It would be my luck that it would take that long
So, we filed and “were accepted” on 1/22. We have had no update since then. Called the IRS today and for the second year in a row, we were “randomly” chosen to be resequenced. Apparently they got our return 1/26, what should I expect now?
Filed via TT around 2:30 PM on 1/28, accepted within 10 minutes same day. 1 bar on WMR was given same day, and no changes ever since. No DDD, not able to view transcripts either. This is dumb. No progress indeed.
@becky call them and see if there is a deposit pending to them.

Hey, just filed this afternoon upon getting my W2. Let’s see how this goes.
Has anybody dealt with this company in the past or present? I filed through Jackson Hewitt (used the assisted return, so fees are taken out), and my return was approved on 1/30, with a DDD of 2/4/15 (cycle 20150405). When i called the #, it states that they have received notification of my return, for the date Monday, “01/01/1900,” so, it’s either an error or defaulted to say that, and can take up to 72 hrs to process. Has anybody that dealt with them know how long it takes them to remove the fees, and DD the rest into my account?
I check it 10 minutes ago I could see the years but I cant view it says error
Today is the 2nd, the DDD is the 4th. They will probably hit SBBT tomorrow night then to our accounts the 4th sometime just like it says. Some are early but with a Wednesday DDD and the Fed’s not sending checks on weekends the odd’s of it being two days early is minimal.
Has anyone received their refund yet that has a walmart money card?
Yea i just watch these threads too so when i see someone with the same DDD and having to go through SBBT get their info thats when i know to start checking last year my money went to SBBT at like 1030 at night, so it really could be any time of the day. :) Just gotta think positive

@rick1080hd, this is the first time I’ve ever had this 570 code. Every other year I’ve always gotten my taxes back within 9 days or so. Never had any problems. I know this can only be healthcare related. But all we can do is wait. That’s the gov’t for you..

Shanna yes the 570 freeze could be because u didn’t file 2012 to file you must do a paper return for 2012. You can use free tax usa to create a prior year tax return and print it and then you must mail it.. free tax usa will give u the address after u complete it… return can take an additional 8-12 weeks
Bc irs reps are very rude… the answer is that you do have to wait.. the bars disappearing is just because there is a delay processing your return.. not that your return was processed and there is a problem. That no bars happen when they are backlogged and cannot process a return in the projected time…
Thea1984 971 code is generic and unfortunately hard to pin point what happen… did you owe from last year.. 971 can be because they sent you a previous notice and you never responded and you owe money to someone… or the irs directly… it also can mean that is a just frozen due to return not finshined in processing… this happens when a delay in processing cause the system to jump ahead. This code freezes any money until it’s done processing

Yea i spoke to a girl yesterday and one today they both told me it will be there today.
If you got blank transcripts on 1/27 you should see a transcript update tonight, WMR tomorrow night, and DDD Friday 2/6. If you got blank transcripts 1/30 you should see a transcript update Friday 1/30.
That’s if the whole “recycled” theory is right.
after veiwing my last 4 transcripts I noticed i had a 570 code on my 2012 return and it was held up till April. that year i got so combat letter . In the end their was nothing wrong with my return I got my full refund . But yet i was held up under a manual review for whatever reason .. no real explanation from the or the t.a i spoke with that year. When i looked at this years transcript and compared them to my 2012 and seen the same code 570 I knew the irs was gonna try to mess with my return again.
Same thing happening here. I hope it’s updating but we most likely wont see an update til tonight.
There is a FB page called “No tax return filed” Where’s our Money…there are A LOT of people there who are having the same issue. When I attempt to pull my transcripts, the page tries to load and then I get the error message and the tab says “Maintenance”…hoping for an update!!
Check the transcript website again tonight, they are still processing your return. Transcripts are updated throughout the day. So far everything looks good, not much longer and if your cycle date stays the same, you’ll have a DDD of 2/4. Your just waiting for that 846 TC
I filed 1/30 and was accepted about 30 minutes later. N/A transcript for 2014. 1 bar on wmr. No updates so far.
The offset hotline is NO help…. They say “I MAY” have an offset… well thanks for the info. I knew that, that’s why I’m calling. For an answer, not a guess.

