can you list exactly how the codes appear on the transcript you can make up the amounts

FYI: My return was accepted 2/5 but apparently I am weekly so I won’t see any updates until the end of this week. The past 3 years, I have received my refund around Valentines day. If you are weekly, weekly processes on Thursdays for DD’s the following Wednesday. So I am hoping to be processed this week and get a DD for 2/18/2015!! That date will be cycle code 20150605.

I have a 20150505 w/ a 971 and 570 (for no reason at all). Return was accepted on 1/26 and have been able to view transcripts since 2/6. I am waiting for the 846. Anyone else have this scenario or an idea of when I should get the 846?

I did them on 2/3 and they were approved 2/4 with TurboTax and was supposed to get DD today. I know I have some kind of offset and also the 29.99 but O is still showing on SBBT and nothing to my Bank. I am using Green Dot debit card. I get direct deposit through my work and no issues.

The Target credit/debit card breach will not in any way, shape, or form have any effect on your tax return whatsoever. It has absolutely nothing to do with it. The Target breach only involved credit and debit card information that was compromised, not your identity. That’s just another perfect example of the people answering the phones for the IRS having absolutely no clue what they are talking about and will tell you anything just to get you off the phone.

I filed my taxes feb 6th, and it got accepted about 10:45am (I live in cali, not sure 11:00 east coast? west?) I look online and its still on accepted. I e-filed and was accepted on the 30th. I never really checked because I wasn’t hurting for money. I decided to check today since a friend of mine said they received theirs. I checked WMR and only 1 bar and Tax Topic 152. Well 10 minutes ago I log into my bank account to schedule bill payments and I see pending deposit…so don’t depend on WMR. My DDD is the 13th and my bank already has it scheduled to post at midnight. By the way, WMR still says processing. I hope everyone that has been waiting gets theirs soon.

In the meanwhile, I tried order my transcripts on line (got the contact IPSU). I did 2X…2 weeks ago as well as last week. They this would not affect my return ( I had to verify my filing status etc etc)

Call the Tax advocate this week, she stated that I was actually accepted on the 23rd by the IRS. and to give it till Friday.

I called the IRS today…finally spoke to a nice woman who looked through my account. Asked me question about my 2012 (weird since I got that on time with no issues)..I verified the information for that.
She continued to look…the outcome…………….I am under manual review due to concerns about identity theft. (I never filed this….or complained about it). Then I remembered in 2013 about the Target credit card and customer account breach. I asked her if action on the part of Target reporting to credit bureaus about that breach( I I have a target credit card) would affect it. She said most likely.
The best..I have to wait up to 8 weeks (April 10th ) to see if I receive a letter, notice or refund. If nothing, call them again. While I am happy that I got an answer, I am so sad that I am in this position.

Filed 1/29, accepted same day, received DDD of 2/11 on 2/9, received DD yesterday around 4PM CST. Money was showing in SBBT but not on NetSpend card yet, called SBBT and asked if there was anything wrong/anything I needed to do, the person I spoke with said no. Called my card about 30 minutes later and the money was there. Good luck to you all!

I have that dreaded 570 code, was reading some of the other responses, I also have a offset of owing from a previous year but I also claimed the education credit, which do U think is making the 570 code, but I do not have the 971 code letter sent, and I called IRS and they said they so not need any info from me at this time. Is this going to be a lengthy process now? Filed over 20yrs and never had a problem til now.

I was hoping that this meant they were working on my taxes yesterday, but today no WMR update and still can’t access transcripts. I have 2 dependents that I claim every year and an education credit. Woohoo!! Finally got some movement! Filed and accepted 1/31. No movement and blank transcripts until this morning! Woke up to all transcripts with a cycle code of 20150603 which should mean a DDD of Monday!! So happy that I can stop obsessing over checking multiple times a day for my transcripts. I finally on Saturday night went from bars missing since Jan 17th and finally came back sometime Saturday night with my refund date. I have heard the are overwhelmed with returns right night and a lot of people including me got new cycle numbers. So for a lot of that have been waiting so long I am hoping we all got good news over the weekend. I have never had mine get recycled before so I know next year not to file early it didn’t help any of us. I hope this helps some of you that have just filled and your bars went missing. It took the whole 21 days for me from Jan 20th when the actually started processing returns.

I did that two years ago and didnt notice it right away to it had to be sent to my actual bank, rejected..then sent back to the IRS before they would issue me a paper check and mail it out. It took about 45 days before i received my refund. Hopefully yours will be fixed and come sooner though!

Does anyone know how true the email from HRB is about waiting 3-5 days for a deposit? They emailed me yesterday that the irs is depositing funds and it usually takes 3-5 days for a deposit. Is this a standard message? I use HRB every year, but this is the first time ever seeing an email like that and their customer support was worthless and gave me the number to irs. I don’t have anything pending at my credit union, but they don’t post until 9am. :/

Got my W2 on the mail, employer had the wrong social security number. So they had to send me a W2 C. So I was not able to e file till 2/3. Accepted on same day. My WMR says one bar and no transcripts.

Here is my time line: filed on Saturday 2/7 and was approved within the hour. Was not able to see my transcripts until today. WMR is still at one bar!! Cycle code 20150603, that would be next Monday 2/16/2015. With fabulous code 846!! Now the waiting game until then! Good luck!

I have never received a transcript – didn’t know it was an option until I read yesterday on this forum that you could. So I went to the IRS site …. created an account & answered some security questions (may possibly have answered 1 of them wrong). When I selected for my online transcript it told me that they were unable to process my request & to call the IPSU (ID Theft). UGH! So I did – TWICE! Both times they told me that 2014 transcripts were not ready yet (not mine but 2014 in general) which puzzled me because so many others have theirs. I would assume they were talking about mine but I was told this before I gave any of my information. I also had them both to look over my account to see if there was an issue with ID Theft … They told me they didn’t see anything.

So again today I’ve went in thinking maybe it would “reset” after 24hours to try to request a transcript. Still nothing. Tried to do it by mail & it tells me both account & return are unavailable.

I filed through TT on 2/2 before 9am & was accepted in less than an hour. IRS told me yesterday they didn’t show that they received it until 2/3. WMR bars have been gone since 2/3 & the message says still processing. IRS told me yesterday that mine wasn’t even processed yet.

I’m so confused. I’m a single mom that needs this check. It’s getting frustrating. Anybody else been given the IPSU message when trying to check transcripts?
