I filed with TT. Accepted 1/21. Transcripts did that dance back and forth from * to N/A, still at N/A for Account and Return Transcripts. Account return transcript for 2021 has an as of date of 2/21. Wage transcript shows 2021 but says no return filed (figured they are not processed yet).

HOH 4 dependent children. EIC CTC I think I have the Additional credit as well.
The CTC payments I never got upfront.

I filed 1/24 and approved 1/25. Had been stuck on still processing message for weeks with NA transcripts. This morning my side bar had refund amount blank on WMR so I checked my transcript and there is finally info entered and a March 21 2022 as of date.

I contacted a federal attorney who specializes in cases against the Government. I was told that the IRS is purposely holding on to refunds for as long as the law allows them to, because they get interest off of it.

Hi Everyone, I am still on the phone holding. I have spoke to one person who told me that I needed to verify my identity as well as make sure my income match completely. I’m not sure why it’s doing this and I’ve been using the same tax person with my same little people(dependents) for the last 5 years. If it is a RFI letter upload your W2 and something showing you have been in same NY address entire year. If you have dependents upload something like school form that shows they lived with you. I sent my W2 and lease agreement that showed we all lived in same address. Check your account, left side bar, respond to a notice, see what kind of letter and respond now so you get off require review faster than them sending you the letter.

Has anyone received there refund through cash app I had to have my fees taken out of my refund and the SBTPG received it on March 1st my DDD was for March 2nd I got a notification from cash app at 443am I filed with Free Tax USA my federal refund was free but $14.99 for state and since I couldn’t pay it at that time a extra $19.99 was taken out of my account for state that I didn’t even need to do but had to so my refund amount after Free Tax USA $34.98 would be a little over $11,000

Hey mine says the same thing. My refund amount is 1400 less than what it was , my last codes were 971 and 570. I haven’t gotten any other codes yet. I don’t know when this was updated but I checked it last night. You said you got a 571 ,how long after did you receive the 571 code and have you received your refund yet ?

Many people put in the tax credit info from one of the letters the Irs sent. They sent a letter to each spouse and you were supposed to add the amount on the letters together because that’s how much you actually got in payments last year. Is it possible you fall into this category?

F/A 2/24, WMR updated on 2/26 with a DD for 3/2, my $ was DD into Regions. This was the fastest turnaround on a RF since 2015. What sucks is, I lost 1000’s of $$ this year due to my tax withholdings being too low (apparently they changed the tax law sometime between 2020-2021) ND I had no clue, needless to say I got screwed. They gave me my other 1/2 of CTC $1500, but no EIC this yr, so instead of a $5000-6000 RF, it was decreased to under $2000. Still grateful get something. Good 🤞

I FINALLY got my refund a whole month after my return was ACCEPTED! However, it’s thousands of dollars less than it should be. I input all of the stimulus AND “pre-credit” payments based on the IRS’s website, so there is NO WAY that I made the mistake! I’ve been trying to get a hold of ANYBODY to explain their mistake for the last week. I keep getting recordings saying they can’t take calls. Does ANYONE have a good number? The numbers given on this site no longer seem to work. I get the same “high volume” recording to make appointment at local tax center and same recording for the tax advocate! If they need to make any corrections, they may offset (reduce) your refund. In some cases, the correction might even increase your refund.

Intuit website states: Tax Topic 152 simply means your return is still in the processing stage and topics and bars disappearing mean the process is moving along.
The general timeline of e-filed returns is: Transmission > Acceptance > Processing > Approval > Refund.
The IRS started processing returns later than in prior years and as such has a backlog to work through. They also just recently started processing returns claiming EIC and/or ACTC.

I have a 570 too with a zero balance and a 20220805 I filed Feb 12 I didn’t have the last form with the total for the rebates so my cpa put 2200 instead of 2800 because I honestly couldn’t remember all the totals so much went in last year.
