So if I filed on 1/6 and accepted on 1/13 and all my orange bars have been gone since around the 17th of January and I am having the healthcare penalty taken out of my return technically we should be seeing an update tomorrow morning? Am I correct? I havent been able to pull up my transcripts I was able to get in Monday and there was no information tried signing in Tuesday to take a look and for some reason it stated it was unable to verify my identity and after trying 3 unsuccessful times is locked me out for 24 hours tried again yesterday and the same thing so im not even 100% sure what my T’s are showing so im just left in the dark and it sucks!!! Hopefully we ALL get an update tomorrow morning!!

I think it means that your refund hasn’t processed yet. I too still have no transcript (says “no record of return filed”) but I had this last year too. If I remember correctly, I don’t think I could see my transcript before I received my refund. I filed on 1/22, accepted 1/22 and nothing no where.

I filed on 1/26 and was accepted the same day minutes later with tax slayer. I checked my transcripts this morning and the only change is that I can now view my account transcript but there’s no info on it… just a date of 2/16/2015. It says no tax return filed??? Anyone know what this means?

Something else I dont get ? How is it that the Cycle data can be the same year after year ? What if you file your taxes at different times yearly ? EX. How could my cycle of 20130604 be the same this year if I dont file my taxes till the 7th or 8th week ? How can we assume that this cycle info is the same every year ?

Never in the 5 years that i’ve used SBBT has it ever been late (Monday) If it doesn’t post later this afternoon itll definately be there tomorrow, on the DDD. Last year my DDD was 2-10-14 and SBBT recieved and deposited into my Citibank account on 2-7-14 that afternoon. Since the 7th was a friday and the 10th was the next business day i’m thinking it’ll post to SBBT this afternoon, one business day before the DDD. It does take a couple hours to see it in your account after your able to pull it up on SBBT

I know this is not the right thread for my question if someone knows a better thread where I can post this question please let me know : I did my taxes via Turbo Tax I have a DDD of 01/30/2015 and I was under the impression that because I picked the free version (I did not have the option to have fees taken out of the return because hence free there were no fees) that my taxes would go right from the IRS to my bank account now I am being told that that is incorrect no matter what your money goes to the bank of Santa Barbara first because even though the product is free it was 29.99 previous to this tax season so they have to deduct the 00.00 from someplace (this makes no sense) this is what turbo tax themselves (via online chat) told me last night. I was just curious have no worries the money is coming but using a new personal bank this year and every bank is different so it would be nice to know what is going on because if there is a 24-hour hold like last year between Santa Barbara and my bank I do not know if I would get the deposit Saturday or Monday.

The IRS did not officially start until January 20.2015. For all those who think their returns were part of a “test batch” they were not. I filed on Janury 20 was accepted a couple hours later and have a ddd of January 30th. The thing to remember if you did your taxes before January 20th they were not actually being worked on until January 20 which was the first official day of the tax season. Hope this helps!!

Tuesday evening I was showing nothing on WMR, I checked yesterday morning at around 0600 and had a second bar and DDD of 1/30. I am not sure at all, but the rumor is that the WMR system only updates in the early morning hours.

My experience with SBBT is that their system will show deposit information before WMR will show it being sent.

My bank updates midnight to 6am. Just checked. Not there! I have SunTrust and they told me yesterday that they see it and it’s sitting in the “warehouse” until the 30th. So tomorrow it is!

Oh, and our VA state finally gave a ddd of 2/2. This is the longest state has ever took for us.

I wanted to let you know how mine worked…. my cycle date was the day that the irs processed my return:20150402 is cycle 04 (4th week starting on thursdays which is jan.22-28th) day 02 is either Monday or Tuesday and my account transcript was available that Monday and return transcript that tuesday. Which means the cycle code is the day irs processes it… the way to use transcripts for a deposit date is when u get “TC 846” on your account transcript. TC 846 is a refund sent “transaction code” and they irs sense it 14-17 days before this date according to the irs manual. The cycle code doesn’t tell u a deposit date.

H & R block deposits refunds into your bank from hr block bank if you had fees taken out of your return. If you paid fees up front or had no fees at all then the irs deposits straight to your bank.

@JROD. Your deposit will still show on the SBBT website. They are responsible for taking the prep fees out, if thats how you chose to pay them. Mine isnt showing yet either. I called my bank and my state (MD) refund was deposited this morning (Thursday) and shows a pending direct deposit for my federal refund for tomorrow (January 30). This is the FASTEST refund in all my years of paying taxes.

It updated around 3:50 am EST for me with a n approval and DD 2/2/2015. I filed Sunday 1/25/15 @ 6 am, Accepted 1/25/15 @ 8:45 am. Waited 48hrs to view WMR, one bar, “21 days for return” and Code 152. No transcript information.

Hey Rushcard users,
I have had my tax refund placed on my rush card for the past three years and they have never posted it early, They can see the pending deposit but you will probably not get it until the DDD listed by the IRS. However Metabank took over the rush card process so they may do it like they do their netspend cards.. Lets be hopeful.

I found some more solid info, for no delay:

Our SPR (shared payment responsibility/Healthcare penalty) is the 896 (overpayment credit offset)
This is taken care of by a credit transfer from the debit side (debt) to the credit side (satisfied).
Credit transfers have rules.
7.All actions need to post in the same cycle to prevent the issuance of erroneous notices.
Use posting delay codes when inputting multiple actions such as:
-A credit transfer and tax adjustment. If both an adjustment and a transfer of credit into the module is needed, input a posting delay code of one cycle on the adjustment. In three weeks, the taxpayer receives a notice of adjustment with the correct module balance.
-Multiple credit transfers in and out of the same module

So like I said over in the transcripts group, unless you have other offsets going on, no delay!

2.NOREFP must be executed on the day the refund hold is set to expire (day 4 for Priority Refund Transcripts, Thursday for CP Notices 12, and 24). When CC NOREFP is initiated, the following table explains when the TC 846 and systemic TC 841 will be displayed: Note: For IDRS input, “day 4” for Priority Refund Transcripts begins at 6 pm local time on day 3 and ends at 6 pm local time on day 4; “Thursday” for CP Notices begins at 6 pm local time local time on Wednesday and ends at 10 pm Eastern time on Thursday.

So if they take no action, it falls off Thursday, refund gets released as scheduled.

The TC570 appearing because the amount of your T896 hasn’t been applied to your tax account yet. As in, on paper they have reduced your refund by but it hasn’t been applied to the actual debt yet.
TC570 (Freeze code) will be lifted when TC896 credit transfer posts to the account.
TC570 must be input with the credit transfer in order to hold the credit.
A TC 570 input as a separate transaction will not prevent refund or offset.
Layman terms – shouldn’t create any delay or refund. Look for a change sometime tomorrow since accounts just posted today. The credit has to take place and then you should see an 846 code.

–So let’s hope IRS will actually follow their book!!!

Just Called Rushcard and I have a pending Deposit from US TREASURY for 1/30. Rep said it will release anytime now but they are able to see my refund deposit pending In the Rushcard system but I cannot see it when I check my rushcard online.
