Howdy folks! I figured I would start a thread for those of us who feel we’re over the hurdle (missing bars, no DDD, etc) to share any progress we make.
This is intended for those with a 1/30 DDD whom elected to choose direct deposit into their bank account (not a card) while having their tax prep fees removed from their refund.

As of now Republic Bank (used by taxact) has no record of receiving my refund yet. Have any of you had any luck or results with SBBT / RB receiving your refund yet?
I have used this method of filing and refund acceptance my entire adult life, and with the exception of last year I have always had my funds available through Wells Fargo 1-2 days before the “by” date listed on WMR.

Last year my refund was deposited on 2/7 @ 1:30 am est, so the irs must send funds to sbbt before the actual ddd. I’m pretty sure sbbt doesn’t send funds @ midnight lol

Correct, banks itself won’t hold your funds when they see the deposit. People continue to think that banks will hold onto it for 3 days or so for the bank to gain interest. The only part or company that holds it is sbbt. Once sbbt sends after it has approved all fees are paid it will be in your account within 24 hours. If you see your info on the sbbt website you should expect your deposit within 24 hours.

“By” was used last year as well and deposits were only made on the “by” date…100’s here can attest to that, be patient your money will be here anyday. Wish I could say the same!

The wording this year is different than last year. They actually sent out the deposits starting Monday. Last year it said sent on February 6….. This year it says by January 30. That’s why people who didn’t use a bank like SBBT have received their money last night or it shows pending

Based on my experience with SBBT , they will receive your refund on the day the IRS sends, which is the 30th. They will process and send to your bank on the, depends on who you bank with at that point. Mine took 2 days from the day the irs deposited to sbbt but the year before it only took 2 day to deposit in my account from SBBT. It varies, just knowing you will have within 3 business days of the 30th is awesome!

Hey, this is my first time using the rush card i just applied for it last week I was able to get the deposit information via text I have not received the card yet, I am hoping it comes today… I filed the 20th excepted the 20th finally got a ddd for the 30th.last night. if the card comes today after I activate it i will let yall know if the deposit is on there I hope so!! I am new to this site and reviewed the link that bill posted. I also filed and accepted on tt on 1/20. 1 bar on wmr and 2014 transcripts at n/a except for wage which states no returned filed.

In the irs link, it explains the difference between daily and weekly processing. Some returns are proceeded as daily and the others as weekly ( not sure how they determine this).

Here is the info:

In January 2012, IMF began processing TEPs daily for daily transactions directed to daily taxpayer accounts. All BMF, EPMF, and IMF weekly accounts or transactions will be processed at ECC-MTB on Thursdays. The acceleration of the cycle results in the inability for a campus to extend a production cycle.

The cycle number used as the GMF Campus Production Cycle for one week will be the same cycle number used as the ECC-MTB Posting Cycles when posting occurs. The cycle number, then, describes the same information being processed.

Example:

The GMF Campus Production Cycle 201504 runs from Thursday, January 22, 2015, through Wednesday, January 28, 2015. The ECC-MTB Posting Cycle 201504 runs from Friday, January 23, 2015, through Thursday, January 29, 2015. BMF, EPMF and IMF weekly transactions and weekly accounts will be processed on the last day (Thursday) of the Posting Cycle.

For IMF, there are three dead cycles each year. For 2015, they are ECC-MTB Posting Cycles 201501, 201502, and 201503. IMF transactions that are sent from the campus locations during GMF Campus Production Cycles 201501, 201502, 201503, and 201504 will attempt to post to the IMF during ECC-MTB Posting Cycle 201504.

This is a bit confusing…. But I interpret that we are probably all on a weekly cycle instead of daily. Dice the did not process files during the “dead” cycles (jan 1-jan 21 returns filed and accepted) , the will all be processed by tomorrow, jan 29th.

I hope this is true and we will be able to see our transcripts tomorrow night/ Friday morning with a Ddd to follow

So like many of you I have received the ddd of the 30th after being accepted on the 20th. I am a lead teller at BOA and from what I’ve seen and questions I’ve answered including asking my GM, banks can’t hold your deposit for your federal taxes soon as your bank sees it then it would be deposited the next filing day at the latest. But most banks, including BOA release funds soon as we get them. The longer wait process is to pay other Fees you had. Sbbt will first get your refund, after they receive it they will verify all your fees are paid and will be released. This can take from an hour to the next day for sbbt. My DDd is the 30th, but my boss said to expect it the morning of the 29th or around 2 am the 30th. Hope this helps.

Bart can you verify if your transcript has a code 846 that means that your refund is processed and is going to be deposited. I still only have one bar on wmr. Was accepted on 1/24. Also cycle date is 20150403. Will I get a refund soon?

Im wondering am i a weekly last year my refund was due 2/12/14 and i called and spoke with a irs worker, although i filed 1/16 and ACCEPTED 1/20 they didnt start working on my return UNTIL 1/21 which is a Wednesday so im wondering am i a weekly? @Kellie: I hope that you are correct in your statement. I just looked back on my last 3 years of transcripts and mine varied slightly. For TY13 it was 20141203, for TY12 it was 20130603 and for TY11 it was 20120505; so in 2011 mine was different.

In the case that there is a weekly cycle for people, for the last two years I’ve been on 03 (1203, 0603), which would equate to Monday by your calculations. How is the week determined though? I’ve also seen some speculation as to changes to the day numbers for TY2014.

2nd. I filed through TT, and was accepted on the 23rd. Yesterday, I tried for the first time to order my transcipts. The only one has for 2014 that does not have n/a next to it for 2014 is the Wage & income transcript category. When I click on the 2014 in that category, it simply says:
Request date: today’s date
Response date: today’s date
Tracking number : 100227149821

My social security number
tax period requested : December, 2014
form number : all forms

No record of return filed

I’m assuming this just means that my return hasn’t been processed yet? Can you please let me know if my assumption is correct?
