This is all covered in my post: Accepted 1/20 and no DDD date. A few posts down. If you filed last week and are on cycle 05 then we should update sometime this weekend and have a DDD of Wednesday Feb 4. A weight was lifted off my shoulders when I figured out this weekly cycle thing :)

I have been using TT for many years and since they started using SBBT. Every year the same thing happens. I get a DDD from the IRS. My money is always there on that day. SBBT will update like the day before normally. The only time I received my DD early was when I used Netspend. Otherwise, I always have my money on the IRS date. I have had late deposits though. Normally no later than noon b/c SBBT is on Pacific time I believe. Hope this helps. Not sure if anything will change this year but I wanted to ease some minds if possible. Oh and I always let TT take the fees out of my return as well. Good luck!

I filed 1/23/15 accepted 15 minutes later. tried to view my transcripts today and it said I had to call the identity protection specialized unit. I called and the lady at IPSU asked me all my personal info and said she can mail me my 2014 transcripts. Why cant i view them online? I dont understand.

I have TC896 but not 570. I don’t have a DDD, but I do have a cycle on my script. Not everyone that has 896 has 570. But I still don’t have my money either. :(

You have to see a code 846 on your transcripts, this is the indicator that a refund is coming.

For simplicity’s sake, a cycle code is just the group you’re lumped in – then they either get 846’d for a soon refund, or put in a different group for further processing. For many, the lack if health insurance denied them the 846 code, however it is rumored that this just adds 4 days to the cycle.

If you don’t have TC846 on your script you don’t get a refund— yet. 570 isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Last year a TON of ppl had that code because of an IRS glitch. I’d give it until Monday. I have a tax topic 201– I owed back taxes. I’m due a refund, but don’t have a DDD and WMR isn’t even showing the difference. Just a lousy “we applied your refund” notice. I have TC896 on my script as well, but it don’t have 570. Forbes published an article today about the 570. I wouldn’t sweat it. Just give the system a little more time. :)

fall0109, i got the same message this morning when i tried to get my transcripts. So i called the 800 number and waited on hold for 45 minutes. The lady who answered the phone asked me all of my personal info and said she would mail out my 2014 transcripts today. So what does that mean? Am i done processing or what since she can mail them to me? Im confused. Filed 1/23/15 accepted 15 minutes later.

That means it was approved and refund issued started Tuesday, add 4 business days that will make it Monday.
My bank does deposits a day early but it doesnt do deposits on saturday so hopefully i will get it friday.

and this is accurate ,I checked my last year transcripts and my cycle day was thursday and i got my refund on Tuesday morning.. 3 business days

I didnt say people waiting have done anything wrong. They started processing returns 8 days ago. I understand the frustration, please trust me. Those of you who remember me will remember how awful last year was. I used a diff company other than turbotax for the first time and they entered the wrong babank info so my deposit floated in space for about 3 weeks before the irs issued a paper check. Also liberty tax group whixh is who i used forgot one of my w2’s. I should have caught it but i trusted it was correct. The w2 was in the pile with thoe other 2 so i thought it was entered. Last yr was hell for me so no need to get offended. Im just saying refunds are processed differently and different things play a factor.

Cycle 0402 with transcripts and codes 570 and 896. So does this mean the ddd do not apply to folks in our situation? Funny thing is I get a Native American waiver on health insurance but the marketplace still cannot verify my identity after 2 yrs and photo id copies…. so I pay the offset

Not trying rub this in anyone’s noses, just trying give useful info that may benefit some. I got my refund today at about 4:30. I filed and was accepted 1/24 with only one bar on wmr. I was able to view my transcripts with a cycle date of 20150403 and code 846. Also I’m a netspend user. Actually the deposit was pending since last night at 9pm but never showed on netspend account. The reason for the hold up was because the netspend account is in my girlfriends name so she had to call netspend to authorize it. So if some of you are using someone else’s account to dd then make sure the original cardholder authorizes it. Good luck to you all. I know how frustrating this can be as some of us really depend on this money (I lost my job 1 1/2 months ago so I really needed this). And thank you all for the support and info.

