A 570 usually means they are manually reviewing your return and may require additional information, If you get a 971 that means they are mailing you something.

Well I tried to view them online but like most 3 out of 4 say n/a and the account one lets me open it and it says no return filed I think I will recheck in a minute but what I haven’t tried to do was request one by mail maybe I should try that lets see what happens, thank you.

@ Bruce Yep! But also if you search here, you get confirmation from tons of folks on that cycle code, and 846 has always been the refund release code. Expect an update tom morn. Congrats!

AngelaMarie – It means SBBT has taken out the fees and sent the remainder to your bank or prepaid debit card you specified when you did your tax return. It’s now out of their hands, check your bank or card.

The IRS issues ACH notifications to financial institutions two days prior to the actual deposit date. This notifies the institution that there is a deposit on its way. The notification contains the amount, date of deposit, routing and account numbers along with the name(s) the deposit is for. Typically the transfer of money takes place the day before the deposit date. It is then at the receiving financial institution’s discretion whether they release the funds when they were received or wait until the actual deposit date. Most majors banks sit on the funds until the actual deposit date to earn interest and release them whenever the process their ACH batches typically 2am-4am est. Prepaid cards usually post as soon as they recieve the notification as they have an agreement with tax preparers to receive a percentage of money the prepares make so they don’t make any interest from the funds that sit there for a day. For the ones who were told later dates, were u able to check wmr the original date u were accepted and have bars? I had bar the day I was accepted on the 30th. If u had bars that day, then they had to have accepted u.

Most likely, yours is pending (doesnt show on most online banking u would have had to speak with rep). If u get direct deposit for job, if same acct for your refund, will go by same timing your bank or card uses for payroll deposits.

I too am a 2/4 DDD. After 5pm today, my bank saw the pending deposit from IRS, and says available at 8am (keybanks normal processing time for deposit dates).

From what i kno, IRS transmits refunds twice daily– 8am and 430p. Could be wrong.

I supposed there really is no alarm but it is odd how the funds can appear on Netspend but not in other accounts. I split my return into three accounts this year to see which one would show up faster. I have USBank and card.com for the other amounts that are still pending and I am still waiting for my deposits to show up for the 2/4 date. I did notice that the WMR site states not to contact them until after 2/9 if I have not received the funds. I guess these two banks are just sitting on the funds that were dispursed this past Friday because I definitely got it on my netspend card Friday.

Code 846 means your refund has been issued. This year there were some dead cycles in the dates this year so some of them were resquenced the 03 and three others so they put them back in the system to be processed. Next to refund issued you will see a -xxxx.xx so a negative sign next to the number means it’s been applied to your account. The transcript DDD is always a couple weeks away from when you actually get it.. Which is actually much sooner.
Last year my cycle code ended in an 01 or an 02 and it says sent on 3/15/2014 but I actually got it 2/28.

I’m hoping someone can shed some light. I was accepted on the 1/26 and have been stuck on the “no bar, your being processed” scenario I see others having trouble with. After some research today I downloaded my transcript and there is the code 20150403 (which by some theories, means I should have already gotten my refund…I have not). There is also the 846 code at the bottom with delivery date 2/23. Does the fact that I have the 846 code mean the refund is on the way? I pulled last years transcript and the date said 2/24, but I received it on 2/7.

(*Note: Was married in 2014 and my husband had a past balance with the IRS, according to my transcript his balance has been deducted and I still have code 846…)

Just hoping for some insight, like most others we rely on a speedy return :) thanks

I spoke to an agent today. She said there was an error on my part, but that they had received and deducted that portion, which ended up being a $26 error. She said I would get the remainder of my refund by check, but that it hadn’t been approved yet. So not sure exactly what that means. She mentioned waiting a week or two for the check to come in.

So at least they are looking at returns. About time, considering it’s been two weeks tomorrow since I was accepted.

Just went back and checked SBBT and there is a 15 digit trace number associated with my direct deposit. That means my banks has ut the rep say..im about to call Amex Centurion Bank and demand they low thm funds hahaha..laughing but im dead serious. Its only 553pm in arizona..I have a long night ahead of me..u have to visit desktop version and at the bttm of screen it ask do you want to view further details and it gives u more detailed disbursement info!! Just an fyi!

My fiancee got a letter from the IRS yesterday saying that he did not include his 1095-a for the marketplace insurance. So we printed it out and faxed it to them this morning. The lady on the phone was not very helpful. She just kept referring us to the letter stating that it would take 6-8 weeks. I am sure it will not take that long being that it was not an amended return but yet a simple mistake. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue and how long do you think it will take to get itself worked out?

It’s under #group570. You have to search Facebook groups not pages and submit a request. It’s closed. I’m sure of Friday for me bc i was told I have tc571 on my transcripts now and that most likely Thursday, but maybe Friday, I would get 846 and wmr update. The way she explained it seemed like it was something everyone should experience unless they have other holds. It was a relieving morning for me. She reassured me several times and she told me I had 571 without me asking. 571 is release of hold by the way

I filed 1/23, state accepted 1/24, and I’ve got the message “We received your return and it required further review. While most returns are reviewed within 4 weeks, it may take up to 6 weeks to complete our review.”. Anybody else have this or had had a change from this status to something else??? Last year i had the 90 day message which after 90 turned to 120 days and didn’t get mine til May believe it or not. .

@sunshine: the theory is so far is that those with a penalty of less than a $100 went through without a problem. Don’t know how true that is but majority of the time we (this group I am in on fb #club570) found out that they owed less than a $100. Still speculation. We also noticed is that many filed before opening. Honestly, no one really knows if it was a system error, etc. Only IRS knows.

We’re expecting updates by friday. They got theirs because they filed after the beginning of tax season. This hit mostly early filers. Be expectant of movement at least by next Tuesday. That’s latest!
