I received a 12c letter. I filed February 5 I haven’t had any updates not one answer when I called to talk to a live agent and then on April 11 I receive a transcript with ddd, to I receive a date and bars that moved to Ddd 3/15/22

This info from 7 yr rep. She gave me a new fax number and recommended to re fax. Hints call the IRS NUMBER PRESS 1 for English . Wait for the first prompt to stop press 2, 2,3,2 and wait . Should take u to general information rep. Transcript NA🤦‍♀️ Idk where or if I will get refund at this point

I’m in the same boat file first week of feb letter mar 1 asking for proofs of health insurance. Not sure why if I’ve been doing the same job for the last three yrs. I fax the very next day when I rec’d the letter. Also this weekend 4/08 a rep said the fax number listed on the “ irs letter” she didn’t know nothing about this number. She wasn’t sure about a new process but usually they send out notifications when something new is happening. Continue

Its been 5 weeks since I faxed in my W2’s and nothing…..This happened 2 years ago and it took an extra 4-5 weeks. Hopefully some movement for us this week. I have a simple return, no credits, and yet they want to confirm my income. A bit ridiculous.

I have been under review I filed 2/4
I got my letter on March 21.

Someone told me to check saa.gov to see what income was reported per the website it’s showing only ONE of the jobs I worked in 2021.
Which makes me think that my job I worked at for the other 9 months ( so the majority of my income ) didn’t turn into the Irs.. I did get a w2 from them… does anyone know what I should do , i have tried calling the Irs, never can get through I have called tax advocates whom told me they can’t help until May 17th…

I had to verify my ID, I did it online was a big PITA. You would think it would speed up the process not hold it up. I still can’t get ahold of anyone at the IRS either, can’t check status online but I can check it on the automated phone system. Still being processed. I’m going to try and get someone on the phone tomorrow ill update if I get through to someone.

it was at the 20 week mark or so and wasn’t until I called them did I find that out. It finally “disappeared” from the “where’s my amended return” status page. They told me they did that for everyone that filed one that was filed due to the unemployment tax.

So in a similar situation except the fault is on the employers side. Filed using the exact amounts on w2s. After 3 wks rcvd a 570 code then wmr went to delaye message. Couldnt figure out the issue. Decided to check ssa and sure enough the reported wages were $26 more than the w2s reflect. Idk how more was reported than what the w2 has. Last wk updated with 971 code still havent rcvd letter. No update this wk. Filed and accepted 3/8. Wondering what to expect

She said there are no notes but it is with the errors department and can take up to 10 weeks which would end on 5/13. Anyone else get sent to errors? Has anyone amended their return? Has it processed? How long did it take?

I entered some of the information on our w2’s wrong and was told today that starting on 4/11, we’d be going through a 120 day review. I asked if they’d fix my errors and the agent told me no and that I had to amend, so I went ahead and did it.

I’m trying to figure out if I’m looking at a full 4 months or what?

You need an 846 code the date next to that code will be your deposit date.

The negative balance shows the amount of the refund. I believe the 570 is a freeze code. I’m not sure the reason for yours. Mine is due to my employer failing to report my wages.

I got my DDD today for 4/13. Filed on 2/23 with IS cycle code 20221005 and last week as of date 3/28 or 4/15. Got notice last week on 3/28 and now refund will be coming on 4/13. Looks like they are back to the 6-8 week timeframe this year.

I just wanted to post and share that I filed 1/31 and didn’t have a change since Feb but I got my DDD for 4/13 at 6am. I have injured spouse and I never updated from 570 and couldn’t verify identity and did not call the IRS. Good luck everyone.

I have reviewed my last few years ddd and if the norm holds true those of us that saw an update on transcripts on March 25 should see an 846 code update early Friday morning. Next weekly deposit date should be scheduled for 4/13. Good luck everyone fingers crossed.

The only change is a 290 popped up on transcript for 4/18 for 0.00 and the date changed to the same date. No other movement for the unemployment refund. I’ve pretty much stopped looking . Today was the first time I’ve checked in quite awhile.

Tried to Call IRS the last 18 days straight. The message I keep getting is “We’re sorry due to high call volumes and the topic you requested we cannot help you with your issue. Please try calling back the next business day..” Filed 2/3 Accepted the same day. Only have a code 570 dated for 3/14. My as of date is still 3/14. Called HR block and told me what I already knew (Waiting on IRS to process) and what the IRS website states. Wondering If anyone is having similar issues? Cycle Code is 20220805.
