I filed last week, 1/19.
I just received an email from FreeTax USA that my South Carolina return was accepted. I know that they said they will not begin accepting returns until the 29th, but apparently they are doing test batches or something.Cassie & Bee…I didn’t update either. I was accepted 1/24, I received the text from the software I used on that day that it was accepted, on Mydor the process date is 1/24. But, oddly, I got an email yesterday afternoon from the tax software I used that South Carolina accepted my return…???? I thought for sure I’d update last night, and that the email meant that somehow the state sends confirmation to the software that the return is completely processed. Wrong :(

Filed and accepted 1/24. Last year, I was accepted on 1/26 and got the deposit 2/3, exactly one week and one day. I still have no updates :(YAY!!! So glad for you all!
I am keeping my fingers crossed for everyone! Hopefully, there are good updates today and tomorrow!

I still have the generic status message, but in my account…I click on returns, and choose this return period (Dec 31 2022) and it shows: “24 Jan 2023 Ontime-Processed Individual Income Return”
So….now I am really wondering if the update is only happening in batches on certain days. I am concerned that I didn’t update on the 25th.
Does anyone see anything different than what I show when they look at their account?Bee…I am trying to remember how it went last year. And I think you are right, that updates were only certain nights.
