Off to start the great waiting game…. good to see some familiar people…. i efiled this morning and it was accepted the same day 1/30…. i efiled my 8379 with my taxes this year… first time for it…. curious to see if it goes smoother…. last year i sent in my form the day i efiled it and it didn’t seem to take as long…. also i dont work and my husband does so we get all of our refund back…. now time to Wait….. good luck folks…

Quick question. Got my account transcript this morning with a Refund code of 846 with the correct amount. I do have a offset, do you feel if I had a offset it would show that on the transcript and the refund not issued? Do you think that I will not have the offset this year but maybe next?

Hi everyone – just a bit of info comparing this year to the past 2 years with regards to transcripts and how I think I interpreted them. My bank is Wells Fargo. Return submitted and accepted January 26, 2015.

2012 – Cycle Code: 20130805 (week of Feb 18-22, not sure what day 1 is for this year)
Refund Issue Date: 3/11/2013
Date $ in Bank: 2/27/2013

2013 – Cycle Code: 20140605 (week of Feb 3-7, day 5 Thursday – since last year day 1 was Friday)
Refund Issue Date: 2/24/2014
Date $ in bank: 2/12/2014

2014 – Cycle Code: 20150405 (week of Jan 26-30, day 5 Wednesday – since this year day 1 is Thursday)
Refund Issue Date: 2/12/2015
Date $ in bank: 2/2/2015*

* I based on the fact that in the past 2 years mine have showed in my Wells Fargo bank account 11 days before the Refund Issue Date noted on my transcripts. I hope that I am right on this one!

According to TurboTax, when I log into the site and utilize the refund tracker tool, indicated is that 52% of filers with TurboTax and an IRS acceptance date of 1/22 have received their refunds.

I called this morning and after a 20 minute hold talked to a person who said that my DDD is 2/4. I can see no transcripts, no DDD , accepted with 152 on WMR since 1/21. Just wanted to share. :)

Well I just checked and there has been no update to my WMR, I still have no bars and it still says being processed with the generic code of 152 tax topics.

Although my transcripts were available with cycle 20150405… 846 code 2/16/2015 date.

We will all have to remember next year about the cycle theory, it is the one that makes the most sense.

I’m with you. I could see my transcripts the beginning of the week at the same time the first batch could, but mine is stuck on “no return filed.” Now, this second batch has started seeing theirs & mine is STILL stuck on “no return filed.” So, I’ve been through 1 batch of people already receiving their deposits, and now another batch seeing transcripts while mine is stuck on the same thing it was almost a week ago.

And all of you that are just seeing account transcripts with “no return filed” for the first time today, thank you for the input, but it’s not the same as those of us who’ve had this for days on days. I was highly optimistic the first day or two that mine showed, but I’m not sure what to think now.

Jazzerella and Elle offsets will delay the refund a few days… you really should have an update this weekend….. and that is correct only if you are billed by the irs is when you owe the money… and if you do u will see taken on your account transcript…. i would keep checking ur transcript they do update a 5 pm est and then at night…

Meredith that’s a really good question… yes it will delay your refund and if you had till the 28th they allow up to 5 days for mail time…. if your return is actually processed before the 5 days is up then yes you will get the remainder if its not completed processing then no you will not get the remainder…

Giovanni no it has nothing to go with state return its just your not done… i would expect you to have an update by Monday…

0405 is the date it was processed. Last night… has nothing to do with an offset. The irs contacts you if you have offsets.

I just checked my 2011 scripts (year of the tax debt) and it’s been updated! Paid with this year’s refund and now has a 0.00 balance. That’s new BC it wasn’t there last night, just the monthly pymts I’ve been making. Progress!! Now I need a magic 846 gimme my money code. Technically, they are still within the 2/16 processing date time frame, so I shouldn’t be too worried. A little is better than nothing, I guess. :) hopefully by Monday I’ll see a DDD.

My friend filed through H&R Block and had her fees taken out through the RAL? Her refund was issued by IRS for payment today and now she is worried that she won’t receive her money into her bank account today because H&R Block sent her an email stating that they are in the process of processing her deposit but not to spend any money because it could take up to 3-5 days to be deposited into her bank account. I told her not to worry because her money would probably still be in her bank account by the end of the day. Any thoughts?????

This is me as well. I am at ease now because I am also an 05 cycle date. It just showed my acct transcript today with 00000 except for a Feb 16th date . This just means we are currently being processed and updated transcript in the morning tomorrow. :) our 05 cycle processes Friday thru sunday. So today and tomorrow updates. Since out update for today was a blank acct transcript available tomorrow’s update should be a complete transcript.

I woke up to an Account transcript ava and a cycle date of 20150405 and refund issued with the full amount for my return. I am happy WMR should update in the next two days or so I have netspend so I am really hoping I get my refund early like everyone else. I have seen quite a trend of people getting their refund the same day their transcripts showed up before WMR updated if they had netspend so I am hoping and praying. For everyone asking about the february 16th date…. it is just auto generated everyone who has already received their refund has had that date as well.

My advocate just phoned me. She has been informed that this should resolve itself by the 6th as opposed to the 16th. Now this is only for those with 896/570 only on their transcripts! This is just information she was given so please don’t kill me if it doesn’t occur!

This is for those with date of 2-16-2015. I don’t know what to believe anymore but for what it’s worth, I hope this helps out.

