      I am with ty on this. We aren’t going at see updates this week. And no your tax preparer can’t see you return and if it is approved neither can there bank unless they have been giving a dd notice. When the cycle ends on 2/16 the hold will release according to the IRS and manual if not action has been taken. That would mean with the deferred days and holiday not included we would have DD 4 days for daily and 7 days after for weekly. I along with others have been told that after the hold drops off like it is supposed to we will see dd. I don’t think we will see any DD until Friday 2/20 or Monday 2/23.

          I hope that’s not all true haha. We have tax liabilities every year because we only claim the child tax credit and standard deductions. We make too much for EIC. So for them to review because we don’t get that large of a refund and they get to keep half of our taxes paid does not make sense.

            So while on various fb pages and sites I seen mention of Code 201 coming up on WMR. All of these people have that code with DDD of 1/30 or 2/2. They have all said they had no offsets but they did have one thing in common- healthcare penalty. There was no talk of transcripts by these people. I am trying to find out when they were accepted but do know they were all after the 20th! So maybe the IRS seen that there was a problem, fixed it while we were processing and now we just have to wait until they fix ours!

              Again another story! Ughh. Anyone notice that every IRS agent, tax company, tax preparer and tax advocate has a different answer. They didn’t know what they were doing and instead of sending out a notice and admitting wrongdoing they turn it around and make us chase our tails looking for an answer. My new mantra for next year is I am not going to file early, I am not going to file early!

                So the people whom said they had the penalty but got DDD were not being truthful because wouldn’t this have happened to everyone. It does sound like the 21 day spiel. So does our 21 day go from this Monday or the 20th as I have had my bar since then? So we will not get our money until 2/20 which is past 21 days and according to the IRS it is not supposed to delay our refund which it is!

                  Omg Abbey I was just going to repost that! Great minds think alike. I am not sure 2/16/2015 are they saying two days from that date or two days from our transcripts being posted? Where was this found in the Manuel, it’s just nonspecific and also the penalty is not an offset

                    There are so many different answers and stories. Although the facts remain that we do have 896/570 codes. Is it possible that since we filed early not only did they gives these codes but resequenced us at the same time, another theory to throw out there. I just wish we good get an honest answer. We pay tax companies to file our taxes, they should be able to help get an answer!

                      @carenpa

                      Typical 21 day answer. So after talking to a CPA he said that if we can see a return transcript we should be completly done processing. Meaning no review or audit. After hearing someone else’s story we came to the conclusion that maybe our transcripts won’t update until after we receive our refunds or DDD In that case the 570 will come off and 846 will be in it’s place. Just gotta stay positive!

                        I am beginning to to worry. Unfortunately I do not have faith in the IRS or their system. I hope we see movement today or tonight. No changes in transcript today and I have been at my one bar since Jan 16
