Thurs – 01
Fri – 02
Mon – 03
Tues – 04
Weds – 05

then the cycle restarts. You will have your money Thursday night / Friday morning. Some time in between Midnight and 7 AM. That is when I expect my money as well. Glad to see this thread is helping people out, I know how it is. As a 26 y/o single father of a 4 year old boy, I def look forward to this money every year. So I know the anticipation can kill and not knowing is the worst, but this way you can bypass that pesky WMR and figure it out on your own :)

Hey all, i am able to see my transcripts now and have a cycle date of 20150402, but i don’t see a code “846” on my scripts at all. the only thing i say at the bottom reads “form 8888 total refund per computer= $0.00. but above that it reads “refund amount” and shows the correct amt im supposed to be receiving but with no codes on that line. anyone know what this means?

I filed 1/15 and was accepted 1/16 Still 1 bar on WMR with topic 152; can’t order transcripts for 2014 – all say N/A. Maybe something will change soon .. it’s only been 7 days since IRS opened on the 20th but I don’t recall this long of a wait in past years to at least get transcripts or a DDD

Just looked at my 2013 Account and return transcripts. Last year my code was 20140705. I got my refund on 2/19 which is the 7th week in the cycle so I think this thread is RIGHT ON THE MONEY! (Pun intended) lol! It’s my birthday and I’m going to Vegas on Thursday so this money is so on time!!!
I have netspend so I’m thinking my money will be on my card tomorrow or Thursday???

He… And yes that it is correct, when you are going through your list of deductions and credits and their codes, at the very bottom there should be an “846 REFUND AMOUNT (AMOUNT)” if that is there, and your cycle number matches 20150402, then you should have your refund sent Friday. If you cant see your Transcripts yet, then they are still processing yours and I would check again later in the day. Since transcripts post as soon as they are completed, some will have it available and others will not, but don’t worry, just because it is not their yet doesn’t mean it wont be and doesn’t necessarily mean you will get your money at a later date than everybody else. Just check back later to see if it is available.

Was JUST able to order by phone today, it wasn’t a wage but a standard transcipt. I see this as a sign it’s processed as that was the case last year. Doesn’t mean a date as I had to order by phone. Damn that tricky maze to remember to acess them online. In past I remember getting my refund before my transcript and that only takes a week.

Oh something I forgot in my original post. Make sure that you go online and set up the account with your name. If the account doesn’t have your name on it, I’m told by many different tax services last you, it will bounce back to the irs and you will get a check in the mail.

@Melissa you are correct. On your transcript, when it lists your deductions and codes for those deductions, at the very bottom of those it will say ” 846 REFUND ISSUED (Amount)” then you know that is how much you will be getting back on your cycle date!

We used it last year it was on there when the irs sent it.
We took ours to a bank near us and had everything removed for $200 Per $4000 removed.
This year we opted to get a bank account that only cost us $1 to set up.

So I was able to order- by mail my Account and Return transcripts but am not able to see them online, says I already have an account and that I’d get a recovery e-mail to log in but haven’t gotten an e-mail to recover the old ID log in. Does being able to order the return transcript mean anything? Or that could be blank as well? or just account transcipts are sometimes showing blank for some people?

MCRT88s assessment appears to be valid, but he or she forgot the critical part – your transcript needs to have a 846 code.

I still can’t use the site and the phone number tells me no information available. I will get my Fed refund on Friday, and I’ve never gotten it before state before. I don’t know what the problem is with Kentucky this year. I Google searched for a hotline number to speak to an agent but couldn’t find one.

@TYLR You have no reason to worry, your cycle date is 20150402, which is what matters. That is when your money will be DD. The other dates in FEB are for the IRS systems and that APR 15th is when your return was received or when it is due by (whichever is the later date) so because it was received in JAN, obviously APR 15 is the later date. Those dates are all for the IRS and their systems. The cycle date is what really matters, it tells them when to send the money, and yours is the same as mine and everybody else’s that can view their transcripts already. Which means it is the 4th week of 2015 on the 2nd cycle day, which is Friday 1-30-2015.

I’m super confused. I have the “CYCLE POSTED” code that most people seem to have (20150402)

but people are saying they have a processed date and a refund date of the middle of February.. I have neither of those on my transcript!

It does say my “received date” is April 15th 2015?!

Should I be worried or should I still expect my refund soon like most people here?

I can access my account transcript for 2014. all that is on there is Head of Household and a date of February 16th. At the bottom it states no return filed, even though I know I filed my return. Can someone please help me????? Thank you.

GO TO http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript & follow the instructions, click 2014 when you are done, make sure you enter a VALID e-mail address, as they will send a verification code. Once you view them, you can see your refund amount and a cycle date. Your refund date will be 2-16, that is not when it will be DD, your cycle number is when it will be DD. If you need help deciphering your cycle number, read my thread on it.

It will take as long as any other first class mail would…in most of the country, unless you’re very rural or have weather like the snowstorms on the East Coast right now that would delay the mails, two to three days from the day it is mailed.

I am able to order my return transcripts now. And my record of account transcript. My cycle code on my return transcript is also 20150402 (pretty positive that will be Monday feb.2 2015)
The cycle code is NOT jullian dates anymore as that would have been a date of jan. 20th or 21st. Still no update to WMR…. hoping for tonight now that all 4 transcripts are available.
My return is EXACTLY the same as last year with the exception of making 3k less due to not working overtime. I also used all 3 identifiers: last year’s pin, a second pin I requested on irs.gov and my last year’s adjusted gross income… I was accepted within 5 mins.

I have seen numerous people asking what their cycle date means, how to decipher it, and when they are getting their money. Instead of answering every single person that asks on every single thread, I decided to just create one..

So, If you can view your transcripts, it will give you a cycle date which will tell you when your DDD is. I was able to review my transcripts this morning and have a cycle date of 20150402. Which I am assuming is the same for most people that can now view theirs. So, the cycle dates go as followed, 2015 is the year, obviously, 04 stands for the week of the year, meaning it doesn’t restart at the beginning of every month, so February 2-8 would be 05 then 06 and so on, even on the IRS calendar THIS week the 26th-30th is 04 (So we know it will be deposited this week) and the 02 is the day in the week it will be deposited, in this case Friday. SO we should have our money sent to SBBT or financial institution on Thursday Night/Friday Morning, then give or take a couple days for bank processing if you have fees, depending on your bank policy for deposits, etc. BUT THIS IS GOOD NEWS!! The cycle “Code” goes as follows (YEAR)(WEEK OF YEAR)(DAY OF WEEK) BUT where people get confused is the day of week. This is because it is based on the IRS CYCLE. So we know its being deposited the 4th week of 2015, the IRS CYCLE WEEK begins on THURSDAY (not Monday), you can look this up on-line, and ends on WEDNESDAY! So THURSDAY is 01, the cycle date WE HAVE is 02 which if Thursday is 01, then Friday is 02. This is how I know that our money will be transmitted on FRIDAY. I am 99% positive. WMR may or may not even update before then, however, I expect an update tonight for people who can view their transcripts. This is also in line with previous years. Last year many people got their DDD and the money was set to be deposited 2-3 days after they received their DDD. Also, for previous returns, look at your Cycle number and the day your money was sent and they will match up as well.