OK, color me stupid but how do you know what cycle you are on if you cant see or get your transcripts? i keep seeing all this daily and weekly stuff and I dont understand it. I ussually check before bed when i wake up and every 4 hours in between . As to the time it is ussually overnight but in the past I have seen it during the day. if you filed single you might want to do every 6 hours or you will get locked out. if you filed joint use both socials throughout the day. i use mine till it locks me out and then my wifes

Last year I got my refund in the first batch. The other years I filed before then I actually filed well after they opened up.. Like in March or April or whatever. So for me last year was great but this year SUCKS!!

I filed on 1/23/2015 and got accepted like 15 minutes after i filed. I used taxact. This morning i went to see if i could see my transcripts on the irs website and it told me i had to call the identity protection unit. So i called…..waited on hold for 45 minutes the lady i spoke to verified my personal information and i said i wanted to see if my transcripts were ready for 2014 and she looked and said she would mail them out today. So what does that mean? If i can get them over the phone does it mean im done processing? WMR still says processing……im just not understanding.

If the 05 weekly theory is correct, (and I think it may be) I got my transcripts Friday last year 2/7/14 and the wmr update on Sat morning 2/8/14 with ddd on Wed 2/12/14. I was accepted that year on 1/31/14 (2 weeks from acceptance to deposit)
I think the theory holds some weight and if my transcripts update Fri and wmr updates Sat with a ddd of Wed 2/4 I’ll believe it to be true

Ive been lurking for the past week but was on here last year so I thought I would try to help ease yalls minds…. a MOD on here was repeatedly telling people earlier that if you think your weekly (cycle ends in 05) then its like clockwork every year (or was for her the past 3years) — Transcripts available Thursday/latest early fri — WMR updates with DDD on saturday — for a deposit on the following wednesday. Weeklies always get deposits on wednesdays…or so ialways hae from personal experience… I filed 1/19, accepted 1/20 with TT- one bar..no trannys except wage andincome for 2014. all others say n/a. Do have TT152 on WMR.

Im quite pissed that people after me have money or DDD;s….but im a weekly so…hopefully ill see my trannys tmrw, latest fri. im trying to give hope to a few so hang in there until friday at least…

I’m pretty positive SBBT has our funds NOW and it’s just not showing on their site.

The reason I say this is because other people with a 1/30 DDD have it, either pending on their account, or already deposited to there account. Now, the IRS doesn’t just releas this persons funds and not this persons funds. They release ALL funds at the same time. The hold comes off and away they go to their designated destination (BOA, SBBT, Wells Fargo, Etc.) . The IRS almost always releases funds 2 days prior to your DDD for processing.

I believe SBBT will release the funds tonight/tomorrow, our banks/cards will receive them tomorrow and the funds will post on friday. I use walmart money card for my returns, every single year, and every single year I go through SBBT. It has always been there on the date specified.

I don’t believe the company you used to file matters. I saw a comment earlier that it looks like H&R Block and Turbo Tax filers are still awaiting a DDD. I used Turbo Tax and filed 1/21 accepted within 10 minutes and DDD showed this morning of 1/30. So, I do not think the company used makes a difference. I read on other threads its connected to our social security numbers. People who have EVER in the past had an audit or tax check applied to a debt owed it takes longer only because the codes are always in the system to let them know what has hopened

So if your cycle date says 20150403, by the conclusion we’ve come too, that means your return and refund were approved in 2015 during Cycle week 4 on Day 3. So today.. Now add 4 business days to then and you will have your DDD. Tuesday of next week will be your DDD. Possibly Tuesday night Weds morning. I would expect an update on WMR tomorrow or sat/sun based on when most people get their WMR updated. IT IS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER YOU MUST HAVE TC 846 ON YOUR ACCOUNT TRANSCRIPTS.. if you do, congrats, you should have your money middle of next week!

I filed on the 9th was accepted on the 12th and got a ddd of 30th just like some people who filed and got accepted on the 20th… 8 days after me… does that mean i need to throw a fit about them getting their money on the same day as myself and the fact that they didn’t have to wait as long? no it means who gives a crap?

If you don’t want to let the gov take a loan from you interest free for a year i suggest you learn how calculate correct deduction amounts on your W2. Myself, I would love not to pay a dime to the gov, but i am not tax exempt, and the only reason that I get a return is the child tax credit and even if I paid no fed tax on income for the whole year i would still get money back!
