@2013taxpayer I think you’re probably right! Excuse me if I made a mistake…my brain is doing backflips ever since my transcript became available. Excitement to not knowing….to still wondering. Thank goodness I got insurance coverage this year. Absolutely hate this stuff lol
I have ally bank and SBBT has my funds it says they have released them but nothing in my bank account as yet. Does anyone else have ally.

@cat: Thanks for responding. I too hope for it. Can’t wait. Even if I know it’s coming, it’s always so stressful until it’s here. I guess it’s the same for all that live paycheck to paycheck like me. And God knows we are a bunch…Good luck everybody!!!
@jasvan She did say it is possible it could release before then but according to the training she received regarding this it more than likely will not. Being the first year though anything is possible she said. The IRS was aware this was going to happen. She had training for this situation 2 weeks ago. She will be monitoring my case and if anything new happens she will phone me and I will share my info.

@jasvan: I think we could still see a ddd tomorrow or next week because of the IRS manual saying 4 business days. I still have a glimmer of hope.
@widget yes thank you for sharing. I must say my refund excitement is now as deflated as a New England Patriots football though now. It sounds on target. Because after 2/16 there would be accrued interest the IRS would have to pay. Just wondering though did they say it might release before then?
@abbey I will definitely post if I hear more info. I surely hope it comes sooner but i know now it may be a couple more weeks.
Coco…..everyone who had a dd of the 30th …..all the net spend people had their money the 28th so I assume you’d get it early too.
That sounds like a ‘standard’ answer, like the 21 day thing. It could take that long but probably won’t. Hopefully. I’m still holding out hope for tomorrow!!!!
I’m still unable to view transcripts, and the irs app will only send my old scripts if I enter my old address. Ive been 05 cycle due to student loan offset a couple years back. I’m really hoping i see an update tonight but I’m not going to stress myself out too much i do remember being in this same situation last year and I’m sure it will be soon

Finally a group for weeklies only…YES. @timer00: go with that logic. I do believe too in DDD for 02/04 for 1st batch based on 4 years weekly experience. Now the question is who is in 1st batch…I hope i am. Filed & accepted 01/20. No big change in tax profile. so far 1 bar with topic 152 since. Fingers crossed. Now if DDD is 02/04, knowing that I have Netspend and that have filed free, is there a slight chance i get it on 02/02? anyone input?

Ya, I’m not a single mother, but I am a 26 y/o single father and it really upsets me seeing people on here telling us all to this or that and manage your finances better. I have my finances in order, I work 40 hours a week at a freight brokerage, but I still depend on this money every year for things. Yes, some of it is for fun and to “blow” but most of it I use to set myself up to “Stay Ahead” all year or to save.. With a 4 year old boy you never know when you’re going to need extra money randomly. Lol.
Phick Diva, I use a prepaid Chase Card for all payroll and taxes bc I always get my payroll one day before everyone else’s and it’s usually the same with my taxes. I *do* believe we just made it. I can’t order my return transcripts yet but will check back late tonight/early tomorrow morning. In the past several years, it’s taken 4 or 5 days before my returns were accepted by the IRS (maybe it’s who I use), but it was fast this year, so hopefully we’ll get them back quickly. It’d sure make up for a crappy 2014. :)

That’s great news, thanks for calling them!! I guess we will just have to keep checking throughout the evening. Or take some Tylenol PM and try to sleep til morning!! Hahaha just kidding !! Hope you take ur son to do something fun. I’m a single mother too I have one son. I promised him we would get a hotel room and go swimming either this weekend or next weekend! Can’t wait!
Bart, I filed and was accepted on 1/20. No movement just the bar and processing topic 152. I had a baby last year in July, would this cause a delay?
I would like to share the info I have received. On Tuesday when I saw this on my transcripts i phoned the taxpayer advocate line. They put in a referral for me to receive a call from and actual advocate located in my state. The rep I spoke to seemed new and she was not supposed to refer me yet as the 21 days haven’t passed. She did though and yesterday I received a call from my advocate. This is most definitely due to the ACA penalty. The date of 2-16-15 on my transcripts indicates the day the hold will systemically release and the ACA penalty credited to the correct IRS/treasury account. This action could take place sooner. Being the first year for this it is still new and even they are still learning. There is no audit, manual review or any other action except for the penalty to apply correctly. I have her direct number and I will continue to stay in touch with her. The 16th is the 21st day since the date of processing and I’m sure that is why it is there. Basically the 16th is the final date that this will be released unless there are other issues that need corrected.

