I agree. I called and the rep said it would post at mid-night. Then went on to say that is when the Fed-Reserves actually releases the funds.
I guess she has been on the phone all day because it sounded scripted. She probably thought I was going to ask for the deposit early but little did she know I wasn’t.

Don’t get me wrong, I want the money but I can wait another 7 hours for it post. I hope everyone that needs the cash gets good news soon.

you can call the offset hotline. i had one this year. filed 2/4, approved 2/14 ddd is tomorrow. offsets do not afftect the timing of your taxes

I filed my taxes on January 30th with Turbo Tax. I filed with a injured spouse form because I knew my husband would cause and offset from child support. For the past few weeks it has been on the first bar of Return received. Now it has no bars and states that it’s under review and I will see a date once it has been processed. Does anyone know If calling the IRS will help to see where they are in the process? I haven’t received any letter for the offset so I am just wondering if anyone has any other information?

Call netspend and verify now. All prepaid cards, per the patriot act, require ID verification. I set mine up at a check cashing place and I’ve never had an issue. They took my ID and SS when I opened it. I even get my refund early with them. Ya know, IF I can get a DDD.

I called netspend just to make sure my account was all ready to accept my refund and even though I only use it for my refund each year, it’s always open and ready to go. The lady was super duper nice too! You can even just call and say you just want to make sure everything is all set up right and they have everything they need for a smooth process. For your own peace of mind at least.

I do like Netspend though. So there are some happy customers! One year they forgot to put me on the fee plan I requested so I noticed at the end of my refund money that I had spent a lot in fees, like 400. They reversed them all back to the day I called to enroll in the plan. I was surprised actually. Anyways, just thought I’d tell you my experience with them. I hope all goes well!

***UPDATE*** Just spoke with someone else and was informed that they received my fax. She stated that once they receive your fax it takes 10 business days to work the error and you will receive your refund within the 4 weeks

Question – I have a DDD date of 02/19/2015. Tax transcript cycle is 0605. I am checking the Santa Barbara site and it says this: No record was found based on the SSN, Refund Amount and Filing Status you provided. Please check your inputs and try again!

Does this mean I won’t get my refund tomorrow? I had never heard of this Santa Barbara company until just reading this page. Super confused. Thanks!

spicyfishtocos well yes the 971 is for the letter but that may have not been posted to the transcript. UR UNDER REVIEW and you have to wait till they release your funds or want something from you. get a TA or call every day and complain!!!

jen no you can check it as many times as you want.. i personally checked mine at least 5 times a day when i was waiting for my refund and yes wmr is 1 day behind the transcript for the most part. transcript comes up at 5 pm monday it would not update till 6 am wednesday

It has been two weeks since I faxed my forms back and I still have no answers. Transcripts are still showing NA and every time I call I’m given the generic 4-6 week reply. Called the advocate line and was actually asked what would are u calling for. I received my state tax refund about 3 weeks ago and lord knows Mississippi is extremely slow smh.

From what I understand you have to have the 846 code. I have both transcripts with that date but not the 846 code. Little ticked about it not to mention confused. There’s no 570 hold code so I don’t know why they’re not sending it.

I called IRS yesterday and the agent told me that some of us who filed 1/28/15 didn’t get actually receipt in not until 2/4/15 or later. I guess Turbo Tax sends in a bunch and sends them to IRS but not necessarily receipt in to their system. My understanding was that usually when there was a delayed in receipt, you would not see the WMR and it would just say your tax refund is still being processed… The 21 days starts from the actual date the IRS receipt it in. In my case, mine was receipt in 2/4. The DDD has nothing to do with the cycle code. The funds will be processed and released but they can’t tell when because it is computerized. If transcript already showed means that the was the date of receipt and transcript will be updated once process is complete. I assume mine would have an update by Friday with DDD by next week.

I filed my return 1/30/15 and was accepted maybe 30 minutes after… I called Turbo Tax 2/16 and said there was no red flags… Its.gov just says I was accepted… Up until yesterday… Bars disappeared and now it says refund date will be posted when available… It never got to be approved… But now there’s no bars and today is the the 2nd day it’s like that… My 21 days are up 2/20 and I’m getting nervous… What the he’ll is going on… It’s a simple return… No dependants just me and my spouse…

John mine says the same thing. I spoke with someone from Irs he said my return is in the errors department and shows nothing no letter sent out so not sure what’s going on.. He also said that it could be something that needs to be done manually. I wonder if it’s from the health care I had insurance part of the year so I had a fine for that

Called the IRS today (even though I am only at 18 days) using the number on the tax topic 152 link. After about 20 mins pushing a bunch of buttons on the automated system I got through to a person who was very nice but she was unable to tell me very much other than what I could see myself with WMR. She said all she could see what that it was still processing and that she did not see anything to explain the delay. Going to keep checking WMR and will call on the 23rd. Oh little FYI even through the automated system says it was recieved on 1/31 her system showed that it was actually recieved on the following Monday 2/2 at the start of business. Maybe an additional contribution to the delay is that we all filed over the weekend?

Ga is BS’ing around I was told on the 10th that it was approved and I would see it in 5-7 days now I’m still waiting. I called this morning and I was told it was pending approval now someone is lying because I was told on the 10th then I called back on the 11th and asked more question and was told the same thing. So why today am I being told it pending approval and the approval will be handled by the system instead of manual. So which is it. So I’ve called again cause I really couldn’t talk being at work and all and left my place in line and I’m going to find out the truth cause this is BS.

So I called and talked to an irs phone rep, he said the 570/971 codes are a letter that will be sent out the 23rd. He couldn’t tell me what type or if it would even require me to take any action. He said it may even be just notifying me of a processing delay. I’m on hold for the tax advocate now. But he said it would be 45-60 days from when the notice is sent…

The 4464C is dated 2/6/2015, the day after I was able to first access my transcripts (which 2 out of 4 were N/A blank, no return filed etc etc). Since that day I have been unable due to technical issues access my transcripts until today 2/18/2015. My transcripts give me a cycle code of 20150605 but I still have 570 listed. The only codes I have on my transcripts are 150, 806, 768 and 570.

Would I have a 971code as well?

Here is a time table

2/5 accessed transcripts for the first time 2 out of 4 n/a blank no return filed

Hi Bart,

I was wondering if there are any negative repercussions to checking your IRS transcript too often (daily or more) when waiting on your refund, since you have to log in. I have been limiting myself to twice a day. Does it set off any red flags?

Also, if your transcripts don’t update that day, chances are you’re not going to get a WMR update that evening, right?

Spicyfirshtocos the answer is a little more complicated then you think 570 is a freeze on the return and can be for any reason such as error audit verification of income Id verification and so on depending on the reason 2-3 weeks unless it’s something big then 4-6 weeks
