Submitted in late March. Now in mid July and no sign of progress. This is a joke.
AnonymousWell it just keeps getting better. I just received letter 2645C today and it could take up to another 30 days to process my return. What a load of crap.
Karen FullerI am looking for the status of my form 8379 mailed on May 20, 2015

redhaloLong story short, I was in default, but am now rehabbing my Student Loans. It has been a tremendous weight lifted from my shoulders, needless to say.
I applied for a hardship, anticipating that my refund would surely be flagged for offset this year. I have not received any confirmation that my hardship has been granted, however, according to the FMS TOP hotline, I have “no non-tax debts” when it before (before being about 3 months ago) that I had one debt found for my SSN.
My question is this, if there are no debts found in the database, nor can the collection agencies find any offset, am I safe to assume that my refund will be safely and soundly deposited into my bank account?
I have also spoken with a taxpayer advocate (whom I am working with concerning a separate issue), who also confirmed that she saw no offset flag for my SSN.
Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
L CarlisleI sent in electronically our state taxes January 25, 2015, and as of July 12, 2015, we have still not received our refund. All calls to the state are the stupid electronic voice, and just state our return is under review. What’s up with this?
CathyI’ve waited 75 days since the letter was posted, I’ve called the number 800.829.1040 and it says due to high call volumes your call cannot be completed at this time so I can’t even speak to a person. I’ve gotten this message the last 3 days. Does anyone have another number to call?!
July 12, 2015 at 3:45 pm in reply to: ONLY POST IF U HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO ORDER 2014 TRANSCRIPTS. #4112595College StudentI filed my 1040-EZ in April, had the right address on the copies and everything. Then when I try to get my transcript for financial aid, it says my address doesn’t match. What happened? I typed it just as it appeared on my copy and even tried rewriting “avenue”. Does NW have to be written out?

I filed a paper tax return on the last day April 14, 2015. I was worried that it says process pending and it is half way through July!!!
July 9, 2015 at 2:10 pm in reply to: Anyone stuck on "Your refund is still being processed" #4112579terribusa**Update**
After being stuck in ” Your refund is Processing Hell” we finally got the $$$ today.
Just some History:
Filled: 02/2015
Nothing happened until last week, we called about 2 times during the process and we were never given a reason for the delay. Just wanted ALL to know there is hope!! Good Luck!!!AnonymousI sent my return in the first week of February. We had to mail it in along with copies of my federal return, because we file multiple states, and there is some rule about that, not sure, my accountant tells me. We sent the full federal return, all the w-2’s, etc. We do not live in MS, just one of the contract companies is based out of MS, so it wasn’t much income, small refund owed of $265. I called today and was told they needed a copy of the w-2 for the MS company……… even though we went that to them. This was NOT an electronic filing. So I sent it via email anyway and was told it was attached to the account now. So it’s been sitting there for FIVE months? They needed a w-2 that was already sent to them? For a small refund? This is ridiculous.

NicoleI am the custodial Parent, I am over over $7000 in back child support. The Noncustodial Parent works on and off each year, most years I receive nothing. This year the Noncustodial Parent filed his 2014 tax, married filing jointly (they were married 7/2014), I would like to know how I find out if the return was seized?
His case already has a seize order in effect with the local office (Schenectady NY), and other then his 2013 taxes he has NEVER filed a tax return (I did receive $160 something for the 2013 refund), but this is the 1st year he’s filed as married, and he didn’t contribute much to the 2014 net income. His wife on the other hand works, FT over 40hrs a week and she has a better then minimum wage job.
I called my local office and they said that they don’t seize her part of the refund, but I’ve been doing some research and according to Federal law they can (I think), as I meet all of the guidelines. I don’t receive any kind of state assistance, MY husband’s employer provides all the health insurance.
