Has anyone had a tax advocate before ? How long after the irs closes your referral do you receive your refund after it’s been adjusted ? The irs told my tax advocate she provided all the information the irs needed to process my refund and they will be adjusting my taxes and a date will up date soon . They closed out the tax advocate referral case to process my refund now that I provided all my W2’s My next contact date with my tax advocate is April 26 . Does tax advocates really work? I live in the state of Illinois I was assigned a tax advocate 03/04/22.

Some good news here!
House Bill 1302 was signed into law by Governor Kemp on March 23, 2022, so some taxpayers may have already filed their 2021 returns. The Department of Revenue will attempt to include the HB 1302 refund along with other refund amounts due. For taxpayers whose 2021 returns have already been processed, the Department of Revenue will issue a separate refund.

Called IRS 3/2 was told I got sent to the errors dept on 2/7 and had to wait the 10 weeks.
But this morning 3/23 my WMR updated to
“Still processing” except my amount is gone and my TT152 is back.

I’m in the same boat. Accepted 2/3 with an as of date of 2/28 and nothing has been updated since 2/10. I check every day but so far there has been NO update. I am getting super frustrated and extremely disappointed. How can we be almost a month past my as of date with no update?

I haven’t saw no movement either I do owe NC state taxes but it’s not showing any info..I filed 2/3 my return was accepted on the 28th for my state refund I received that email through tax act. and also no movement on my WMR or transcript for federal… 😒 fingers crossed some good news soon. I read on one of these sites we would see NC refunds the beginning of April 🤷🏻‍♀️ Who knows

The IRS corrected my TT refund and gave me an increase. Tpg only shows the deposit of the first amount without the increase. Not sure why? Maybe the increased amount is separate?

I have the same cycle code as you. 20221005. I looked at my transcript yesterday and seen As of 03/28/2022. And processing date 3/28/2022. Refund filed 3/28/2022. You got your 846 code with refund date, yes? When did your return get accepted? How long have you waited? Last year the IRS altered my tax return for the first stimulus. It was exactly 9 weeks to the date of issue. If the logic holds true we will see tax refunds in mid April. I filed 2/5/22 accepted same day. I have the still being processed message. I married last year and have step children added to my return. I expected a slight delay to verify the new information but I had no idea it could take ten weeks.

Filed 2/21 Accepted same day. With Tax act as of 3/19 have a 570/971 TC code as of 4/4/2022 (both same day auto adjust). Recovery Rebate was entered incorrectly on tax forms. Heard in some cases people are receiving DDD 12 days prior to the processing date. Hoping this is true but any real facts are better than pipe dreams. Please educate me on what to expect.

talked to tax advocate and they have my refund on hold and are reviewing my returns, that they randomly choose returns to do this to and I should receive my refund within 120 days.

Chime,cashapp,brinks all get deposited 2 days sooner if you have these cards and are funded tpg then you’ll have it today sometime idk why they say 2 days sooner but I have all 3 of these cards with deposits for all of them and I always get it the day before the deposited date

It’s funded but they are still holding the deposit for some interest of course. Chime deposit will begin to hit first later this afternoon, after 4pm-ish. Hope this helped!