It is useful info for my situation because I am an 05 cycle and they started processing us Friday night so since I was able to actually view that transcript this morning is progress. For my cycle it shows that tonight is another update for my transcripts . So the blank acct transcript just means you are currently in the batch being processed

@Bill nope. It’s got all the basic codes from previous years, minus the 846. It’s not even showing they applied my refund to the offset even though WMR says it was. It’s just floating around in IRS limbo. I’ve never owed before and have no clue how long an offset could be delayed. I’ve seen other filers get DDD that had offsets, so I don’t know what the hold up could be.

Got same message on WMR. Followed advice of Sheree:

“Hey everyone, I am having the same issue with getting the message : Your refund has been reduced to pay a past due IRS tax obligation on WMR. This may be old news, but I thought I would share because I know how annoying it is to call IRS phone #’s and get nowhere. I FINALLY got on the phone with a helpful person who gave me a phone # to the treasury department, in which the first option to chose from is getting the exact information on any offsets that might be affecting one’s refund amount. After you select option# 1, it asks you to enter your SS# twice, and then it gives you specific information on your personal refund. That phone # is: 1 800)304-3107.

P.s. When I called, it said, “you have NO past due obligations affecting your refund.” How strange is that!? Hopefully it’s just a glitch :)”

That’s probably it then. If you use the major’s (TT, HRB, TA, etc.) then the IRS sends it to SBBT or RB 2 days ahead and then they send it to your bank in time to be deposited on the 30th. If you use a smaller company who doesn’t use one of those 2 major banks, then they probably got the money today, will deduct their fees, and then will send it to you. I would call your tax agency to see, but you will probably have your money Mon-Tues..

got my tranny ,as exspected, cycle20150405 but a 507 code! darn–additional account action pending, and a 02-16-2015 date, no other codes, no 896,but i had recieved too much premium assistance subsidy ,156$, and had reconciled it on my return,deducting it from my refund,with 1095a,8962 ect.,so i guess its the same hold as those who pay the no insurance penalty,wonder how long it takes to remove and what the process is ?anyone in this boat know anything???

My scripts don’t reflect the offset and they are normal scripts– no funky codes or anything. I’m just missing the magic 846 to release my refund. My cycle is 20150403 and process date is 2-16-2015. Anyone know if fed tax offsets delay refunds substantially??

@Jason – the transcript code is as follows. Whatever day the code comes to be, is the date your return was processed. Take that date, add 4 days, and that’s your ddd. This is all from the irs manual, so it IS legit.

I filed the 20th and was accepted the 20th through TT. I have na transcripts except for wage and account that says no return filed. I have one bar on WMR. I filed HOH with 3 dependants. My refund is over 10k but is less than previous refunds. I was in the 1121 nightmare last year and the education credit the year before so I decided to wait until opening day for a smooth tax process. Apparently I should have waited until the 26th because id see some sort of progress. I’m sorry this is long but I am so aggravated. Happy others are getting dd and ddd but still aggravated!

I did manage to reach a human by phone using the trick you shared but the only response I got from her after waiting 45 minutes on hold was, “No, no. no! I will not check anything until 21 days have passed!”. Customer service sure took a dive with the budget cuts – they used to at least be helpful if you took the time to wait on hold.

I have a couple questions but first I’ll give the info
Filed on 1/27, accepted 1/27 as of 1/30 1 bar @WMR. Did the transcript thing (account one correct? top two weren’t available) with a cycle date of 20150405.
First how certain that this account transcript translates to a DDD? Secondly what does the cycle date mean if it means DDD? I filed with Tax Act too. Is there any proof that transcripts mean anything. Wouldn’t a return transcript actually be more of a guarantee? Just wondering

I just pulled my transcript. the first like is 150 cycle code 20150405 amount 0.00 but the last line says 846 Refund Issued 02-16-15 then it shows the amount that we are suppse to get. do i pay any attention to that first line that says 0.00 because after that it has 3 other lines with codes then the date of 04-15-2015 with amounts used on our taxes. But that last line says 846 Refund Issued and the 02-16-15 with the amount we were told we were getting. I worry because i have student loans but they are in deferment right now until 10-15-15 . so someone said as long as they are in deferment i should be ok. anyone know?

I filed 1/8 accepted 1/12. Have had trans since the 27th. Has my name, new address, filing status, all amounts are 0.00 Feb. 16, 2015, at bottom no cycle code “No Return Filed”. Early filer accepted in test batch. Stuck on one bar, no update. Ordered transcript and it has code 570 at the bottom and says “Additional account action pending”. Not sure what this means. Could it be a processing error?

@s track – Yes, it Does. The cycle code is the day your return was processed. You take that date, and add 4 days, and you have your ddd.

Finally can see my transcript today and everything looks as it should, no bad codes or offsets showing. All credits equal my expected refund. Plus I have that new cycle date everyone is saying will be 02/04. However I don’t have the 846 refund issued code. Has my return just not batched my deposit yet, or?? Just curious if anyone else doesn’t have the code but other that that the transcript looks good? Any insight would be great. Thanks

***If you filed with turbo tax on or around 1/9 your return could be missing important tax forms. I got letter 12c on 1/27 stating my 2014 tax return is not complete and processing has stopped until the forms are received. If you filed a 1040ez and still wanting for your direct deposit date you may want to look over your return manually.