I know from the Noncustodial Parent that they are receiving over $5000 in federal refund money, and I want to make sure my daughter receives what is owed to her. Can someone provide any help with this information as I have already made all the calls I can and can’t get anywhere. I know that it can take anywhere from 30days to 180 days (or longer), but is there anywhere I can turn to to even see if I should be receiving anything?
I filed on Jan 29th accepted on that date. Got letter about review sent in info. Said if I disagreed send in additional info. Did that in April. They got on April 3rd. Got a letter around June 29th telling me they had not looked at info and need an additional 45 days to review.
July 8, 2015 at 4:13 am in reply to: Anyone stuck on "Your refund is still being processed" #4112566RobertIt’s been 13 weeks now and still no federal refund, nor any letters. I finally called after 7 weeks and was told by the person that they saw no problem with my refund and then they said it had been under review and that it had ended that week. They said wait another 4 or 5 weeks and you should have it, that was 6 weeks ago, hence 13 weeks since filing. The IRS person told me that if my refund isn’t paid by April 30th, the IRS owes me interest starting from April 15th until deposited.
Of course the interest rate varies and is only around 3%, the IRS charges late filers high penalties and 9% interest until paid, something is B.S. there. Oh, and the interest they pay is taxable income so it gets added to any wages I receive. Apparently 100,000 people had their information stolen from an online tax preparer and over 20,000 false returns were filed before the real person could file, hence they held everyone’s refund up for review that filed online.July 7, 2015 at 7:20 pm in reply to: ” ID VERIFY ” Process – Calling in or answering questions online? #4112565KarlaWell, I filed our taxes on 2/14/15. First refund date was 3/7. Got the “Letter” on 3/5-verified and got the Congratulations message and waited and waited and waited. Finally called the magic number and spoke to a very nice agent who informed me that on April 26, our case was officially closed in the Income Verification Dept and our refund should have been released. SHOULD HAVE BEEN..means they didn’t hit the “Send” button. He said he would send them an email and it should be released in 4 or 5 days since the mistake was clearly the Income Verification Dept. He advised I call back the following Monday if no change on the WMR site. So, on the following Monday I called the number and waited 1:45 minutes only to have a snarky agent tell me that although he was very nice and thorough- 4 or 5 days meant 45 days so don’t expect anything until 8/7. REALLY? YOUR MISTAKE and I have to suffer and wait for them to verify the case was closed on April 26??!! I had no words for the snarky, rude and otherwise mean spirited agent who had no problem throwing a colleague under the bus. Contradiction and just plain rudeness was all I got but once again I am playing the waiting game for our money. We shall see on 8/7 if there is any change in the status.
tkI have been waiting for 16 weeks…no word from IRS…no letters nothing. I have called several times..on June 10th they said the would need an additional 30 days..Called today that date isn’t up until the 13th of July. However, I should know something by then? Yeah like I believe that. Anybody else having this problem.
AnonymousWell I am in the same boat as all of you. I filed on February 2 and it was accepted that same day. I got the letter a few weeks later and it was dated February 20. I waited the 60 days and called but they had to refer it out to another group for more review. That tacked on another 45 days. After that time frame was over I called again and they said since no letter has been sent out and nobody contacted me they are going to process my refund to be paid which could take another 30 to 45 days, that was on June 15. It has been 137 days since the letter was sent to me with no refund. All I can do right now is just wait.
July 5, 2015 at 5:44 pm in reply to: Anyone stuck on "Your refund is still being processed" #4112558Dena HaleI am semi-glad to see I am not alone. We filed in February and received 2 separate letters that we were still being “reviewed”. I called at the end and requested a review, which gives the IRS team 6 more weeks. Friday, a holiday for them, was the end of that time and I still show “under review” with no letter or correspondence by the deadline. I had the taxes professionally done by our accountant. Very disheartening. I will be trying to call again tomorrow. The TAC team said they cannot expedite unless we can show a foreclosure or shut-off notice…. I am not prepared to ruin my credit to obtain my taxes back. Not yet anyhow. I just wish some one at the IRS would give me a straight and clear answer before we do ruin our credit…making our business bills is getting a bit hard and they owe us a nice sum.
