So i filed on 1/16/15 with 1040.com and was accepted 1/20/15. Ugh just hoping for a deposit date or to at least see status change to approved soon. Idk if the transcript trick applies this year but i havent been able to order mines. And for u va state filers have u got a deposit date mines not processed

Why would someone go through all that trouble to be fake??? It’s uncalled for and evil!!! Have you all lost your bars, or still have at least one? I haven’t gotten anyone to answer my question about having my account already setup with Republic Bank and them knowing the name of my bank. Does anyone know if they have your account setup if that means they have pretty much already done a test run to your account to make sure it’s open and valid?

Received an email from H&R Block today (1/26) that my IN state return has been accepted. Filed on 1/20 but it did not transmit until 1/22 and accepted on 1/26.

I think you’re right. I was accepted last year on 1/31 and had my money in the bank on 2/8. 7-10 says after the IRS opens seems to be the norm. I’m not too worried.

I called ODT and they haven’t received my return even though I was accepted on 1/21. It’s a turbo tax thing I’m sure of it. I refiled on their site. So if you filled with turbo tax and are getting no info found message I’d call ODT.

As of right now no one has a DDD, DDD won’t start till a week after the IRS starts accepting, We should see DDD by Wednesday for those that filed and were accepted by the 20th. We should have the money in our accounts later this week, Friday or Saturday with Monday being the latest. As for all the hype with Ryan being accepted he is a fake, he posted his photoshop picture when I was first on TurboTax, he was called out because he was missing a comma and then fixed it about 20 minutes later.

Maryland released my refund to Green Dot on Jan 24th at 10:59am. Green dot hasn’t released my funds. I called them yesterday and they said they don’t have my money. Today nobody will take my calls. Suggestions?

@Lauren in prior years when I’ve received that message I have gotten mine a few days later and it never updates online til after I receive the deposit. Some years the online site has never updated. The state of GA is so unpredictable!

Thank you Floridian. We all have no choice but to be patient. I spoke with someone from Republic Bank because I saw that I have an account setup. I thought I paid my fees up front but I didn’t. She told me the name of my Bank, so i’m wondering if a test deposit has been made or what. @Josh. where did you get the info that if it says processing it means it is approved or is that just personal experience. I filed on 1/20 and it just says “Your return has been received and is currently being processed, please allow 30 days to receive your refund. If your refund has not been received in 30 days, please log on to the Georgia Department of Revenue website at http://dor.ga.gov/ complete the Replacement Check Request Form and follow the instructions.”

Just curious. I have never used the wheres my refund option for state before.

Hey I believe it. It’s the time frame for sure. It’s on. Last few years it has been 10 days or less from filing to deposit. Sure we are all instanter’ snow meaning we want whatever instantly. It’s by design. I am guilty the same as everyone else. Sure would help to see some sort of progress though. Do not get me wrong waking up to a deposit is just as comforting but sure makes for some restless nights leading up to that deposit. I saw a post by an Ed Sal which made sense and I was able to match ituo with allot my other returns int be years past by looking attranscripts (when they letme log on). If I could post the image it might give a little comfort with a very very general estimation of the process. Basically Cycles are Thursday through Wednesday and the weeks break 2 cycles up. Hence filing on the 15-21 is 7 business days 10 days total until deposit. Which is what most think anyway. Last year most saw 10-14 day returns minus the glitch and early filers. Which is why I waited until the first day To file. No more crash test dummy for me.

I went and looked at the link and compared it to my WMR screen and its a bit off…. I’m not sure from the “screenshot” feature but it looks off. Also after checking several forums online including TT this Ryan… Is the only person approved?!?! If more than one person was approved the boards would be spilling over with approvals. In addition to that he never told them when he was accepted.. Therefore, for my end… I think I would love to believe that but I can’t. Hopefully we really get updates tonight. If I had to guess I would think hopefully by midweek we’d know what’s going on.

