I have the same issue, Amber. I don’t know whether to worry more or be relieved that some people have seen changes on their transcript already. We are counting on this money for numerous reasons.

Claimed all same kids, credits (PATH), business expenses, nothing new this year and we were paid advanced credits accurately. Transcript still showing only advanced ctc credits, as of date still 12/20/21. Nothing has moved at all since filing except WMR went from 1 bar to “still being processed”. Now my state return says 12-16 weeks. So annoyed and over this year.

Went from 1 bar with tt 152 to no bars no tax topic this am. I filed HOH last year and single this year as my fiance’ claimed our son. Would this cause a delay? Switching filing status? Filed no credits, repaid the CTC advance I received, pretty simple return.

I got this message…Promptly on the 25th (22nd day after my return being accepted). The odd thing is I got my state… Meanwhile my federal still says that message so I’m wondering whts going on because that’s never happened to me before….

i called the IRS cause I have those same codes they said it could take up to 4 weeks & they adjusted mine cause of the stimulus. People been claiming they had those codes & it updated a week later so lets see. I had the 570/971 codes for almost a week now.

If you are a daily, you may see a ddd sometime this week. I wont be able to know until Friday, as I am a weekly and they will only touch my transcripts once per week.

I’m in the same boat, but i’m a weekly. If they updated your transcripts today, then that may mean that you are a daily (cycle codes ending with numbers 1 through 4 are dailys and ending with 5 are weeklies).

Thanks for the info Justgowithit. I was worried I would have to file an amended return, but if it’s something they could adjust, I would prefer that because it would get done faster. I thought my return amount appeared way higher than it should have been, even with the increase to the CTC this year. I just happen to be scanning all of my documents today and noticed the fine print on the 6419 letters. I agree, they should have just sent one out.

Ive been a weekly for 3 years now. But never had an 0805 . Do you think that can tell you if your an 05 daily(they do exist) or a flat out weekly. I’ve seen some with an 0605 or 0705 that update daily but also weekly. Just trying to create a different conversation lol

I did the same thing JD. But it was corrected on 2/25 so now I have to just wait. I don’t know why they split it like that especially if we’re filing joint. One notice would have sufficed

I just realized that I didn’t claim my husband’s ACTC. I claimed mine, but I thought the letters were duplicates because he doesn’t work. The ACTC was split in half.

It actually happened on Friday for me. Woke up to 3/14 and then late in the day it snapped back to 3/7. So weird.

I haven’t received any updates as well. But I realized this morning that I under-reported the advanced child tax credit that was issued each month during the second half of 2021. I didn’t realize they split the reporting amount between my wife and myself. She doesn’t work so I thought it was just a duplicate letter. Hopefully, it doesn’t cause a huge delay and gets adjusted on their end versus me having to file an amended return.

Part 2: That is usually the case when we get letters from the IRS because we file jointly. But it turns out they split the amount issued between us evenly and I was supposed to add both amounts together. I thought my return seemed higher than it should have been. I am hoping they just make the adjustment on their end and don’t require an amended return, but I will have to wait and see.

My return has been in received since than.. looking at prior transcript I’m a weekly 05. I’m assuming by me filing on the weekend it’s like that’s consider that following week.

Tax advocates are not available until May. If you need to speak to the IRS call (877) 777-4778 option 1 then option 1 again. Ask to be transferred to accounts management for help with refund because it’s over 21 days. The secretary at the tax advocates office will transfer you to the IRS. Other numbers do not work for me.

Anyone logging in and seeing amount in green check the where’s my refund on ma. I was in green no letters in my account and then I checked where’s my refund and it shows letter mailed. When I called she said it’s a verification letter that can’t be put online. Now I have to Wait for letter mailed 2/14. Hopefully after I do what’s on the letter it won’t take long 🙏🏼