Good luck to all and I do hope a moderator is seeing these and not wasting this opportunity to obtain customer dissatisfaction details. I am glad Terribusa received some good news…hopefully they are batching and we can hear something soon.

Michae JohnsonI amended my 2014 tax return on April 17, 2014 , that is the date it shows received by the IRS . I am on my 12 week and nothing has changed , it says still processing . About how much longer will I be waiting to receive any type of update , let alone a refunded check ?
wbaslerI filed my federal tax refund on April 13, 2015, via HR Block, electronically.
My return was accepted immediately. Since that time, WMR has been showing “your return is still being processed. Today is July 3 and I have heard not a word from IRS.
In my experience, it is impossible to get through to a live person at IRS.
I am a disabled vet and could sure use that refund.July 2, 2015 at 12:54 pm in reply to: Anyone stuck on "Your refund is still being processed" #4112545Dean4/2/15 – Return accepted by IRS
4/28/15 – Review letter 4464C received (wait 60 days)
7/2/15 – (65 days later) “Where’s my refund” website says it’s “still being processed.” The phone number on the 4464C form gets me an automated system that says the same thing as the WMR website.
It is my opinion that the IRS is either corrupt or incompetent. I have decided that, as of my first paycheck in July, I am going to claim the maximum number of dependences allowed by law for me. I will never again allow these corrupt/clueless people to hold any additional monies other than what I owe. I would rather owe the IRS on April 15 than suffer the BS that they are putting us all through now.Dean4/2/15 – Return accepted by IRS

This was our first Yr filing an IS ~ we e-filed on Feb 19th ~ then 10days later were informed of our offset ~ I filed the 8379 form right away & received out state refund within 8wks but are still waiting on our Fed refund ~ I’ve called the line with extension I originally called and now it says due to high call volume they’re not accepting calls at this time & hangs up.
FRUSTRATED!!

I filed in March. In April I was told to fax my w2s into the Indiana Dept of Revenue. It was received by them 4/9. Tomorrow is the 12th week since that date which is the last “deadline” they gave me. I will call tomorrow but beginning to believe I will never see this refund.
July 1, 2015 at 6:16 pm in reply to: Anyone stuck on "Your refund is still being processed" #4112534StephThis is just absolutely ridiculous. My taxes were filled and accepted in January. The status has been “still prossesing” for SEVEN MONTHS now. Mind you all I submitted was my w-2, and a 1040 form that I received from my Univerisity for the taxes I pay on my tuition. My refund is 3K! I don’t understand what the hold up is.
shellIts been 3 1/2 wks since I put in my refreel. It updated last Friday 6/25/15 stating my taxes were being processed. Today 7/1/15 its stating the same thing!!! I read around and some people say sometimes wmr is behind on updating andthe checks are already sent out even thiugh wmr website still says processing. Anyone ever experienced this?? Its been a long 15 wks my spouse and I worked hard for. Our money. I can’t call and speak to anyone live the automactic teller says the same thing wmr is stating refund is being processed so I hope that’s a sign that its on the way.
LucyI am a victim of identity theft this year and was absolutely devastated when my electronic return was rejected. I mailed in my return with the Identity Theft form with anything I could possibly find to verify my identity on 2/6/3015. I got a letter about 30 days later from the IRS asking me to fax a copy of my W2 to them. Finally after calling every 2-3 days, they put my return in on 4/9/2015, BUT that didn’t mean it was being worked on according to the rep. I called again this past week and they said it was being worked on, it would take a couple of weeks. WHATEVER! I think they say things like that to get “us” to stop calling. I called again yesterday and was told my return was complete, they added a $55 interest, isn’t much but every penny counts, and that I cannot get direct deposit since this is an identity theft case and my check would be mailed out on Monday 7/6. I’ll be calling again on Tuesday. I always call the identity theft line, I always get thru, sometimes I wait for 15 min other times maybe 45 min. 800-908-4490. I’ll write an update after my call on Tuesday.