Thanks for the post but this isn’t true. It’s likely the IRS rep gave you that info just to get you off the phone. Reason being is on 1/27 there was an update. Many people got transcripts while others got blank transcripts. Same thing happened again Friday. The number of people with blank transcripts cannot possibly be under review. The fact is the IRS lost tons of money and had to let go of 17,000 employees. They even admitted there will be LESS audits than years past which was already low.
The people who got blank transcripts are set to be recycled this week. Will they “glitch” out again and be recycled to next week? I hope not but we will know tomorrow.
If it’s anything like last week though we’ll get our transcripts tonight, WMR will update the day after tomorrow and we will get our DDD for Friday 2/6. Those that got blank transcripts on Friday should see an update on this Friday and get their DD for like 2/9.

I checked my transcripts this morning at 8:00 am CST and still 0.00. Just tried again and when I click on 2014 link for acct transcripts it took a while to process and then it says there was an issue completing your request – please try again in a few minutes. Waited 5 minutes – still getting error. Hopefully (but doubtfully) there will be some sort of update!
Last year, I was pulled for review because my salary had jumped 55K. This year the salary stayed the same, I filed 1/22 and have had no progress ever since. My question is: if I was reviewed last year with no further action needed does that automatically make them review you for the year after and so on? I’m just curious since transcripts are still N/A and I just wanted to see if people have experienced this situation before.

@rick1080hd, i dont have the 896 code. I only have the 570 code. But I did get insurance through the marketplace.
I filed my taxes on 1-20-2015 accepted 1-20-2015 still one bar on wmr cycle date of 20150402. I ordered my transcripts Friday and viewed them online same day and noticed i have the 896 code along with 570 . after reading some people response to this code I called the irs 15 min ago . I got someone on the phone pretty quickly . She looked at my account and told me its a freeze on my account .She also told me that it would take an additional 2-3 weeks. I don’t owe the irs any money i had my a.c.a. takin out of my refund . I was told their going to being looking further into alot of account with the a.c.a. So it made me wonder if we are being singled out since we filed our taxes honestly. And our there others without th 896 being held up .

When I call the offset hotline all it says is, your refund MAY be reduced due to an offset.. But no guarantee. They haven’t sent me any warning, or notification about an offset. I have a DDD for 2/4. Does anybody know anything that could help me? Thanks
You are corrrect. I called the irs the other night before they shut down and got a great guy. TT told me my acceptance date was the 12th IT WAS NOT he said my return did not get accepted until the 15th. I knew being an early filer I took my chances because of course, my name is not Hilton or Rockerfellow. Well the very next morning after speaking with him on the 31st I had a DDD for 2/4 so thats when I knew why I had the hold up. I didnt bother with turbo tax about it but I wont believe their acceptance date in the email anymore. So I hope this helps all you anxiously awaiting people. Been there and CAN FEEL YOU ANXIETY. <^. .^> be patient its coming.
Not complaining. I know some have been waiting longer. I just thought I’d start a thread for the 1/30’ers. Accepted 1/30. As of just now, no transcripts available, nothing other than good ol’ Tax Topic 152 in the pizza tracker.
I have the same, I knew I had a tax offset of under $100, they applied that to the old account. Now I have the message on WMR of refund delayed. I called and was told my account is frozen. But, cant get anyone who can tell me why.
What do I need to say to get the IRS to look at my return over the phone?
Some of these reps clearly have no idea what they’re talking about. So I called and let’s just say he didn’t ask for any type of credentials so I’m assuming he was just telling me stuff off the top I his head. He didn’t look into my account at all. Jut told me that the code 570 is a freeze and they’re not allowed to give any information until after those 21 days, which mine would be on the 10th…. And then he said if I didn’t receive a refund by then, it would take an additional 6 weeks Bc of the penalty I have to pay back for healthcare which is only $66. Now that didn’t sound right to me at all. He was surprised that I had my transcript already lol. When I called on Friday a different rep got all of my information and looked through my account and told me i had nothing to worry about. It was just a system issue. I’m more likely to believe the person i spoke with on Friday.
Non update yet. Still has my codes but no refund issued. I’m tempted to call bit know they are going to just tell me to wait the 21/days. Hopefully it changes soon.
my ddd is 2/3 ans although SBBT has received my funds, my bank has yet to release them
It’s all a bunch of bull that the irs tells everyone different shit just so you leave them alone. Every year transcripts are blank until they finish processing and I have never been under review.
