I read online that most people are dailies, but I’ve been a weekly for about a decade. it seems like you’re only a weekly if you’ve had something that requires an extra look at your return(bankruptcy, SS issues, identity theft, etc….)? I’ve never had anything of the sort.
I also file extremely simple returns: one W-2, single, no dependants, VERY small refund(not even $1,000), didn’t even have EITC this year! Would there be any reason they’d clock me as needing to be a weekly? it’s frustrating ever single year because I see so many people file the same day and get their’s so much faster.
Additionally info needed 🥴 I changed my dd this year I wonder if it is because of that. I also can’t see letter online. Daughter still processing 2/6

Filed 2/8 (only ACTC) accepted within 30 minutes, I have one bar on WMR, but BUT for my SS# it changed to still processing with tt152 as of yesterday, and hubs SS# it updated to saying refund has been delayed spiel BEFORE 21 days… nothing showing on transcripts N/A on the first three 2022 on the last blank and no notices showing on mine (no access to hubs) I called today and she was super nice, but was completely unable to find that my return had even been filed yet, she put me on hold 3 times to ask more questions and check again…told me to call back in 14 days and I could tell she had no clue what the issue was 😞 Anyone have any insights???

NYS doesn’t update overnight/ early morning like federal … NYS usually updates between 12pm as late as 5pm

I still don’t have a DDD for my state refund.
Still inside green parentheses for me. This is the longest it has ever taken for my refund.
Any update guys I know y’all date was 2/23? my ddd is 3/1 shows unfunded but everyone else says funded.

@AD how were you able to see your letter? For some reason it’s showing there was no letters sent out to me when I log in. It only says a letter was sent from the “WMR”
I got the same letter updated. I went on tax connect to view the letter. I was selected for verify. They want a copy of all w2s and mr social card. What a joke not even worth my time
Wow.. mine updated to saying a letter was sent out too smh MA DOR slacking this year! Smdh
So I legally changed my name in Nov 22. Received my new SSC and State ID with new name 2 weeks later.
Filed and taxes accepted 1/23 with my new name. I have EITC, filed through HRB to he deposited in CA. No bars, still not processed. I called the IRS and they said I have no notes on my account but it “could be yoir name change, who knows” and “it’s in a pile to be processed at some point this year “. Anyone else told to just wait a up to a year.No change

mine is now updated to additional info needed, letter mailed 2/27/23. Ive been filing for years on my own but this year I used a tax preparer so maybe they need ID verification? Not sure but I cant believe they took that long and now it says to allow more time just for the letter to get to me 🤦♀️ so annoyed but thankful its finally not saying “processing”
Hope everyone else’s updates soon and/or DD hits for y’allFiled 2/16 and hadn’t heard anything back from indiana DOR .Got a letter today stating that my return is under review 🤷🏽♀️ I started a business last year and did some contract work and I think that’s why I was flagged .
Finally at 12:30 refund issued.
Took 29 daysMine still processing. My son updated to additional information is needed and a letter was mailed. I’m sure it’s probably i.d. verify. If i remember correctly this happens when it’s your first time filing. But i could be wrong. What i do know is he is pissed. He wants his measly 261 dollars lol
I already did , she said there was nothing wrong with my return and that is just processing. She then said it takes 4-6 weeks and that I had couple more weeks left that I could wait 🤣

How do you know if you are being audited by the IRS ?

@saeslay23 you’re welcome. Was not in mailbox but showed scanned on informed delivery this morning. In Texas and post office closed now. Will hopefully find out what’s going on tomorrow. Got everything else that was scanned except the long awaited check:(
Looks like I’m the only one who still hasn’t received a state refund. Accepted 1/23. Sent a few emails & they always reply allow time for processing. Normally receive pretty quickly
I’ve messaged them and keep receiving the same generic message of processing takes 4-6 weeks
Why oh why, does Colorado ask you for DD information and then mail you a check?
Hi all, this tax year has been stressful for everyone. For the first time ever, our return has been delayed, naturally, we are stressing. So I called the IRS, here is how I got some very nice people on the phone.
I called 800-829-1040
1 for english
immediately after the spiel about phone systems changing, press 3
as soon as it clicks over, press 2,
After that, press 7
Then 1, and one again.
You will get an agent that will ask you where to direct your call, tell them the status of your return, they will then live transfer you to an agent.
Good luck all!Where on earth did the IRS get the lazy people they’ve hired? No answers to my questions answered and just stuck on one bar with a message of delayed beyond usual timeframe. With 152 of course.