June 30, 2015 at 10:05 pm in reply to: Anyone stuck on "Your refund is still being processed" #4112528AnonymousWhat is the processing time limit and what amount of interest are they required to pay you after that date? They owe me well into the 6-figures, and they are sitting on it looking for any reason in the world to delay it longer and longer. I know that the return is good as it has been triple-checked. They just don’t understand it. I guess is part of the review, but they asked for ID verification. It’s a joint return and the system would only take the primary (not secondary) taxpayer. That’s me. The system says it cannot verify my identity – either because they only want the primary taxpayer or they have information wrong about me – the secondary. They must have it wrong as I know who I am. They have been willing and eager to take money year after year without identifying me over and over again. Now that they owe me money they are trying to hold onto it for as long as they can. My accountant told me that the IRS has changed in recent years and now it’s become this totalitarian monster where you have no rights. It supposedly has nothing to do with budget cuts, but a change in attitude. I asked my accountant if we could request an audit – so they could just address their “concerns”, but he told me that the IRS won’t allow anyone to request an audit. I have nothing to hide and it would be worth the expense for them to sit there tongue-tied.
June 30, 2015 at 3:07 pm in reply to: Anyone stuck on "Your refund is still being processed" #4112526lostinlimboHello everyone stuck on return processing, no letters, no notice no change on transcript since 2/25/2015 It is June 30 2015 and no refund called daily up until a couple weeks ago after I was transferred to an non-working extension. Worked there over 10 years and never ever have I heard of such nonsense. There was never an issue like I am seeing these days this is just awful, I have requested an advocate to help What A Joke! they lost the referral… TWICE. My refund was processed then it went to error processing it was off a digit on their behalf was told it would be CORRECTED and that I would receive a notice of correction and DDD, that was in April. It is over 14 weeks over 60 days and well over the processing time limit.
For anyone to get their refund after the processing time limit we should be given interest. Sadly my former employer lately is so eager to take money but not refund those that obey the tax laws.lostinlimboWell I efiled 2/25/2015, accepted and was notified that my form was accepted and processed 3/23/2015. Apparently my refund was “lost” and the code was put in twice this was sent to error resolution and to this day NO contact no one can help nor does an advocate assist in anyway. No notice, no letters and daily calling the toll free number, the advocate number gets me absolutly no where either hung up on, asked how I would like to make a payment…. total crap!
it is over 14 weeks, 60 days —- 4 months of silenceMarkFinally and do I mean finally I will be getting my taxes back after six months of wanting as I posted on here a few months ago about my taxes after I got that notice the 60 day review had pass and I didn’t hear anything from the IRS and on “where’s my refund” it said the same thing so I call up IRS again and I told them that my review is over whats the problem and why is my taxes being held I did everything legit like always and the representative told me that she didn’t know anything and that my taxes was being held by another department within the IRS and that she will send them a referral letter that would take up to 30 days for either they will release my taxes or they would send me a letter stating why my taxes is being held I was so piss.Another 30 days I’ve to wait so this pass Saturday I happen to check where’s my refund and thank god I seen two bars saying that my taxes was approve and I will be getting my taxes this week.So If you’re under a review and your review has ended and you haven’t heard anything from IRS call them up and tell them to send the other department that’s holding your taxes a referral letter which should take up another 30 days for a response.

My wife is supposed to get 807 back. We have heard nothing at all other than receiving the letters saying they have applied both hers And my tax portion to the offset. Its now June 29th and nothing. Does anyone else have this issue. I have lost all faith in the IRS.
kTWhen did your IS form get accepted by the IRS? (Sorry, new here, you may have already furnished this info! :) lol)
June 26, 2015 at 2:57 pm in reply to: Anyone stuck on "Your refund is still being processed" #4112516PatrickIRS tracking site has said “Accepted” since Feb 22. Spoke with someone at the IRS building near me in April and verified all info is correct in their system. Was told I will get my direct deposit no later than the 2nd week of June. Still waiting, and my state tax was supposed to get automatically deducted from my fed return so now I have a late fee because somebody else is late. Only $6, but it’s infuriating that they can’t get it together.
