I got the code 1252 last year with the message of tax topic 152 and stating I would receive something in the mail and not to contact the irs until I did so. It ended up being a correspondence audit, over the EIC, which baffled me as all my prior returns the last few years have been pretty similar, but to give everyone a heads up I waited to receive the letter and it asked for documents to prove I was HOH such as bg&e bills, rent receipts, etc and to prove my children lived with my all year I had to get letters from their school and pediatrician on their letterheads (IRS was very specific about that)! I filed on 2/22, received irs letter 3/12, mailed documents certified on 3/31 and heard nothing back whatsoever and then out of nowhere my entire refund I was supposed to receive was direct deposited in my account at the end of July….yes the end of July!!! Needless to say I was happy to receive it but it was a huge headache and this year I have yet to file-I want to but nervous it will happen all over again, since I read stories about people having this happen to them for several consecutive years! Hope this info helps someone, I know last year this site was my saving grace while I was going through my tax refund hell! Best luck to you all!

I filed 1/31 and approved 2/1. As of today, 2/20, WMR still shows “processing”. Haven’t had any bars showing for days. I was able to access tax transcripts with cycle date: 20140705. Any idea what that could mean? There are no codes other than “tax topic 152” which just talks about refunds. Very frustrated.

Same here, still nothing just accepted on the 12th still stuck on first bar code 152 and cant order my transcripts. I am so confused because early filers are having a problem and I think there trying to catch up with them that we are getting pushed back as well I heard there is another big update for weekly people Friday. This is killing me I wish I had a date even of its 3/30 so so I knew nothing was wrong.

@barbiedawhl, call this number for offsets….1800-304-3107, an automated system will tell you if you have any pending debts or not. I didn’t want to call either, but luckily I didn’t have any and I feel much better now.

My DDD is 2/20/14 I just checked my Netspend card and my refund has been deposited on 2/19/14. Those of you that have a 2/20/14 that look promising for others.

I am in the same situation. Filed and accepted on 2/12 and still nothing. Not sure what is going on this year but it is taking forever. I can not view anything online either. It keeps telling me i am entering the wrong information and locking me out for 24 hours. If i call the hotline to request the transcript the information goes through. Just not for this year. Maybe the wesites are just messed up.

Sbbt has my refund to send to my bank for ddd of 2-20. I had an offset but my refund cover it. Never showed on my transcripts but wmr had tt203 and full amount to be deposited. Glad to finally get it over with. Already anticipating next years refund. Hahaha good luck ppl!

Checked website in the wee morning hours of Thursday 2/19/14 said DD set for next week the 26th.
Today i look and its back to the “your return has been accepted and we will release a date yadda yadda”

I have the same and I ordered my transcript again it says 846 code 3/10….they pushed another 2 weeks to refund me? Mine got accepted 1/28, supposedly dd 2/6 but got 1121 code..Early this week i got “we received your tax return and now it’s being processed..” hasn’t changed yet…now i re-ordered my transcript and i got another date

I filed on 2/6 and still on one bar!! This has never happened before with me!! I opted for DD and thought I would have received my refund by now but still nothing. I have tried calling the irs 20 times and nothing it will not let me speak to a live representative it is really starting to tick me off!!

this is my third yr with identity theft,second using an IP pin. the first yr was gruesome! i didnt get my refund until nov.2012. last yr i received my refund in june, after filing in february. so the wait gets shorter, haha. the earlier you file, the better. i just filed my return thhis yr on feb 15th, accepted, but still processing…..

@Steph336, quick question if you don’t mind. No BIG rush but here it is. My tax preparer efiled last Thursday, Feb 15th. I haven’t filed taxes for about 9 years now as I was a SAHM. I finally started working again and filed this year as HOH with 3 dependents. My ex has claimed the boys up until this year since I wasn’t working. However I have full custody and he has no rights to claim them this year since hes provided no support whatsoever. My wmr hasn’t moved since it was filed except to add tax topic 152 last night. Can you tell me when to expect it to be approved and when I can get a DDD?

I bank with Chase and the only time that I get my refund early is when I put it on a NetSpend card or something like that. I just don’t like the fees associated with withdrawing it so I will gladly wait two extra days. I’m not going to die. lol My DDD is 2/21.

Why does everyone say they are 2/12 when the Chart shows the 13th as being the date? on the WMR Website it says “You will receive BY 2/20” does that mean im a “2/19er”

I have a ddd for 2/21… Which is crazy cause I see my post in this forum from last year and I had a ddd 2/22 and I got it 3 days early! Hopefully it’s a trend. And it’s coming to my Netspend card no fees.

Ok so on my transcripts it has an 846 Refund issued date of 03-03-2014 And a 150 code of 20140705 cycle number. Does this mean I will get my refund. the 849 code reflects full refund amount but the 150 code reads 0.00?!?!?!? I am so confuses!!!

Did you check your transcripts? Usually they will tell you. It took mine a couple days to update to “refund applied to debts” and my WMR didn’t update to the adjusted amount until my DDD. Also my myeddebt.com STILL hasnt updated with the amount they took from my refund.