I filed late January 27th, it would have been almost midnight in the east and never know what time these things go by. So far I have one bar, the usual code (don’t want to say for sure but I think 520). This is the first year I haven’t paid fee’s. I have had my bank card hacked four times in less than a year and would rather pay a little than wake up to a negative $1000+ balance and calls from fraud alert at 5 AM.
Some are saying we could see deposits next week? I tried transcripts yesterday and all that was available was wages.
When I filed I expected sometime around February 10th as I normally file earlier than this year. Anytime before that will be a pleasant surprise.
I filed on the 28th and still haven’t been accepted..beyond frustrated. I have always been accepted the same day.

it also says refund release 2/16/2015I don’t think we weeklies should worry yet. I am weekly because i owed the irs a few years back, every since then i have had to wait like almost 2 weeks. Last year i believe i got an update on either thurs or friday night for my transcripts and that morning and update to wmr. my refund came in on the 12th a wednesday i remember because other people had the same date and got theirs early and i remember how much that sucked for me.
SBBT has transferred my DD to by bank “ACADEMY BANK” as of 830 a.m pacific. nothing showing in my bank yet though, pending or otherwise
Filled 1/22 accepted 2 hrs later! NO DD NO TRANSCRIPTS! I filed my daughter’s 1/24 and has DD 2/2! Seems like 1/22 acceptance date has more NO DD than any other early date
I filed 1/27 and was accepted 1/28. I’m following this thread. I have the same results as you PhickDiva. If I get it next week I’ll be ecstatic!
Mine is pending for deposit in my account now! My bank deposits at 330! SO YAY!
I filed and was accepted 1/21. I have A DDD of 1/30. I use Netspend so hoping i see it soon. It was sent to the bank already according to SBTG. I was approved on 1/28. So, within 7 days of filing I was approved, within 8 days the money was released by the IRS. Hopefully you get as lucky as us in the first batch of deposits. They do not only make deposits in friday as mine was sent today and other people who paid fees up front and had DDD of 1/30 received their money 1/27-1/28.

Do you have any thoughts on how long paper checks ACTUALLY take to process and mail? I have a “check will be mailed by February 3rd” message on my WMR, but in the past when I received direct deposit refunds, they were a day or two earlier than the “by” date. Is this true with paper checks as well?
Also, am I the only one who feels ancient when they see “paper check” and remembers when checks were ALWAYS paper….Hi. I filed on 1/25 and was accepted that evening. My transcripts are not available and the WMR bar is still on first. No movement or changes. I wouldn’t be so unnerved if I didn’t see so many others from 1/24 and 1/26 and after getting their DDD’s. Should I be worried?
So, I just called my Walmart Money Card (Greendot) customer service and asked if they had any pending transactions for my account. The guy (who barely spoke English) said that they cannot see pending transactions, however, my refund wont ever be a “Pending” transaction technically because money DD’d and from banks, etc. is posted immediately, as soon as they receive it. He said if they released it already that it could post to my account any minute and that normally it takes only about 15 mins from the time they receive it, to the time I can see it in my account. So, I am hoping for today, but my refund has never been late, so tomorrow morning at the latest. I am just so anxious to get this money. Lol. All my bills are paid but I want to take my son out to do something FUN! ASAP. Plus I promised him I’d get him a video game for our PS4, and maybe I want one for myself. Lol.
how do you know if you are weekly??/ I was able to accessed my transcripts eariler this week and haven’t been able to access them everysince
Anyone else here file and get accepted yesterday? I can’t be the only one. No DDD as of yet, but I’m hoping for one soon. I have one bar on WMR, and Topic 152 immediately popped up, so my fingers are crossed. Any thoughts as to when you guys think we’ll get ours?
What is daily and weekly? How do u know which u r, what happens if u r either one, and does it change every year?
From what I’ve seen, its the usual. Who really knows? Some are getting refunds 7 days from filing so super fast. Some are waiting…. waiting… waiting. But I believe the majority is 7-10 days from the day their efile is accepted. Also there are some getting their DD with no change on WMR or transcripts so like someone else said, it may be better to just check your bank account. I still check WMR, transcripts and the bank TaxSlayer uses lol… Driving myself to a large amount of stress but waiting patiently is sooooo hard lol. Good luck! And yes it does seem SOME of the early filers are having a couple issues.

Danielle she is correct if you are still getting an error i would keep contacting them… they just might be down on on their end
frustrated dont follow cycles and yes u should see an update over the weeken or monday morning as long as there is no problems with u return
Hel[p i am sorry for all your troubles. the answer is yes the pin does help.. will your refund be delayed… yes due to they are going to look very closely to make sure u are you… how long of a delay is the question… keep trying to get your transcripts… if you see a freeze code 570 then you know…… if you dont see one then you will be good to go an will get a dd sooner than later

I have been researching this 876/570 code for a few days now and this is what I believe. Even though 570 is technically a “freeze code” in this instance it was just IRS’s way of flagging the refund to deduct the healthcare care penalty. Now there has been chatter of this 570 code will be “lifted” tonight at 6, just in time for direct deposit. I believe this is untrue. If you are able to access your transcript you will see your refund (credit amount) on the top. I don’t think typical IRS coding rules apply here. Keep in mind, this is the new healthcare penalty processing and is new to the IRS and I think sticking these codes on top of them is the only way the IRS can pick them up. I also think because of these codes we are not seeing movement on WMR. I think anyone with a 20150402 cycle should expect their refund tomorrow. Let’s hope.

I have had my cycle code 05 last few years, I am fairly certain 05’s accepted before 1/25 will update tonight, at least the transcripts
@kells last year my DDD said 846 issued on 3/15/2014 but actually got it 2/28/14 so you’ll have it next week.