June 26, 2015 at 6:05 am in reply to: Anyone stuck on "Your refund is still being processed" #4112513AnonymousYes, I’m stuck on that very place. I had my accountant call the IRS (my returns are too complex for me to understand) and found out that I “will be” reviewed. I like the way that I say I was flagged for review, but they aren’t even getting around to reviewing it or telling me until July 7th. Supposedly I have to wait 45 days until I can contact them again to find out what their problem is.
Their real problem is that I made a decent amount of money for many years except for 2014 whereby my income dropped very low. Of course, I am still making estimated payments now at the normal levels, but they somehow got it in their mind that this was “unusual”. It’s pretty lame to think I would file faithfully the same levels of income for many years, and one year just have a bad year. So instead of processing it – they think I am trying to cheat them. What am I going to do, run away to some pacific island? They are getting normal estimated payments in 2015. Anyone with a brain would understand that 2014 was a bad year. Instead they hold it up for review.
That wouldn’t be too bad, except that I know the reason for the drop in income, and a normal tax review will not understand it – I barely do. So it will then get kicked up to a higher review – and on and on until they find someone with brains to understand the return.
I really wish they would just audit me, so I could tell them specifically what to look for. Instead they are going to sift through 1000 pages of my 1040 looking for something that is so technical that most accountants can’t understand it.
I never realized until now that the IRS is full of stooges. And I am getting grief from them for something I know they will find no fault in.
To answer your question – yes … they take their sweet time telling you that you will be reviewed. And then you wait for the review to start, and then wait for them to read it. Good luck!AmberWe received a CP12A letter in the mail dated April 6th, 2015 stating that our adjusted gross income was miscalculated…thanks h&r block…and that we will be receiving a check in 4-6 weeks. Well that was 12 weeks ago. We can’t seem to find any help in the matter. We’ve gone through several IRS hotlines and h&r block. We’re are either hung up on or directed back to the place we started from. Is anyone else having this problem?? Will we ever get this refund??
June 25, 2015 at 10:48 am in reply to: Anyone stuck on "Your refund is still being processed" #4112511jakeThe IRS is pushing 12 weeks with my refund. I think the democrat tax people are too busy searching for tea party returns to audit.
The Mrs.Revived my refund in the mail today!! WMR still saying it’s being processed. Operator told me it would be mailed out on June 26. But it’s here and I’m glad the wait is over. There’s hope guys!!!
June 21, 2015 at 5:12 pm in reply to: Anyone stuck on "Your refund is still being processed" #4112497AnonymousYes, it’s only been since May 20 – but I have never had a problem with the IRS sitting on a return this long.
How do you know if you’re under review? Where’s my Refund just says that return is being processed and I will be notified when there will be a refund date.
I have not heard that a refund was approved, I haven’t heard anything.
I just received a CP45 notice telling me that my request for carryover of part of my refund into 2015 is not allowed because of “current activity on my 2014 return”. I have no idea of what they mean by “current activity.”
My best guess is that “current activity” means they are still working on it, and the CP45 notice was sent because they can’t credit a carryover for a return that has not been approved yet. Anyone have any idea as to what they are doing? Thanks.June 21, 2015 at 12:54 pm in reply to: Anyone stuck on "Your refund is still being processed" #4112495AnitaTacoMali, I had to laugh at your “posted on a board for them to laugh at” I feel the same way! I filed 2/6 and have received ZERO info since March when they said I’m under review, don’t call, don’t do anything unless we ask you to. Then I’ve heard nothing since. I didn’t have the obamacare form issue, no identity theft, or anything like that! Then they took off online transcripts because of the dTa breach they had a couple weeks ago. Wmr just still says processing. I Give up!
