The IRS started saying the end of Feb or beginning of March to get people to stop calling so much before that. For the last 4-5 years I’ve always got my refund a day or 2 after Presidents’ Day. My transcripts update the Friday before Presidents’ Day with a 846 code and I always get my money the following week. My transcript codes the same again this year 0705 so I’m still a weekly but I’m okay with it since I know everything’s moving exactly how it has the past few yrs.

I’m a pather. As of dates 2/13. My transcript codes 0705. Been the same for the past 4 or 5 yrs and I always see my transcripts change the Friday before Presidents’ Day and I get my refund the Tuesday or Wednesday after that Monday(Presidents Day)

Guys I’m trying to figure out when I will update for a DDD. If I was still a weekly, my transcripts would update Friday morning and I’d have a DDD for the following Weds. Deposit itself would come though Friday via chime (5 days early). I’m daily again, so I am unsure of when the DDD would translate to.

I was accepted by KY on 2/4, filed on 1/20, still no refund deposit or notification of when refund will be deposited. Last year they started processing on 2/7 and I had my refund by 2/10.

DDD will be around 2/22. I get mine 4-5 days earlier than DDD because that’s how my banking does things. Comes in on around the 16th-18th every year. Even on Sundays I have received mine. Unless of course mine gets hemmed up for some reason.

I had to ID verify and return was processed on 2/3 and now I have the generic 15 day processing time. I wonder if it really takes the entire 2 weeks to receive the refund?

so i called this morning and gave my info and they put me on hold for 5 minutes and processed my return and said i should expect my refund in 7-10 days so ill check my account tomorrow to see if its zeroed out

Not all true; It’s the EIC and/or the ACTC. Secondly, I have been receiving these two credits since the PATH Act was implemented and have received my refund before the 28th.

Refunds for the past several years have not been issued until mid February at earliest. Unfortunately this year is no exception, and refunds are not expected to be release until mid-late February. If you are expecting a refund and have since filed, please allow an additional 2-3 weeks for your refund to be issued. -via reply from mass tax

Like Shotty said, it’ll be coming in a paper check. My brother’s was delayed until June last year because he got a similar amount but they ended up auditing him. He got all the 19k but after months and of calling and calling to get his refund back. Hopefully it’s not the same for you but I wouldn’t expect it any time soon unfortunately.

In my experience it’s hasn’t been linked to path…I am always on path and my Nys generally comes between the 7th and 12th of February

I do think it’s somewhat linked to the federal and path act. Based on previous years I’m expecting to see ddd for both I’d say 2/22, 2/23 or 2/24.

All transcripts are good but don’t have deposit code. I do have a date of 2-20-2023 which should be a ddd. BUT most banks are closed that day, I wonder if it will be deposited the 17th? My bank usually does with my paychecks.

My wife and I have a larger refund coming in this year than usual (just above 20k). When filing, I triple checked the credits and the information from our W2s before submitting just to be sure I was filing accurately.

Question is – do larger amounts like this tend to be delayed? Has anyone had larger returns like this before?Usually our refunds are around 7-8k max.

Update: I checked Maine WMR today (2/9) and the message changed to “Your refund will be processed on 02/08/2023. Please allow 1 week for the money to be deposited in your account.”
Return accepted 2/1. Previous message was “Your return has been processed. You should receive your refund within 3 weeks of this date.”

I absolutely filed on 1/11 with TaxAct and my both State and Federal were accepted on 1/18. I received my Michigan refund on 2/2/23. Not sure where you’re getting your information if that was directed to me, but I have already received my refund.

I’ve seen a few people saying that there seems to be a connection with their NY refund being approved and PATH. Since 2018 my NY refund statuses have changed to approved after PATH lifted. Just sharing info:
2018- approved 2/20, ddd 2/23/18
2019- approved 2/19, ddd 2/22/19
2020- approved 2/18, ddd 2/20/20
2021- approved 3/5/21, ddd 3/8/21
2022- approved 2/24, ddd 2/25/22

Man if only the feds would be as efficient as NM. Everything about this state SCREAMS you’re gonna be waiting a long time for that state refund. But damn if it’s not the fastes turnaround of anyplace I’ve ever lived. And each year it seems to get better. This year I filed online on 2/1 and had my refund on 2/5!