Does anyone know if WMR reflects the adjusted amount for the offset? Mine still has a DDD and the full amount of the return?!? The offset number says all my refund to be taken for student loans. Would they take what is past due or the full amount of the loans. Also when i got to http://www.myeddebt.com it can’t find any of my inf for being past due or defaulted. (specific government student loan site) HELP I needed my return to move home and don’t want to be homeless.

i seen the date march 3 2014 as of on my transcript but it says that they dont have my 2013 returns record. but on wmr its say recieved processing i think accpted 2/5 but still processing but i filed 2/27 or 2/28 on the bottom of wmr i did see topic 152.

My taxes were excepted on 2/12. As of today there is no change still on that first bar. I thought it would be processing by now. Does anyone have the same acceptance date and are they in processing or with a add date? Does anyone even know a estimated deposit date for me? THANK YOU

So I called 1.866.897.3315 on 02.18.2014 because I have not gotten a letter or anything yet but I do owe 400.00 in student loans now I was on hold for quite some time after being on hold the phone kept hanging up I kept calling back until I spoke to Ms. Parker I.D. Number 100161269 who advised me that
Can not release refund because of the student loan from 2008 so they are going to pay the student loan off first then I should receive my return she did not have a DD but she was very helpful she actually called me back and told me to call this number 1 866.897.0177 so I called this is about the earned income credit that is what the recording says I was on hold for a long time before I spoke to Vincent Price I.D. Number 1002778713 who advised me that there is nothing in the system for me right but if I am selected for an audit and usually if you claim a dependent for the first time you will be audited then I will need to fax in additional information but he told me to give it another week to see if I get a letter saying I am being audited he was very nice and helpful..

I am in a similiar situation this is the first year I had a tax topic 203 for AAFES star card….I just found out I was sent to collections March 2013 and now all of my refund was applied to the debt that I couldnt pay but now really wont be able to pay cause I will loose my job and car bc my whole refund was offset…..does anybody know if I can still get my refund if I call AAFES and make arrangements or wil I be wasting my time….Have anyone received a offset from aafes got their return applied to debt for the first year but still received there refund?

*****UPDATE*** My boyfriend has his money, there is a INCOME TAX GOD!!! I filed his the 31st he was accepted the 1st (saturday) The WMR website didnt update until the following Thursday to say they have recevied them and it was being processed. Had that same msg since then. I was able to order his Transcripts Friday, and the WMR updated on Saturday with a due date Of the 20th… It posted tonight Thru Netspend!!….. Now ImSTILL waiting on mine, u know I have the INFAMOUS 1121 code…. I just wanted to give u guys the News!… Keep hope alive, bcuz I am… We’ve all cameSO far, Just a little while longer. Hi Let me help some of you out.
If you have received this notice on the bottom of your taxes (203) offset, and its to IRS, forget about your refund. If you have received this notice and its to AAFES pay close attention;…. THAT is your warning.

Your refund will be deposited if this is the first year you’ve seen it, but get in touch with the Army and Air Force Exchange and make a payment arrangement quickly. Pay this amount BEFORE you file next year or don’t be prepared to use it.
The notice you say was not mailed, has indeed been mailed. Its on the bottom of the MWR website. You owe, call the number, fix it. I am truly not wanting to be condescending but I called AAFES 2009 told me my balance, I laughed at them , and I got my refund, 2010 the same, 2011, the same….2012 biggest refund ever and guess what, yep, garnished…..I’m trying to assist you in not making my mistake.
oh lastly, if money is in your bank, spend it….. the IRS is not coming, they would have taken theirs before you saw a dime, other state agency’s like I mentioned, you may get away with it this year, but they are coming with 18% interest and set penalties.

I feel for all of you who have the “still processing” response at WMR.

My accountant electronically filed our return on 20 September 2013 for the tax year 2012. I was not aware of the WMR site until sometime in October and learned our taxes were “still processing.” Just before Xmas I received a Christmas present from them! No, not money but I did get a bar so I knew then the end was near.

New Years began with them taking back the Christmas gift so I ended up with no bars along with no processing and no record of my even filing. On top of that— the IRS stopped taking phone calls until recently.

Today I was fortunate to speak with a rep. She knew about the hold but it should have been released in December. To wrap this up she further told me she sent my filing back so the hold could be removed. She added I should expect my refund within 30 days. That should make my total wait over 6 months……if I get my refund as she said I should.

There are 570 and 971 codes at the bottom
No update on wmr and no 1121 code

So my husband called the irs today and spoke to rep who told him the return is still processing and he just needs to wait and also said we weren’t accepted until the 4th! Wmr says something different. When we asked about the codes she said there was nothing on her end just still processing! Wtf!!!!!

@shay we are in the same boat! AAFES never sent a single solitary thing stating their intent to offset…but when we called AAFES they said oh no we haven’t requested offset, just pay the collection agency and gave us their info, which was indeed a commercial collection agency. Did you guys get your refund by any chance? I filed for injured spouse…probably won’t see my half until May but here’s to wishful thinking!

Oh yeah, I did notice this year it says ” is scheduled to be deposited “by” 2/21. I always thought it said in years past more of a “is scheduled to be deposited on 2/21.” So I am hoping that maybe it means that they will send it earlier if possible.