SkroseHello!
I was a victim of identity theft and knew it would take my refund up to 180 days to get to me. I paper filed in 2/13 and since then I was able to see through “Wheres my refund” that it was processing. Beginning yesterday it is telling me that the information I am typing in (which is the information i’ve been typing in for the last 4 months) is incorrect. I know it is not the incorrect information, but wondering if anyone else has had this problem? August will be 180 days so I am getting a bit anxious to get my return, I could really use it now!
Any help anyone can provide would be appreciated! Thanks!
SkroseHas anyone had any luck with receiving their refund after they were told their SSN was already used? I filed electronically on 2.12, was told my SSN was already used and then sent all of my information in by paper on 2.13 and still no refund. I’ve also been able to check my refund status on WMR previously and it would always say “Processing” but now it is telling me that my information is incorrect? Did anyone have any problems with that happening?
Thanks!
Scott ParksThis 2015 tax season, I E-filed my tax returns to the state of Iowa Treasury Dept. and Federal IRS before April 15. When my 20 year-old son E-filed his tax returns at about the same time through a different tax preparer, he forgot what I had told him to do, as per my accountant and tax preparer. Since I paid 100% of his college tuition in 2014, I was eligible for a tax credit so I claimed it on my tax returns.
PROBLEM: My son claimed himself as an exemption, something he was NOT supposed to do as per instructions from my accountant, but my son must have forgotten to tell his tax preparer everything regarding what I was filing on my returns. As a result, my son’s returns conflicted with mine. His E-filing went through as filed and it was processed very quickly. My E-filing was kicked back out of the system before it was even received by either the state of Iowa and/or the IRS. Subsequently, my accountant elected to handle the amended returns for both my son and I.
PROCESS: My son’s amended returns were filed using the 1040X form. My amended returns were filed using the 1040 form since both taxing bodies never received my returns since they were kicked out before they even reached their desks. It has been three weeks since my signed amended 1040 were sent via USPS to be processed through the Las Vegas, NV IRS office.
MY QUESTION: Since I can’t access information about the progress of my returns through the “Where’s my Amended Tax Refund?” service (because the service clearly states that 1040 forms sent as amended returns are not accessible through the service), do I track my returns through the “Where’s my Tax Refund?” service? Since my tax returns are technically a “first filing”, will they still be treated as such, even when my filing corrects and corresponds with my son’s 1040X amended return? Of course, I REALLY need to get my refunds in my account as soon as possible, but I am probably going to have a wait time as long as 12-16 weeks.
STUPID QUESTIONS?: Am I eligible for a Tax Refund Anticipation Loan? Or am I just out of luck, altogether, and need to hang in limbo until one of the two checks hits my bank account (or, perhaps, lands in my mailbox in paper check format which will take even longer)? I have car repairs and auto insurance and dentures to fix and DOT fines to pay before I can even conduct job interviews that the technical institute where I attend classes has set up for me. If this is the most convoluted ‘tax returns from Hell’ situation you have ever read about, maybe I can win a prize for that distinction from somewhere by someone so I can proceed with my Life As It Is and land a GOOD PAYING JOB I’ve been working my tail end off at College to qualify for these past 18 months!!! lol
If not … I think Catch 22 is going to destroy everything I have worked HARD for just because the 12-16 week processing time couldn’t have come at a WORSE time … thanks for reading this. Thanks for any advice you might have for me. If not, thanks to the bureaucracies who may be sending me my refunds someday, sometime, somehow whenever they darn well get around to it. Oh, I could win the lottery — ooops, using what? Somebody else’s money? No way…
LadybugCan anyone help me O still haven’t got a letter from the IRS or nothing in fact they said they still haven’t received my mail in 2011 tax return and its been 9 weeks now.
Could someone help with some advice
ThanksEnki1015Still waiting since jan 29th no updates on WMAR it now says: we have no information for the information you have entered. Been on hold on phone today two hours and still holding.
