Filed and accepted 1/27. Filed jointly. My spouse and I’s wmr isn’t the same and either is the transcripts. Mine is still processing and theirs is delayed. However my as of date is 2/21/22 Friday it was 3/14/22. Then Went back to 2/21/22 I’m a weekly so not sure if that’s why I’m still at 2/21/22. Or could that mean I was put at the back of the line. Just odd it’s a past date. Also we both tried to verify and it said unable to help and something about 21 days.

I have 570 with no 971 code. A rep told me they were reviewing my dependents smh the same dependents I always file but I did add my new child born in 2021 I got a notice today but it was Letter 6475 letting me know I got 4200 in stimulus payments and I’m like duhhhh so why am I being held up smh. I hope I update with 571 since I still haven’t got any other letter besides this one.

I’m going through the same thing. My original deposit date was 2/24 but I guess the account information was wrong so they are mailing me a check. Every time I call they tell me my check is “processing” or they are delayed or that my check hasn’t even been printed yet!

So I e filed with my usual tax professional and it was accepted February 8th checked status because of the 21 day recommend wait time but when I check irs website it no longer shows processing bar, it shows the message that says “still being processed”
So needless to say I’m getting worried something is wrong,

@derrick w called again today got a nice lady who told me yes, they did receive my email with w-2 &end of year pay stubs &that it had been forwarded to be submitted &reviewed but this process generally takes 8-12 weeks from the date they got it (24th for me )& that rarely does it happen sooner than. can keep calling to check but it’s a long waiting game thanks to Covid and short staffed ness. But it’s not an audit & shouldn’t impact my federal.

@susan I used a different tax software this year because of turbo tax constantly pushing back the availability of the injured spouse form being available.
So far upon checking my transcript I have an as of date of 03/07/22; I filed on 02/11/22

Mail has been delayed, sometimes a letter may take a few days extra, I would not panic, also if you have an account online with the IRS you can see any correspondence or notices sent to you, sometimes notices won’t be seen online, but I would sign up for that service.

I think you should call the IRS if you are not aware of what you were receiving, do you know what the notice was?

I hope so. I have a processed date of 3/14, but I file Injured Spouse so I know mine may take longer. My as of date right now is the same as my processing date, but at least it’s moving along a lot faster than it did LAST year! Just hoping I don’t get pushed back, would be nice if they could just go ahead and finish it up since they’re so close anyway.

What Jahnai sent about the number is correct. From start to finish I was on the phone for 4 hours 16 minutes. They didn’t tell me anything other than even though I verified on the 18th, it is showing I verified on the 24th and to wait nine weeks from the 24th before I call back. SMH.

I used Turbo Tax this year and it has gone back and forth on when I can file the injured spouse form. Currently its now on 3/10, up from 3/17. But i be noticed some of you said you used other tax preparation software and didn’t have to wait?

Filed & accepted 1/31. On WMR: no bars, no tax topic since 2/4. Transcripts N/A. No notices mailed or issued according to my online IRS account. I called the IRS. The IRS representative was kind and understanding, but from his end he couldn’t do much to help me. He said my return was transferred to the errors department, and from what he was seeing on my account, everything looked fine. The errors department is just backlogged.

Not sure if anyone else has gone through this but if so what was the outcome… I done my taxes on the 30th January and was accepted on the 1st February..I was able to see transcripts very quickly after that..I had codes 424, 810 and 971 now I have codes 420,810 and 971 for about 2 1/2 weeks. I did receive the letter cp75 to proove my children and hoh and faxed all information needed the same night which was a week and a half ago. I’ve been claiming my children and hoh for a few years now without a problem. My question is how long will it take for an update or some movement. Thanks in advance

Hi,
I know alot of you been following my post so I decided to create a new one with my own refund journey since I’m no longer in limbo.

Ok so when I went online to try to id verify I got the the we can not assist you online message. Now I already have a ip pin. I did call the IRS for confirmation t to see if I had to. The answer was no!

The lady without me asking told me I had a 7 to 10 day hold on my refund starting 03-14-2022. Expect refund on the 21.
To make this clear my refund is fully done it’s just the payout I’m waiting for. Now I’m thinking that I will have DD before then she just gave me the max.

Now it’s alot of debate with the still processing and it is being processed. No difference!!! I have the it is still being processed date when available no refund amount tax topic 152.

For mine I got a 1400 increase. But she confirmed
My tax return is processed!!!! I’m waiting on my 570/971 to update to 846 release of funds since adjustments were made. She said I don’t have to do anything but wait to get paid.

So, SBTPG claims my bank rejected my direct deposit, but my bank says they never received or rejected a deposit from TPG. I have called numerous times and I get a different answer every time. I was told that a check was mailed on 2/28, then that the check was mailed 3/1, now they say it was mailed today. I have no faith whatsoever that I will ever see the over $1,000 I am owed. Will never pay from refund again. May never use Turbo tax again, honestly.

Mine last Friday showed the reduction and my as of date 3/14. I’m thinking we should have a date by tomorrow seems like they holding a week I pray I get my date tomorrow got rent to pay so I don’t be homeless. But last week it changed to a 971 date of 3/14 and a 570 3/14 comparing mine to last year my 971 date was 4/19 and looking at old bank statements I got my refund 4/9 so I’m praying 🙏🏼

Are you seeing the codes on your return transcript? Most of us don’t even see that yet!

If you will look on about every post there is information on this. It won’t take 8 weeks. That is very common for the IRS to tell you that. You should see movement soon if they truly fixed it.