Ok, not to rain on anyones parade here, but I think this is photoshopped. I am a programmer and web dev, I see and do a lot photoshop. Look at the January 28 date on the bottom left. The spacing is off.

Anyway, nothing definitive to say its fake for sure, and I hope its real! But I have doubts. Just thought id share.

Look at that picture closer. Notice where the social security number and refund amount are. Look at that color then at the bars, doesn’t it seem odd that its the same color and also look at how the font is different in the bold letters, they can be bold but the font is larger, I suspect photoshop.

I tried calling and after about a 10 minute wait i got ahold of someone….i told them that i could not track my return online or on the hotline…….she told me it was processing and to give it more time….she said it normally takes 4-6 weeks…….but i have never had one take more than 7-8 days……they are usually pretty fast….and most of the time….i get refund before their system shows it…..

I filed with TaxAct this morning (January 26th) and received a text just minutes later stating my federal was accepted by the IRS. It’s too early to check WMR, but I’m hoping for a DDD of maybe February 5th or 6th. Will keep you updated.

I got an offset a few years back. Please know that even if this happens you can still get a large percentage of your redund. Just call and consolidate your loans (if u use the income based repayment plan your “payment” can be zero) & file whatever papers your lender asks you to file. I ended up getting most of my refund back, but it took until like July.

Originally filed with TurboTax on the 20th had to refile on the 22nd due to their systems. Never heard anything on acceptance or rejection for the IRS. After looking through the forms TurboTax did not calculate the 3903 Moving Expenses form properly (never even took me through that part of my refund even though box 12 had a code of “P” with an amount in it.

Refiled with TaxSlayer last night as TurboTax still had not pushed mine through to the IRS and guess what happen…. Accepted within 10 minutes of filing.

Checked WMR before I refiled with TaxSlayer just to make sure the IRS hadn’t received it as of that time.
No information was listed for my social/status/amount

Checked WMR 20 minutes after I got the accepted email from TaxSlayer and whaddayaknow it’s there with the amount that TaxSlayer stated I was getting back. (The amount didn’t bother me as it was less then $100 difference between the two but the fact that TT had not submitted or rejected my refund from their system for missing fields on Form 3903 really gave me a bad taste for them now).

On second thought, nevermind. That makes me nervous. If it wasn’t an official statement from the IRS, someone could be giving out a fake website to get people’s social security numbers and scam them out of their refund. I’ll hold tight. Good luck, everyone :)

So, I know all of us are worried and wanting our refund back ASAP. But I honestly don’t think that they are going to wait until the end of next week to start DDs.. It would be a HUGE mistake to wait that long to process DDD. It would cause a MASSIVE move of money and a ton of other working pieces, all at the same time, and would be a set up for disaster. It has ONLY BEEN 3 BUSINESS DAYS since the IRS officially opened, the first day they typically don’t even process any returns, they just start accepting massive amounts and then the following day they start the processing. Today is only, technically, the 4th business day they have been open.. That said, They will not push an update on WMR with DDDs unless they have a SUBSTANTIAL amount to update, otherwise their phone lines blow up with people asking “Why did they file this day and have a DDD and I don’t?”.. Not to mention yesterday was Sunday, they don’t approve DDDs on sundays, so obviously there was no update on WMR.. I have also heard that this year had a TON more early filers compared to last year. So, with all of that information at hand, including the face that the IRS did have a substantial budget cut.. I would expect to see some updates tonight/tomorrow morning, if not the following night at the latest. Its going to take an extra day or two compared to last year, but fear not.. It will happen. It always does. Just be patient and keep checking your WMR, SBBT and Bank Acct. WE WILL GET OUR MONEY. It may not be tomorrow, but I expect to have it by the end of this week/ beginning of next week at the latest. For all we know they could push an update tonight/tomorrow and it be in our accounts Thursday/Friday… Just saying, it wouldn’t be the first time somebody has got their money 2 days after receiving a DDD. It could happen, or it could be next week, either way it will happen soon.