KateWe filed on 16 March, and as we moved last year, I had to do a paper return as a part-year resident for Maryland. This was posted on 17 March. I wish that I could have submitted an electronic return, but the tax software would not let me. My husband’s work erroneously continued to withhold for MD — their oversight, but our problem. Three months have passed, multiple phone calls to the Comptroller’s Office later, and nothing has happened except for the standard “Your return has been accepted and is processing” message which appeared in late May. I am so fed up!
We received our federal return ages ago, but nothing from Maryland.
June 18, 2015 at 4:21 pm in reply to: Anyone stuck on "Your refund is still being processed" #4112475MaliUpdate: it’s been 12 weeks! I called again. She said my return was posted on 4/20/15 (Im assuming it was posted on a board where everybody can see point at it and laugh) and it should not have been more than 45 days, so she had to send it to the processing area (where more people can laugh at it) and I should allowed another 45 days to get an answer.
Will I get interest on my money I asked… The entire IRS office is laughing at that now!LEFiled 4/15/15. Received federal in 10 days. MO still says ‘processing’. Finally called after 8 weeks and was told to wait another 2-4 weeks. They said the return has been received and nothing is wrong, but I have to wait. What’s up with MO refunds?
AliAliI mailed my refund in. But bc it was for 2013. I mailed it 15th of May it’s now the 16th of June they say they received it and it’s approved and suppose to be mailed on the 19th. I asked for direct deposit so I’m trying to find answers on why it won’t be dd.

BrianMy WMR still says my check is being processed, even though I have already received it.
If you haven’t gotten the number yet, try calling the Treasury Dept:Regional Financial Centers
Kansas City Financial Center – 816-414-2100 (For Arkansas)
Philadelphia Financial Center – 855-868-0151, Option 1 (For the Northeast and surrounding areas)
I can’t find numbers to any other areas in the country. Just ask the operator you are inquiring about your federal tax refund to confirm that it has been mailed out.

June 13, 2015 at 3:34 am in reply to: ” ID VERIFY ” Process – Calling in or answering questions online? #4112401MiniI just wanted to let everyone know I filed on 1.23.15 and wmr just updated to refund sent 6.13.15. It has been a long and painful wait, but it’s coming to an end! This happened after I verified my identity on May 27th, I didn’t receive a 5071c letter until late May. It was the first correspondence we received from the IRS regarding our 2014 tax return.
GAG!rl89So I was in the same boat , I filed and had the return sent to my fiance Walmart money card . It was attempted to be direct deposited on may,22,2015 , I called after finding out that it was rejected and sent back to the irs , called the irs on may 26, they explained that I would be mailed a paper check within 5 weeks , well I checked the site again and it stated that i needed to take action , so I called again the week of June 5th , I was told that I would receive a letter which I did on the 8th stating that my refund had been reduced for 2012 tax return and I should be receiving my refund in 2 to 3 weeks(I was fine with that ) !… so after the 8th I received another latter cp53a thats dated for June 22 ,2015 saying it would take 8-10 weeks … Im wondering will it really take that long I got my letters within a week of each other.. any advice would be good I see a lot about a TA , im wondering should I wait or find me a TA ??!!
drew@bjgc

Any help in telling me what this means would be greatly appreciated…..thanks
zachWMR updated to complete, saying “check sent” on Saturday. Still haven’t received anything.
Still waiting!I filed my nj taxes in February and I still havent received my refund. I called a month ago and was told my information would be expedited for review. It now June 10th and the rep. tells me it will take an additional 45 days for review. I told her did our fine governor need to review it for approval. UNREAL. Asked to talk to supervisor and got the run around. Folks call 609-292-6400 and demand immediate action towards your return.

Since than nothing, “being processed” on the WIMR, without any change. Nothing from IRS since, no mails, tried to reach them and can’t get through, tried to schedule an appointment at the local IRS, they don’t even reply back to me.
